"I understand that ... I don't want to see you hurt either." He said softly as he kissed Taylor's cheek.
"So wher does this put our relationship?" Lasdon asked as he looked back at Taylor.

He sighs and rested his forehead against Ladons.
"I don't want to hurt you .. but I don't want to lose you either. I'll just have to be careful until I can get used to this stuff ..."
~
Ladon nodded.
"Then we'll just have to take it slow. We don't need to move so fast." Ladon said with a soft smile. ~
He nodded slowly and smiled back. Taking Ladon's hand he kissed his knuckles.
"Thank you, love," he said softly.
A chilled breeze blew through the trees and sent a shiver up Taylor's spine. Glancing up through the trees he noticed the slowly receading light of the sun as dusk drew nearer. Shrugging his jacket off he placed it around Ladon's shoulders and pulled it tight around him to ward off the cold.
"Lets get you home before the streetlights turn on," he said, taking Ladon's hand again.
~ "It's not safe out here after dark ... let's go." Ladon said quickley as he grabbed Taylors hand and started to quickley pull him along. Why hadn't he noticed it getting dark before? The dusk started to surround them. Ladon looked paniced. ~
He followed obediantly after his boyfriend, careful not to crush the saplings and they rushed out of the tree cover. His keen eyes searched around them as they practically jogged across the grass for any sign of what might have Ladon so nervous but found nothing but a few stray professors walking to their cars.

~ Ladon glanced back at Taylor.

Standing at the base of the sighted wall Taylor crouched down and sprung up to the second story balcony, landing with a heavy thud. As he set Ladon to his feet he glanced over his shoulder.
"Lets get you inside," he said softly, a posessive hand resting on his boyfriends shoulder.
"Its more than just your people out there tonight."

He opened his mouth as if to speak but paused for a moment to look over at Ladon, his eyes seeking.
"Rose hips and ... bubble gum?"
~ "Bubble Gum?" Ladon asked in disbeleif before he tore through the house. He ended up in the kitchen to see a small little girl with two long pigtails asleep at the kitchen table. A bag sat next to her. Ladon walked over to it ad opened it. Sure enough ... a little stuffed Tiger sat there.
"I see she found a replacement." Ladon said softly as he picked up the tiger. It was identicle to the one sitting in his locker. He set the tiger down and nudged the little girl awake.
"Sunny ... sweetheart. Wake up." Ladon said softly.
Sunny rubbed her eyes Drowsily.
"Ladon ..." She said softly.
"Sunny ... " Ladon replied with a smile ...
"Don't tease!" she giggled sleepily.
"Never Sunny." Ladon replied as he scooped the little girl into a hug.
"Who's that?" Sunny asked Ladon turned to see her gaze on Taylor.

Taylor stood in the kitchen doorway and stared on in disbelief. This wasn't the threat he had expected. Two pairs of eyes were fixed on him, one pair wide with curiosity and the other calm above a knowing smile.
He stood frozen for a moment before he came to himself again. A soft blush came to his cheeks and he raked his fingers through this hair in an old nervous habit, then not knowing what to do with his hands, he shoved them in his pockets.
"I, uh ... I'll be in the living room," he said softly as he stepped backwards.
Once out of sight he breathed a little easier and plopped down on the couch. He didn't know the little girl and he didn't know what explanation Ladon was going to offer her for his presence there.
His call, he thought to himself.

"Okay Ladon." She said smiling. Ladon grinned at her.
"Now Sunshine! The question is ... why are you here?" He asked.
"Daddy is being mean! And Mommy is working ... I don't like being with the coven ... They look at me weird. I want to be with you." She said as her little fists cluched at his shirt.
"Sunny ... your part of the coven whether you like it or not. I am too ..."
"But I don't like it!" She protested.
"I don't either Sunny but we're just going to have to deal." Ladon said sternly. Tears rolled down Sunny's face.
"Please don't take me back! Please Ladon! I'll be good! I just don't want to go back!" She cried into his shirt. Ladon's heart ripped in two.
"No Sweetheart, I won't take you back." he said softly.

"Taylor ...this is my sister Sunny. Sunny ... this is my ... Boyfriend. His name is Taylor." Ladon said gently, wondering how she would take the knews. Sunny looked at the new man carefully. She inspected his face thoughtfully and then smiled.
"Okay Ladon." She said smiling. Ladon grinned at her.
"Now Sunshine! The question is ... why are you here?" He asked.
"Daddy is being mean! And Mommy is working ... I don't like being with the coven ... They look at me weird. I want to be with you." She said as her little fists cluched at his shirt.
"Sunny ... your part of the coven whether you like it or not. I am too ..."
"But I don't like it!" She protested.
"I don't either Sunny but we're just going to have to deal." Ladon said sternly. Tears rolled down Sunny's face.
"Please don't take me back! Please Ladon! I'll be good! I just don't want to go back!" She cried into his shirt. Ladon's heart ripped in two.
"No Sweetheart, I won't take you back." he said softly. ~
Taylor let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding in and stood up slowly.
Well, he thought, that was easy.
He smiled softly and held out a hand to Sunny.
"Nice to meet you, Sunny," he said, shaking her hand gently.
"How old are you?"
~ Sunny rubbed tears from her cinnimon coloured eyes. She focused her gaze on Taylor.
"I'm Five." she said shakily.
"Sunny, sweeheart, why don't you take your bag to the spare room?" Ladon asked as he lowered her to the ground.
"I can stay?" She asked.
"Yes ... you can stay." He said. Sunny lrt out a whoop of joy and ran for her bag.
"I'm sorry that I dragged you into this." He said as he hugged Taylor.

She smiled. As she was digging through her closet she found something interesting. "Which one?" she asked, turning around, holding up two different bras. [ razz ]

.the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. the Seventh sin .the.[MAD].hatter. "Bubble Gum?" Ladon asked in disbeleif before he tore through the house. He ended up in the kitchen to see a small little girl with two long pigtails asleep at the kitchen table. A bag sat next to her. Ladon walked over to it ad opened it. Sure enough ... a little stuffed Tiger sat there.
"I see she found a replacement." Ladon said softly as he picked up the tiger. It was identicle to the one sitting in his locker. He set the tiger down and nudged the little girl awake.
"Sunny ... sweetheart. Wake up." Ladon said softly.
Sunny rubbed her eyes Drowsily.
"Ladon ..." She said softly.
"Sunny ... " Ladon replied with a smile ...
"Don't tease!" she giggled sleepily.
"Never Sunny." Ladon replied as he scooped the little girl into a hug.
"Who's that?" Sunny asked Ladon turned to see her gaze on Taylor. ~
Taylor stood in the kitchen doorway and stared on in disbelief. This wasn't the threat he had expected. Two pairs of eyes were fixed on him, one pair wide with curiosity and the other calm above a knowing smile.
He stood frozen for a moment before he came to himself again. A soft blush came to his cheeks and he raked his fingers through this hair in an old nervous habit, then not knowing what to do with his hands, he shoved them in his pockets.
"I, uh ... I'll be in the living room," he said softly as he stepped backwards.
Once out of sight he breathed a little easier and plopped down on the couch. He didn't know the little girl and he didn't know what explanation Ladon was going to offer her for his presence there.
His call, he thought to himself.
~ Ladon scooped Sunny up and carried her to the living room.

"She seems sweet," he whispered and kissed Ladon's neck, "but she isn't getting my spot on your bed if she has a bad dream."
His laugh rumbled through his chest and made his eyes dance as he let Ladon go.
