[R]ed Akkad` [R]ed word. but if brawl has no online play expect alot of people to be pissed. me NOT being one. i dont have online access for Wii anyway, so its not like its hurting me any Well, then you are just going to have to get it. If SSBB is online, I know you will have some interest in getting internet for your Wii.nah, not really. because i do get it; id have to here whiney newblets. And cocky fags. i hate people like that. ill just stick to playing with friends around home You have to admit though, playing online against culties is a very interesting idea

I would dominate you all! domokun (I've been practicing recently on Melee. Also: playing versus with 2xdamage is very fun.)

Marth I just use when against certain people. I like his counter move.

Meta_Fish You all adapt fine to control schemes, you only don't want this change because it'll put you on a somewhat level playing field with newbies. It could work, and it could work well, and you could like the control scheme more than you like the GCN one. I kinda hope they put some kind of Wii controls into it, or else it might as well be on the 360, to be honest, because it'd have better online play and more polish. what? so what you are saying is that SSBM may as well have been on the xbox or PS2 and that ssb64 may as well have been on the dreamcast or PS1? I'm sorry but that is just stupid.

I'm saying that if it doesn't use the only thing that sets the Wii apart (it's controller), then it might as well be on another console, where it has a controller better suited to that, and better online play.

-Before the game was in development, it was already said that it was going an online route. This was mentioned on the early stages of the SmashBros site. So, I do expect it to be online.

I agree with Fish this time. I have faith in Nintendo, they'll do fine despite the control style. I can kinda see a huge fan-based tirade about many changes in the game; the main reason I can foresee being a dramatic change in how the game engine plays (physics, speed, control, etc.) whether it be for better or for worse. Even though personally I am kind of hoping for the use of the other controllers, seeing something new and innovative can always be a pleasant surprise. (And frequently is from Nintendo.)

Updates are daily on weekdays. Considering that, their updates do seem as small. It might be old, but they'll have something tomorrow and the day after. Though it is probably in the afternoon in Japan when they do update-Explaining the "late" site opening. Sakurai doesn't adjust his schedule based on time zones, so if you're in high school the updates will be up by the time you usually wake up. If I'm correct, the is about a 12 hour difference between the US and Japan depending on where you live.

Meta_Fish Not what I'm saying. I'm saying that if it doesn't use the only thing that sets the Wii apart (it's controller), then it might as well be on another console, where it has a controller better suited to that, and better online play. the wii allready has 2 controler suited for it though. GCN and retro. I'm still not following what you are saying at all. Not every game on the Wii has to have motion sensetivity to be good on the Wii.
