"Misguided?" she questioned with a raised brow. "The only one who seems to be misguided is you..", she stated rather bluntly. "Jakkin, God knows you're the last person I want to hurt.. but I won't live a lie, not again.. Haven't you ever notice the distance between Suru and I? Everything is a competition.. Everything is a lie Jakkin.." Lacuna seized herself and mumbled a bit before sighing. "I won't bother you after this.. Only because I can imagine what kind of pain I've brought.. and the struggle I've caused with my greed.."

With a sudden flare of anger Jak pulled her roughly against him, kissing her hard then releasing her just as quickly. Turning away, his teeth clenched, his voice harsh with bitterness. "You let others decide whats right...never gave us a real chance at all." Leaning against a tree to steady himself, he turned back to her, his eyes mirroring the emptiness he felt inside. "You know where to find me..." He shoved his boots on then walked away quickly, intent on putting as much distance between them as possible.

Lacuna angerily threw her spell books and drawings into the damp ground and kicked them. With a fiery anger she screamed and ran through the wooded area, finding a place out of the cluttered forrest and back to the Underground.

Sunray Tristram Though Drake didn't roll his eyes, he did growl just slightly. Her comment was one of the reasons he disliked elves. "Fine then." He stood still for a moment, letting his hearing pinpoint where she might be. When he was able to hear her, Drake took a swing with one of his swords. Barely ducking out of the way, R'larin rolled her shoulder and feinted with her dagger. Just hoping to get out of his range for a split second, she used the opportunity to roll to the opposite side of her "blow". Not sure where to go from there made her angry, and she growled in more of a feral way than she had meant to. Dropping the dagger to the ground, and lunging violently at Drake, the night elf threw herself at him; sword point down until it was just even with his crotch. Throwing all of her weight behind the attack, she thrust upward with the sword and out with her newly extended hand and nails. ((damn, sorry this has taken awhile. getting a job and moving called.))

Unable to watch further, Ray stood suddenly and casted off a quick spell. Sparring was one thing but she didn't want it to go any further. One of them could end up seriously hurt or worse. She wanted to keep Drake whole and to have R'larin as a friend. The spell was to stop time just long enough for her to get up another spell that would hopefully deflect R'larin's blow but would also keep Drake from attacking. It wasn't her place, probably, but she couldn't watch any longer.

Feeling the daze of a spell slow her un-naturally down, R'larin moved with the flow to lower her hands and step bakward. Not sure that Drake could do the same, she hoped that he'd at least see that she had stopped attacking. Smiling warmly, or as best as she could with the magic still in effect, she waited for the spell to wear off.

Ray stood back and watched, the time stop spell already having dropped. Her other spell, however, would be up for a while and Drake knew it. "Seems Ray doesn't want up sparring anymore," he muttered while casting his friend a glance. She only shrugged. "Best not to have you get killed right now. You still have an army to look after."

Suru stumbled. ploddingly, through the woods. He still had his unic off, from working in his hot room, and his hair was a mess. His hand was bleeding freely, and had been for some time, and two of the centermost fingers hung limp, dislocated and broken.
He hadn't the slightest idea of what he was looking for, or where he was going, he just wanted to be away. Out of tat house and away from everything that had gone on there. He wanted to fight, and scream and tear and other things. Drinking was high on the list. Anything to make him forget.

Plopping down on the ground, the night elf picked up her discarded dagger and started cleaning it. "It's best we stop anyway, we weren't getting anywhere." Smiling apologetically at both of them, her ears twitched. "Besides, it sounds like we may possibly have company..."
Teleporting herself to the nearest thing she could see from her bedroom window, Davina was absolutely livid. Anger at losing her grip on Nikolaus, frustration at losing her cool in front of the sipid angel-slut, and feeling completely lost. Stomping a foot childishly, she screamed in utter vexation. Clenching her fists, and calming down, she cocked her head at the beautifully dirty boy she had managed to pop herself in front of. "Hello."

Suru looked up, blankly, blinking to try and get his eyes to focus. He reached up, squinting, to try and brush some of the hair from his eyes, and yelped in pain when he exerted the slightest pressure on his hand. He looked scared, suddenly snapping, at least a little bit, out of the zombie-daze and looked up at the woman in front of him, murmuring, "I . . . . . I think . . . I'm hurt. Can you help me?"

Lifting a corner of her mouth in a smile, Davina nodded. "Of course I can," gliding to the boy she took his shattered hand and bent her lips to it. Using the kiss as a conduit for her power, she healed the hand to perfect conditions. Narrowing her eyes playfully, she looked up into his face. "Anything else need fixed?"

He blinked, wonderingly, flexing his hand, and swallowing heavily. After a moment, what he'd been asked sunk in, and he opened his mouth to speak. Nothing came out. He just shook his hed and wiped his eyes, shivering a little as his eyes teared up again. "That . . . . . that part can't be fixed."

"You poor child," the demon woman purred, "A heart ache?" Summoning a deep green and gold brocade tunic, she handed it to the male before her, "You look like you need a drink, let me take care of you."

He blinked at it, and realized how cold it was, before taking it and sliding it on, gently, and nodding. "I . . . . she said . . . . things . . . . " He blinked again, swallowing at the lump in his throat, before rasping, softly, "I just want to forget."

Draping an arm around the boy's shoulders; she cooed softly, "Let Davina help with that." Leading him towards a secluded grove in their natural surroundings, she used one last trick to create a small bar. Decked with the trappings of a drunk's wet-dreams, it had everything and more in the way of alcohol and mixers. In a cold display case were pastries, cakes, and various candies. Gesturing towards the bar stools she whispered into his ear, "Take a seat and tell me what I can do for you."
