She sighed. He didn't understand it. There was no not moving or not leaving in this situation, this was her life. But then she thought of something. If she got close enough to someone, so close to them that they considered her family maybe instead of moving she could live with them. Her face seemed to light up for a moment and then it darkened once more. Who was she kidding? Not only was that rude but she couldn't abandon her family. They needed her. It was hard enough having her father away all of the time, losing her too would be devestating.
"I can't help it Michio. I will be leaving some day. I have no choice" she explained solemly. She wished it weren't the case

"Yes, but what would the world be like without hope?" Michio asks. "If we hope then even the most complex problems might solve themselves. We can only hope that you stay here as long as possible."

"Well I guess thats true but before we do anything I have to find myself a roommate so i don't sleep in the courtyard tonight" she replied. She did see his point of view and she would appease him for the time being. She knew she atleast had a few months her so hopefully she could make the best of them. If she got hurt in the end well then she'd punch him for getting her into this mess but that wasn't happening now.

She looked up to him but only for a brief moment. Her greyish gold eyes peaked out from under her hair to meet his own. It was a frightening feeling for her though, to look them in the eye. She couldn't explain it, it was just something she had learned to fear, the gaze of another that is. But the instant was over as soon as it had begun. She nodded and waited for him to lead her back to the courtyard.

"Well we should head back to the Coutyard now so you can find a roomate," Michio says after looking her in the eyes, he thought she was beautiful, and her eyes are their own separate beauty.

Others had commented on her eyes and their beauty in the past. This was one of the reasons she hid them. Her eyes attracted attention so naturally that would draw people towards her leaving her to grow close to them. She started to walk foward and an inaudible whisper escaped her lips.
"give me hope... I need this" was what she had said but no one could have possibly heard it besides herself.

Michio follows her as she walks away, for he promised to help her find her way, and he hopes that she can can stay, and he hope that she feels for him the same way, awwww.

She slowed her pace so that he could catch up to her. She didn't want to be rude, and she wasn't exactly so sure of how to get there either. She wondered what her roommate would be like. She hoped they would get along, maybe even do normal things that teens did. Well at least normal teens with powers did.

Michio catches up with her. "So how do you like the school so far?" he asks. "I hope you find a roomate that likes you. In the Guy's dorm, you don't need a roomate."

"Yeah, I don't feel like so much of an outcast to society here. I'm not the only one with powers. Everywhere else was just crazy. If I ever had an outburst everyone would scream and then they'd kick me out of school. Then the neighbors would be after me and they'd demand I be put into jail or something. Scientests were always trying to experiment on me too. Especially in the military, so my dad never lets me go with him to work or anything" she explained to him as they walked

"I'm sure you've had your experiences too. You have a lot of powers after all" she replied as she continued walking. it had grown dark and now the stars were out, along with the moon. She stopped once they were outside and just looked up. She had always dreamed of being up there, it was so beautiful.

"Thanks for your help, Keilia. I'll see you later, ok?" Rylie started to exit the cafeteria. The black robes she was wearing swished and swirled around her legs as she marched purposefully out of the crowded building.
"Where to go? she thought to herself. "Aha! The courtyard. That's it." Rylie spotted the entrance to the courtyard and went inside. ((You can now find my character in the courtyard, if you're looking, Lady.))
