"I'm not used to cities." was the response as he started to eat another. His face became serious. "Want some help?"

"Sure I'll help you." he said quickly, an almost automatic response from him. He often got sidetracked by helping others, not that he minded. Besides he currently didn't have any leads so there was no problem.

"I've only been in the forest for a couple of days. I still don't know it all too well." he admitted. "So what does she look like?"

[[ wow. Slowed to a halt eh? Hmm... let's see if we could pick this up again. /dusts hands/ Here we go...]]


Aoi became a little completative, remembering Inanise's face. "She's about this tall..." he said, measuring her height and approximating that it was about his mid-torso, "...grey eyes and white hair, pale skin. Looks almost like a ghostly little girl." he told Zephyr.

They were already a little ways into the forest, the trees starting to become more dense as they walked further in. "She'll be easy to spot in this place full of green." Aoi commented after a bit, pushing away a plant that got in his path.

Where are you? he thought.

Inanise had eaten a bit of jerkey and excused herself to let Vincent feel at ease by himself for a while. She wanted to walk around to look for a specific herb that could only be found at a specific spot. Thoughts of Aoi and leaving without even leaving a message made Inanse feel a bit guilty, but it was something that could not be helped.

Things had moved so fast before she could even have a say.

She treaded the ground lightly, her seemingly blind eyes seeing every detail around her. "Where is it...?" she mumbled to herself.

Just as she was about to go forward, a specific plant caught her eye, the bright red petals of its small flowers warning her of danger. This was the home of a creature that slumbered for most of its days, waiting for the unwary creature to step into the trap that was its mouth.

"Close." she said, turning away quietly.

Aoi's ice blue eyes looked about, and saw a flicker of white amongst the foliage. "Inanise!" he shouted instinctively, all reason flying out the brain. Indeed he was not mistaken, it was her there.

He started to walk briskly towards her, forgetting of the dangers that the small red flowers around him warned.

Inanise's eyes grew wide. He was heading right for the creature. His shout had already awakened the slumbering beast, and she could see it move in the darkness.

"No!" she souted at the tanned man, flinging her arms out and using her powers to push Aoi back.

Aoi felt as if there was a bubble that formed in front of him and knew that it was void at work. He sunk into the invisible bubble and was pushed back, far back, almost crashing into Zephyr had he not grabbed the trunk of a nearby tree and stoppef himself from going back futher.

As this happened, a creature that was pitch black in color rose from the ground, tentacle-like appendages covered in moss and a plant-looking spines with small, bright red flowers. It was mostly shapless and the main mass of the creature bobbing up and down in place. The tentacles thrashed about, angry at being awakened.

Inanise dodged the flailing limbs and looked about for any sort of mid-sized creature that could feed the beast and lull it back to slumber. The Old Inshi had told her that creatures such as these were an important part of the forest and that it should not be killed. These were their domain afterall, and the humans were the ones invading it.

The pale girl looked about and hoped that she would find one in time.

Meanwhile, Aoi stood there, looking at this..thing. He did not know what it was and all he knew that it was angry and flailing. "What did I do now?" he whispered to himself. Reading his power at hand. He did not want to shout Inanise's name for it might draw the creature's attention to him or her, but he also wanted to make sure that the girl was safe.

She knew it was there... He thought, watching it carefully.

He would have to kill the creature if it came down to it. Hopefully, it would be his last resort...

"*****.. Leon?" He let out after looking annoyed from the cheek pulling.

His hair was always ruffled up, messy and he looked like a bed head person but it was slightly neat after he had combed it for his mother but she just ruined it. Making him gah he went to straightening his hair.

As she started to spin he grahs as he gets wet from her, brows coming up as she winked each time, backing off now. But when she started to run off his jaw dropped and his eyes opened slightly.

Head hanging forward and gahhing out, smoke was clearly seen rising up off of his body like he had just been burned.. "Gahh, dang it Maron!" He shouted, quickly now running after her down the hill.

Zephyr jumped back as Aoi flew past him. After checking to make sure the man was okay, he turned back to the girl and the creature that had reared its ugly head out of the ground.

He wasn't a complete stranger to this kind of creature, although the forest kind was far more tame than the mountain variety.

He looked around quickly, judging by the creature's size, it wouldn't take a large creature to sate its hunger. Zephyr pulled out a small colored pouch.

"Let's hope that this old lady didn't scam me too." he said dupming the power onto the ground.

He threw the powder upward, sweeping it along the wind and through the trees. It was a strong enough sleeping powder, he hoped that it would work. It was evenly distributed enough so that it would not affect the others drastically if some did manage to hit them.

"Let's hope this works." he reapeated again.

"Uh... um." Alyssa, usually cheerful, felt slightly intimidated by the stranger's tone. Calib, on the other hand, seemed to find it amusing. "I was, er, wondering if you were, uh, Elwen. Someone told me you could help me with my fire ability... It's gotten out of hand and... yeah." She finished off pathetically.
