Howdy, I'm Zacheriah. I am a fan of Star Wars (if I wasn't, I wouldn't be here XD) and pretty much an in-between in the eternal Star Wars/Star Trek feud. I always watch any of the original trilogy whenever it comes on TV as well as every one in a blue moon on DVD. I am also a good Roleplayer, though life tends to pull me from the fun, so dont expect me to jump head first into the fray.

The Star Trek/Star Wars Feud is a joke.
You can't truley compare the two and many star wars fans have at least a passing respect if not a fondness for star trek.

I happen to rather enjoy the Trek, especially The Next Gen and Voyager. But my heart lies on Manda'yaim with blasters and swoops and that stupid thing called the Force cool

Firinn here. I joined this guild so it is pretty evident I adore Star Wars. My knowledge on the subject however is limited. I'm hoping to read some of the novels this summer so any suggestions where to start would be lovely. I apologize in advance if I ever manage to offend someone. I have a nasty habit of saying what comes to mind without thinking it over first.

I enjoyed the Legacy of the Force series, but that's not necessarily a good place to start. Try starting with the NJO, see how that treats ya.

Hello, I just got into the series this Summer from my best friend who is a big fan of the series who invited me to see the Star Wars in Concert that came to our city. It was very mesmerizing as a music geek that I am as it had the orchestra that Williams once conducted as well as the original score to Return of the Jedi on display as with many of the real props from the movies. Best of all, the concert was hosted by the man who voiced CP30. The day later, I made no delay in finding my dad's box set and popping them in the DVD player one after another. In the series, my favourite character would probably be Mace Windu (also, the coolest light saber in the series) and my favourite movie would probably be The Empire Strikes Back as it had the perfect mix of everything.
Also: Anyone else watching the Star Wars marathon that's on Spike TV (not sure if it's a Canadian only channel or something >.<) until Thursday?

If you like ESB, then you should have no problem fitting in. Just watch out for the pirates, outlaws, and other non-Imperial types.
