Arch kissed Ruby on the side of the head, bringing his arm down away from her. "Ahng ahwn." Arch said, straightening out his back. There was a nasty popping sound, and Arch scrunched his face up as both of his wings disappeared into his back. He gasped for air after it was done, slouching. "Theah wouhldnt 'ahve biehn ah waih fehr uhs tah laih tagetheh othehwaihse."

Ruby moved back to his side, concern written over her face. "Sugar, you didn't have to do that. I woulda left you be to rest." She frowned but was quietly grateful that he did fold up his broken wing. Having to keep away from his side would have been torture, though she would have done it without complaint.

Arch the Angel Arch just smiled, laying down on his good side. Ruby laid down close to him. She was exhausted from all the fighting and healing. She glanced up at Arch's shades, slipped a hand up and pulled them down a bit so she could see the eyes behind them. "'fore you sleep sugar, could you do me a favor? Hum that song of yours again?"

Arch the Angel Arch smiled, staring into her eyes as he started the song that hasn't actually been mentioned on the guild before, slowly drifting off. Ruby fell asleep rather quickly, relaxed in Arch's embrace, and with the sound and vibrations of his voice close by. She slept peacefully with her head nested close to Arch's, her red curls spread out on the futon.
