"Very well, we'll stay tonight also." Alianae replied. At that, sets of keys appeared in the centre of the table. "Take one each, I suppose. We'll stay here." Something niggled at Alianae in the back of her mind.

We should be going faster, It said, or we'll be late. We can't be late!

But she didn't know what it was talking about. Late for what? Anyway, she thought she'd like to spend a day here. It was nice, being back in Alalea.

"All right," Sora said, and he and Kalios took one key each.

"So...what are these keys for?" Kalios asked, as he examined it.

"Rooms. Upstairs." Alianae replied with a slight smile, "And since you're new here, a built in map. Each one works differently, depending on you."

"Maps...yay," Kalios said, and put it in his pocket. "So...don't mind me asking, but what is there to do in this town?"

Alianae looked at him. "What would you want to do in this town? There are many things."

"Aye" Minae agreed, stuffing a key in her pant pockets, "There is much to do in Alalea you couldn't do anywhere else... And since there is an unusual flow of magic surrounding the town itself, your power is increased as well; THough how much it is depends on how strong you were to begin with..."

She sighed and went for the stairs; She had chosen the very same room she had chosen so many years ago.. IT all seemed to come back to life to her...

May grabbed a key as well, and spoke no words to the others, simply walking up the stairs, barely catching a climpse of Minasia walking into her room.
She stared at the key, no paticular emotion in her eyes, but noted that she had the same room as THEN...
The one right in front on Minae's...

"Good; I'll be able to keep an eye on her even though we're apart..."

She sighed and ran a tired hand through her hair, unlocking her door and throwing herself on the bed; It still had the same scent... No one used it since THEN... Hard to believe, since it was so soft, and dust not even apparent.

"So... What they said was true; If man doesn't remember his mistakes, he is condemned to remake them..."

With that quiet whisper, she drifted to sleep.

Alianae watched then go upstairs, noting which keys they had taken. She hid a smile. The keys they had taken...were the same ones as the last time they had been here. But that time had been different. That time, she hadn't felt they were late.

She sighed and stood up. "There's something I want to do." she said as way of explaination before exiting the building.

Fira sensed her need and fly back from the river almost immediatly.
What is it?

Sarea...

Sora watched the three leave, and then looked at Kalios, and then stood up. "I'm going to go fly with Terra," he said, and began to walk out. "Oh, and don't cause any trouble. For all our sakes," he finished, and walked out the restaurant, and from there to the town. Terra? he called out.

Yes? Terra asked, and after an extra drink, flew down in front of him. Hop on, she told him, and crouched down.

Sora smiled, and jumped up. After a rather hyperactive jump, they flew through the air.

Kalios just shrugged as Sora left, and went up to his own room, feeling Sora's vision on dragonback fill his mind. He flopped onto his bed and let the sight fill his mind.

Is she in the town? Fira asked.

Somewhere nearby. Town or forest. I don't know. But she has to be nearby. She's never missed out before. We just have to find her. She smiled wryly, That's going to be fun. Fira, can you go over the forest nearby and look for her? You know what to look for. I'll do a search of the village. She paused, concerned, She's never joined us so early.. Alianae shrugged and sighed as Fira took to the air again. Then she walked down the street casually, her head turning to glance left or right every so often.

At the corner of her eye, a building wavered and dissapeared for a second. She began making her way towards it.

((Sorry I haven't been on much. My intenet connection's been going on the fritz.))

Kalco pocketed his key and leaned back in his chair. He ordered himself an Everclear(I don't care if that was spelled right, and it's actually a real drink.) and thought to himself, I can do it this time, I can stand it. He radied himself, thand took a sip. He felt nothing. "WOOHOO!" he said as he stood up. "I di-YEEEOW!" His head throbbed from the immense amount of alcohol in it. He clutched his head as peopled rushed to help him. He pushed them off."It's okay..I'm fine." He walked upstairs to his room and laid down.

Halbark had caught a deer and was looking for Terra and Fira. Guys? Are you there? He decided to drop the carcass and sleep for the night.

Kalios stood up from his bed and walked over to the map in his room when he saw that Sora was just going to pry through beast's minds. Let's see...inns...restaurants...schools...aha. Sparring Grounds, he thought to himself, and left the room, with the map, now having shrunk to the size of a quarter. He smirked, and tucked it underneath his bracelet.

As he passed Kalco, he looked again to see if he was actually going in a straight path. He seemed a bit...overwhelmed...with what? Alcohol? Maybe. He smirked and walked out of the building, headed towards the sparring grounds.

When he got there, already three couples were sparring. He pulled out a practice sword, and found another elf pulling one out too. "Wanna spar?" he asked.

"That's why we're here," came the reply, and they ran to an empty field, meeting each other with every thrust and parry, being like reeds at a high swing, jumping when their legs were threatened.

The building dissapeared to reveal smeone instead.

Sarea..we only get to do this about once a century, sometimes not even. The least you culd do is give us both some fun. Alianae said, dissapointed.

We don't have time for this. Where is she?

The inn..again. I hope it doesn't turn out like last time.

The INN? You took her to stay there? Whatever. We need to go! Where's Saurulia.

May you mean. She's with Her. I'm not daft you know, I know she has to be..protected.

If you weren't daft then you wouldn't have made the same mistake as last time.

Alianae ingnored it and frowned. So you feel like we have to be somewhere as well? Like we're late?

I
know we're late. I just don't know what for. That's your job.

Alianae shrugged. "You know, they're not going to take kindly to ANOTHER person mysteriously joining. So do you mind being called Ruia?"

Sarea's eyebrows rose. "You would have me impersonate you?"

"No. Simply take on your other identity." Alianae smiled.

Sarea shrugged. "I don't care."

The stranger finally found an opening, and after a whispered word that caught Kalios's ears a bit too late, jabbed the practice sword into his stomach. Except...it wasn't a practice sword anymore. It was a spelled sword made of dragonscales and moonlight-soaked ronan wood.

"Hm. 10 Minutes? I thought even you would do better than that, Kalios," he said, as he stared into his face. "Oh, yes, I know your weaknesses. A Ronan-Dragonscale sword was hard to procure, but my master made me get it special order for you. But don't worry. You'll live. Your friend is on his way. So, I'm off," he said, and with a shout, disappeared into the air.

Kalios stared at the sword protruding from his stomach. How did he know? Wardens were impervious to all but these weapons and those that are spoken with Words of Killing. Sora? he weakly called out as he closed his eyes.

Sora was disrupted in his mental prying by an immense stomach pain. Apparently, Terra noticed, and was already hovering over Kalios. Hello? he called out to Kalios, and jumped off of Terra, looking at the wound. The sword was the most unusual he had ever seen. Dragonscale blade and Ronan wood handle. When he yanked it, it came loose, and color started coming back to Kalios's face. His knees buckled, and through loose tears, whispered the healing words to stop the effects of the sword, as Kalios slumped into unconsciousness.

Both Sarea and Alianae turned as one. "You felt it?" Alianae asked, one hand over her stomach.

Sarea nodded. "A warden."

"Kalios."

They looked at each other and ran to the practice fields. They saw Sora, already kneeling over Kalios and went to them.

"Sora. Let us do it. His blood and body will take better to our healings." Alianae said.

Sarea was already tracing the line where the sword had cut, sending her own warden blood to him, careful not to let him know. If he sensed her, he would remember and that would break the spell.

Sora looked up at Alianae, his face stained with tears, his eyes stinging red. "Alright," he whispered, and went back, waiting for them to do their healing. He could feel Kalios's dreams and visions overlap his thoughts.

He remembered. Not much. Only that he was a Warden. And the spell that concealed the Will within him and those other four. Their faces were dark, yet he was sure he had seen them before. And then the Will. A small piece of parchment that varied in size, the text written on it everchanging with glyphs that spoke of power. Other than that, Kalios was unsure.

.....Then the memory fled his mind, leaving only the pain of the Ronan-Dragonscale infection that was spreading through his body. Then a strange warmth as he felt the healing begin.
