Ran Kizama *Ran gazed into Ranpha's mesmorizing eyes and began to feel at ease. Her gentle voice soothed his frustration and he smiled slightly as he took her hand into his. Cain laid his forehead against hers. "And you have no idea how happy that makes me. I will always, always, be your best friend. But I think I'm in love with you, and I didn't know it until a few minutes ago." he said. The waitress came back over and silently put the drinks on the table, walking away quickly.

Cain smiled gently, having a bit of trouble breathing with everything coming on so quickly. "I used to think that I was in love with Ran," he said, not really wanting to bring Ran into the conversationg but wanting to be truthful, "but, now I think maybe it was just a very long running crush."

Cain sighed and kissed her nose. "If you had known Ran the way I did, you would have been very shocked. He isn't the type to fall in love, I always knew that. Maybe that's why it took me almost five hundred years to tell him I cared. Course, I got turned into a girl not long after that. But, I would be muchmore upset if you fell in love with someone else. I think my heart would die." he said, a few tears seeping out of his eyes at the thought.

Cain wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, resting his chin on her head. "It would really suck if Rasaj caught up right about now." he said, chuckling and trying to mlighten the mood a little.
