"We were high school friends. Both into the witchcraft." he bobbed her head a bit after she spoke, looking more and more distant, then snapped back to attention. "But really, that must be weird huh? All of a sudden you're human. Full of blood and sunlight and mortality."((isn't there an episode where willow tells angel about amy the rat? in any case, he being buffy boyfriend around that time, he would have known about amy, don't you all think?))

"Yeah...I guess it is weird." Angel mentioned. He seemed distant, deep in thought. His mind was still racing. When he finally came back into reality he looked at her, remembering her words as if they were a far-off memory. "Witchcraft? You're a witch too?"
He knew the answer was obvious, but he was trying to decide something...and he needed to be positive about absolutely everything.

Amy nodded. "Yeah. I've gotten into some pretty heavy stuff. Soul swapping, teleportation. Still, never heard of a vamp turning human. Other way around, sure. I met this ceepy-worship-cult in Utah that wanted me to turn them all into vampires. How weird is that?" she emitted a laugh. "Why would anyone want to be a vampire?"

Angel laughed uneasily.
"Yeah, why would anyone want to be a stupid...creature like that?" he said and then started staring off again. "Hey...um...so it's possible? Without getting bit in the neck and all of that again?"

"Oh yeah! It's actually really easy. You just need the essence of a vampire, their blood. A little ritual, a few hours of being technically dead, and poof! You rise a vampire." she looked at him askance. "You're not thinking of re-fanging, are you?"

Angel nodded his head as she went over the steps. It seemed simple enough, and it's not like very much would change. He would still be Angel...or more rightly, he would be his old self...the hero, the vampire with a soul...
Angel shook his head sub-conciously. "I don't know..." he mentioned. "I just feel so...useless now..." He didn't even know this girl, and he was spilling out his guts to her already...or at least starting to. "But uh...I gotta go."
Angel adjusted his long trenchcoat, waved goodbye and headed back toward the mansion. He had to talk to someone...Buffy, preferably. Only she could help him out on this. It wouldn't only change him back...it would change their relationship again, and probably not for the best.

Amy smirked to herself. What an interesting turn of events. She tapped her lower lip with her finger. Wasn't quite sure how to work it to her advantage yet, but she could make it work somehow. He didn't seem to know much about her, which meant Willow hadn't told anyone they'd met. She turned around, heading back to her hotel room. She knew that these early-morning work outs would pay off sometime.((sidebar: first you said mid afternoon and now you are saying it's morning. Please keep track of the time. It is important for everyone else to know the exact time of day it is.)) [[[I suggest you pay more attention to earlier posts then. It's her regular early-morning run, but she slept late.]]] ((miss michelle says she didn't post that first sidebar, and thinks perhaps mods should distinguish their sidebars - torcs is red with brackets, mine is darkred with parenth.. cuz i don't want people i'm the only b***h. rotf))

Dawn decided to go and pracise some magic as she had a couple of books that were good. She headed to her bedroom and reached for her book shelf. She got the items down that she needed for a spell and read the words to herself. A candle was light and inscence was burning to create the right mood. Powders and oils were added to the mixture and she chanted the spell. Dawn smiled to herself and wandered if the potion was going to actually work on someone and make them fall in love with her. She just wanted to see if it would work and then she would make the counter potion to reverse the effect. Now to use the charm on someone, she thought to herself. Hmm, well to make things interesting she would try it on herself first just to see what would happen. Dawn placed some of the ointment on her tongue and swallowed it. It tasted gross but she managed to keep it down and suddenly there was a slight tingling sensation throughout her body. "Love potion number nine, do your stuff" she said as she blew out the candle and headed downstairs to the kitchen to see who was about.

Watching Buffy respond with nothing, Oz nods a bit.
"Okay, never mind. I'll find one myself." He bites into his sandwich as he walks back upstairs, hoping to not bump into Willow. Oz wonders if this mansion has a library or a computer room. It's big enough, but he did not want to go to unwanted territory. I mean, he should only stick to areas of the mansion that he is familair with and allowed to go to. Oz opens his bedroom door and returns to research through the books, leaving the door cracked open.
"There has to be a computer around here somewhere."

Buffy had just gotten off the phone, realizing Xander was going to be awhile. Oz was saying something, but she was thinking of Xander's tone of voice, and the next thing she knew he was walking away. ((how the HELL is it still mid afternoon. you're all insane, you know that right? rotf)) Glancing at her watch, she took a look outside in disbelief. The sun had yet to set? This was fast becoming a day just like the one she had spent working for Anya. Buffy headed down to the common room to check the answering machine to the number one person on earth had access to besides herself. The light was blinking, and she took a deep breath, and depressed the "play" button. A familiar voice annouced that he would be making a pitstop with his wife in Cleveland, and would be available to help in any way possible. "And I hope you're well, Buffy." She quickly deleted the message, then walked over to the shelves of alcohol. Poured a shot. Drank it down. Considered maybe she was drinking quite a bit lately, but what did it matter? She was no longer "The One", there were "Ones" all over the world. She could do what she wanted, and damn the consequences. Look what following the rules had gotten her. A whole lotta nothing.

[[[I suggest that it be required that mods sign their sidebars when it comes to things outside enforcing the rules (such as a note about sigs, coloring dialogue, etc.) I haven't been because my tag's been distinctive, but I'm sick of all these comments without knowing who to respond to, respoinding in an edit, and filling up the RP with tags like this. ~Torca]]] Andrew found his way downstairs, looking for Buffy. His head felt funny, and all day it seemed like he had been slow and random'd out. It felt like he was forgetting something. He found Buffy doing shots in the common room, looking forlorn and gloomy and altogether Slayer-ish. He walked over to her.
"Hey, Buffy," he nodded at her, pouring himself a shot. He started to drink it down and did a kind of half-sneeze, spitting most of it out. Ok, so no heart-to-heart over drinks, as that required drinks. He found a towel and started to wipe up some of the spilled liquid.

Faith sat in Kennedy's room, atop the dresser yet again, flipping through books, not getting anywhere with the information she had. She sighed and set the book back on her pile of returns, and looked over at Kennedy, thinking. What are we not seeing, Kenn? What am I not seeing? She slid down off the dresser, and took her vigil seat, right next to Kennedy, holding her hand.

When Willow strolled up to the front of the house, sunset was just beginning, and she had prepared herself to tell everyone about seeing Amy, and how she felt good about controlling her urge to smash Amy's face in. She headed inside, and came upon Dawn, who was looking rather... pretty.. Willow stopped walking and stared for a moment at the girl she considered her own sister. "Uh.. hey Dawnie.. you look really.. nice today." All thought of talking about Amy had fled her mind, and the only thing she could think of was the scent of Dawn's perfume, which was.. kinda...yummy.

Phoenix closed the cab door with a giggle, and went to the back of the cab where the driver had popped the trunk. Looking inside, she was in awe of all they'd accomplished in the few hours they'd spent shopping. "Steph, this is insane," Phoenix said as she grabbed several plastic shopping bags. "And I don't have cash left, so you're gonna have to pay the fare, dude." She grinned toothily and headed inside after grabbing two more huge bags. Once inside the foyer, she walked over to the right and deposited everything in a pile, then gleefully upended all the bags, calling out, "Everyone come and get your presents!!!"

Steph paid the driver, and smirked, thanking him. She hurried to the the back, grabbing the last 3 bags and rushing in to set them down. She panted, as she got to the door, giggling to herself. "Absolutely, but we deserve it. Right?" Steph looked up to see Willow and Dawn standing there. She inhaled the perfume Dawn was wearing, and eyed the fair haired beauty. She shrugged and shivered as she began pulling out the gifts she had bought for everyone.
