Nebride went in and out of conciousness, barely recognizing anything around her. It all passed by as if it were a dream. Sometimes she even thought she caught sight of the spirits. "No, it can't be. They did their job. They found Eleclyo---they should have gone away."
Nebride wasn't sure, but she thought she cried out. The beast's claws dug into her flesh sending bouts of pain up and down her arms. "I can't move---why can't I move? Gwendar.....I hope you're......safe." Once again she drifted off into a state of unconciousness.

he rushed back to camp as quickly as he could
"GREN!!! TOGAN!!!"
he said puffing as he found them near a pond.
"NEBRIDE!!! she been captured we have to find her quickly follow me.
Valco:
"WAKE UP ELF!!" he said shouting at her limp body.
the beast had formed its head into a sort of cage with Nebride within.
"come on now i made a promise to you i intend to keep it WAKE UP!"
sa he said it chains pulled her to her feet.
"bah such frail bodys" he said touching her shoulder.
her many wounds seemed to heal.
"haha dont worry theyll return SOON!" he said grinning

Nebride kept her eyes closed and breating normal as she heard Lord Valco yelling for her to wake up. "I will not give him the satisfaction. He can keep yelling until he's blue in the face." Nebride tried to remember happier times--she tried to remember when Gwendar had admitted to loving her, and she had admitted to loving him. "Maybe..." Nebride concentrated as hard as she could. "I hope he hears me."
"Gwendar! Please...don't do anything stupid. If you do come---bring others with you. You cannot possibly beat Valco by yourself. I am weak Gwendar--I will be of little help even if I do manage to get free." She thought of the lake and sent out a clear image from her mind to Gwendar. "This is what it looks like. Be careful."

i glanced over at togan. "i'll answer your question later" i said in a bit of a hurry.
i jumped off of the boulder i sat on and followed after gwendar. " do you know who did it?"

Nebride could sense that Valco had gone elsewhere for the moment. "Let's try to contact someone else now."
Nebride pictured Gren in her mind's eye. "Gren--listen to me...I'm at Soul Lake--the one I was telling you about. I...I can't move. It hurts even to do this. I'm not sure if Gwendar got my message, but here's how you get here." She sent a mental picture of the road to travel to Gren.
"Please Gren--be careful. Valco is a powerful being. I wont say he's a man, because I don't think he is anymore. Please hurry---I don't know how much longer I can hold on. I will die before I give him what he wants."

i heard her voice in my head. it sounded like she was in pain. i wondered if i could respond. "gwendar got your message. i will be carefull. you just try not to move or talk. i can tell it's hurting you. we're coming right now"
i don't know if she heard that or not. but it was worth a try.

Nebride sighed when she heard Gren's reply. "Thank God." She tried to go back to sleep--to stop the pain. "Please---hurry."

all three of them running after him.
it would take at least an hour to get to the lake.
hopefully they wouldnt be too late.
Valco:
"haha im back" he said laughing
he knew she was awake. he could hear her mentally crying for help.
"haha so you love this man ?" he said coldly
he had an idea
"i wonder.......... u might die for your cause but are you willing to sacrifice his life?"
he created a shadow like image of gwendar.
"what if......" he showed the shadow image being torn to peices screaming.
"haha no no i have a far better idea."
the various tortures he placed the image through seemed to become more and more horrific.
"hahaha if you dont help me i promise you i will show him pain he could never imagine." he threatened.
if she truly loves him then thats how i will get her to do what i want.
"give me the power to use this lake!!" he demanded.

he started running with gren
he didt really know what was going on but he knew that if gren was going he would too
he may not be a good fighter like they were but any help he could be was enough for him

Nebride gasped as the shadow image of Gwendar was torn apart. "Oh God---I can't let that happen to him. I can't!"
"What do you want the powers of Soul Lake for," Nebride growled. "What's in it for you?"

he was pndering whether or not he should tell her
"well to put it simply the powers of darkness although undeniably powerful do not allow eternal life." he said grinning
"this lake will let me live in this godly state for a good many centuries"
"anyway lets talk more about u like how fun it would be to hang u upside down while i see whats under your skin" he said laughing
he of course wasnt going to do it he had to keep her alive. at least untill she gave him what he needed

he was running as fast as he could the many trees flying past him.
i will find her was his only thought
his legs almost screamed from the strain he was tired from the last fight but he didnt care
he kept running and running
nothing would keep him from Nebride.
"Gren! Togan! hurry up we dont have much time!!!" he shouted to them

i appreciated that togan wanted to help but it was too dangerous. i wouldn't want him getting hurt or anything. i looked behind me at togan.
"togan. are you sure you want to get into this fight?" i asked him with a concerned tone in my voice.
((i'm sorry. but i can't help but picture togan as a child. do you have a picture or a detailed description you can pm me? it'll be hard for me to picture him as an adult without a pic or reference sweatdrop ))
