"For your information, no I've never been. But thanks so much for giving me my first," Jade said, voice dripping with grumpy sarcasm. Only being able to see where they were leaving and not where they were headed, the young Shinra heaved a sigh and alow himself to relax on the Turk's shoulder. This was the last thing he expected when he agreed to being carried.
Out in the hallway, Jade shot glares at those who chose to keep their curious gazes upon them. That seemed to keep them all at bay.
"Video game, huh?" he questioned. "Well.. alright. That sounds promising enough. But you might want to hurry before I'm able to think of some sort of new revenge to get you back for this!"

"Well, that's a laugh," Jade said snidely. "I wasn't aware ol' Rufus could do anything for himself except b***h and moan about everything." What was really the laughing matter, was that Rufus would probably say the exact same thing about his nephew.

"But you got to realize, Red," he continued. "I like to spend as little amount of time with my uncle as I possibly can. Lunch, maybe dinner, and a few minutes yelling at each other about how I'm not supposed to mess with his scientist's experiments. That's my fill of him. No time for any sort of simulations."

With each step taken, Jade's stomach was bounced on that bony shoulder, causing him to give the occasional "Umph!" He took two fistfuls of the back of Reno's jacket to keep himself as steady as possible.. which hardly helped.

"Please, Red.. Please don't compliment my uncle's looks around me. It's making me more nauseous than I already am," he said, giving a mock gag. Even if Rufus was handsome, Jade would never admit such a thing. "See, it's more like a mutual hatred. He doesn't like me, I don't like him. At least we manage to put up with each other to an extent, though. I mean.. it's not like I'm trying to kill him or blow his house up like everyone who hates him does."

"Which brings me to my next point," he continued. "He's had to notice all the people that want him out of the way. It's got to be something wrong with him that makes people not like him."

Rufus watched the younger Turk with a slight smile on his face, smiling warmly for a few second, only a few, an instant where his icey blue eyes sunk into Ryzils soul and opened up as if to say 'I understand' and then, as quckly as it happened, the look was gone. Replaced again with the normal ice mask he wore.
"Well, let's step out onto the roof, it's cooler." Rufus stated, walking towards the door after letting his fingers slide away from Ryzils face, over his jaw and off his chin.
"Really though, I didn't notice a difference in the tempature, hmmm." Rufus started to climb the stairs.

Feeling his feet finally touch the floor, Jade shook off a slight light-headedness that came over him from the sudden change of position. Rubbing his sore stomach with one hand, he used to the other smack the back of Reno's bowed head. "Thanks for the ride, Red," he said in a bitterly sarcastic manner, before turning away.

"So where's this simulation thingy at anyway?" he asked, glancing around as if it were going to pop up in front of him at any moment.

Jade held the helmet out at arms-length, examining it skeptically as it were something borderline disgusting. "You look ridiculous," he said to Reno, seeing the Turk with his own equipment already on. Sighing in what sounded to be reluctance, he slipped the helmet onto his head followed by the gloves.

"Hey, is this going to be like some sort of virtual video game?" he asked, his tone depicting the idea perked him up extensively.
