Torvil did take note that his clothes were miracously dry by the time he got halfway to his room, so he made a beline for the temple instead.
Well it really wasn't a temple, it was more along the lines of a cavern with several totems carved out of the walls and places to leave offerings, but really now, religon is religon, and it was their temple.
Finding the Priestess was easy, what actually surprised Torvil was the fact that the High Priestess was there as well as her daughter that day. Holding Morgana in his arms he knelt and bowed his head. "Revered one," He said, his voice low.
The High Priestess turned her head to look at the couple and smiled, barely genuflecting herself. "Child, what are you doing here?"
"Revered one, I have come to join my fate with this womans, to be two as one," He spoke, keeping his head low.
"Her father has consented?" The High Priestess asked.
"Her father has... Not consented, but has not been present to ask for consent..." Torvil faltered chewing his bottom lip in frustration.
"Mother," The Priestess said, tugging on the High Priestess' robe. "Have they not gone through enough strife this day?" She looked at Torvil with mournful eyes. "This man is brave and strong and has been through much, please Mother, let him be one with this woman." Her voice was heavy with caring.
The High Priestess nodded her head slowly. "So shall it be then, you have my blessing..." With that she bowed her head slightly again and left the three before the totem of the great Ivory Dragon.

Morgana would have been in tears, if it wasn't for the Priestress daugther. Turning her head towards the woman, she gives her a warm smile. She was actually trembling now, and not because she was cold. But because she was nervous. Looking at Torvil, she chuckles as she smiles at him.
Carefully slipping from his arms, she stands in front of him. Her legs shaking for moment, until she caught her balance. Holding her hands out towards him, she tries to keep herself together.

Torvil rose to his feet and pulled Morgana close to him. He didn't care so much about ceremony at this point, he just wanted to be married now.
It was more than past due he thought.
"Thank you," Torvil said to the Priestess, moving over to her and taking her hands, he kissed her and bowed his head. "Will you bless me sister?"
The look in the Priestess eyes should have been very familiar to Morgana, as it was the same look that Torvil gave her daily. She did not speak at first, but nodded, placing her hand upon the back of Torvil's head.
The blessing she gave him was in the tongue of the ancestors. When it was done, Torvil lifted his head and kissed her forehead. "Thank you sister."
The Priestess smiled, tears were forming in the corners of her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away, feigning dust.
She turned to Morgana and smiled. Her eyes were jealous but you could tell that she was not about to do anything untoward. She moved to Morgana and smiled. "May I bless you sister?"

Morgana looks almost taken aback by the look in the priestress's eyes. But she quickly recovers as she smiles nodding to her. Bowing her head she closes her eyes, trying to not think about the look. But her mind went back to it for a split second.
She couldn't help but wonder, even if she was apart of his people now. How many of these woman look at her the same way.

"Dra Naes Ter, Kul'theram tar vel de, ka'sed be her that becomes one of us, and may she understand what words I speak, may she be strong, may she know only happiness." The Priestess intoned as she touched the back of her head gently, even lovingly. When she was done, she lifted Morgana's head and kissed her softly. "Welcome home sister," She smiled. Her eyes shining brightly.
The Jealously was gone perhaps, or perhaps pushed aside, it was impossible to tell.
Torvil smiled and moved to Morgana smiling. "Welcome beloved to my home," He said, sounding dreadfully formal.
He sure wasn't speaking Common.

Morgana eyes widen from the kiss, she would have said soemthing until she realized she understood her. Looking at Torvil, then back at The Priestress her jaw dropped alittle. Lifting her hands to her lips she looks back toward Torvil.
She couldn't believe it, allowing her hands to slips from her lips she shakes her head "I understand you...." gasping she brought her hands back to ehr lips, she knew even she wasn't speaking Common now.

Torvil smiled. "Of course you do mine beloved, you have been blessed knowing what all born of the dragon soon learn, it is only fitting, no?" It was a very formal language, and it sounded very strange coming from Torvil's mouth, he was of course, a very casual man.
"Sister," Torvil said turning his attention to the Priestess. "Shall we begin the ceremony, my beloved and I have waited ever so long, and we do so wish to finish this with great haste,"
"Surely," The Priestess said bowing her head. "Thou art a strong and wise man, this woman shall be a great match for you," The Priestess said, smiling at Morgana and taking her hands, leading her to the idol and placing her hands upon it. "Morgana, know now your god,"
Torvil smiled, and placed his hands upon Morgana's, the Priestess then placing her hands upon his.
"Know thine god for true," They both said, and keeping Morgana's hands there they smiled as the idol began to warm.
And Morgana would have a vision of the Great Ivory Dragon rearing up before her, it's white wings shining in the sun, it's claws sharp and it's teeth bared. It roared triumphantly and reached forth a claw to her.
"Will thee give it thine heart?" Torvil intoned, his voice deep. "Will thee give it worship?"

Morgana didn't seem at all shocked when the dragon appeared before her. A smile forms across her lips as she nods. Looking towards Torvil, then back to the dragon "I give thee my heart as well as my worship." looking at the claw, she wasn't sure if she should reach out toward it or not.
It was at that moment, the bloodstone started to glow again. Oh this little one didn't liek the fact that no one would worship her. Pulsing again instead of going after Morgana's wounds, she went after another important part of her.
Morgana winces as she closes her eyes, her lower stomach screaming out in pain to her.

This did not please the Dragon. It was not a powerful deity, in fact, not even a deity at all, but a spirit of a ounce proud creature. But that didn't mean it didn't have the power to retaliate.
It snapped at the bloodstone, the idol turning hot, the heat causing both the priestess and Torvil to quickly pull away in pain from Morgana's hands as she suddenly became superheated.
Child of Sin hear me now... The voice was deep and rumbling. Hurt my children and thou shalt taste my wrath. I will share her with thee, if thou but leave her be.
Granted it was a spirit of immense power, but it was not a god. But it was doing all it could to keep the damage to Morgana minimal. It DID want her to increase the population. Given time, it might gain enough worshipers to gain godhood! It couldn't have this little monster destroying that chance!
What say you Sin child? Do I have to chastise thee?

Morgana winces in pain trying to pull her hand from the idol. Only to find that she can't. Lifting her other hand up, she wraps its around the bloodstone, she could feel the anger coming from it "Do not do this Sin. You will kill us both." her kneels buckle under her causing her to kneel.
The bloodstone seem to become more pissed when the Dragon spoke to it. But when she heard its life supporst word, she seem to calm. She would share, but only because she wish to live. Dying down the glowing as well as the pain seem to fade.
Morgana couldn't move, not because of the pain anymore. But because she just had to spirits fighting for her. Looking up at the Dragon a smile forms before she stands. She seem more stronger then normal, even if she was pale. She looks over to Torvil and the Priestress, arching one brow.

The Priestess's eyes were wide and she had a hand covering her mouth. The other was hanging limply at her side it's palm was badly burned as she had tried to help Morgana but had been hurt in the process, she had not known her ability to absorb temperature.
Torvil was watching Morgana for the most part, making sure she was okay, once he was sure that the pain had passed he moved close enough to feel the heat radiating from her.
"Your Talisman upset the Dragon Spirit," The High Priestess said from behind the three," She reached out and murmured a few soothing words to the idol, placing her hand on it's super heated stone, and was not burned. She kissed it softly before looking to Morgana. "Whatever deal the spirit has struck with your talisman must be upheld..." She rested her ear against the stone and nodded slowly, her eyes becoming bemused.
"How strange..." She said, reaching out and touching the hand that Morgana held the stone in. "Such a small thing with immense power... It desires what all living things desire... Love it child, love it as you love your god..." She kissed Morgana's forhead gently and strolled away.
The Priestess shook her head and moved over to gently lay a hand on the idol, she smiled to find that it was not hot anymore. "Shall we finish the ceremony?" She asked, speaking in the common tongue now.

Morgana feels the idol cool, closing her eyes she place her other hand on the bloodstone. She knew she was safe for now, she didn't understand what agreement the child of sin came to. But she didn't dare question it either. Opening her eyes she looks towards Torvil, a smile forming across her lips.
I believe I am, its up to you love. Do you still wish to marry me?"

Torvil smiled and nodded, moving to Morgana and placing his hand over hers. "Yes love, I am ready..." He kissed her softly and then turned to the Priestess.
As it turned out the marriage ceremony was rather simple.
"Do thou wish to be as one?"
Torvil smiled. "Yes, I do."

Morgana arches a brow as she looks at Torvil. This was nothing like she seen on tv, or in all the magizines she read, Looking at the Priestress, she smiles holding the giggles inside.
She asked for now, and that was what she was getting.

The Priestess smiled and looked to Morgana. "And do thee wish to join with this man, who shall love thee and care for thee until the day that thou both art gone?"
Torvil was grinning like a fool.
