Barberus Bragge brought the snidget into the game. When the snidget was banned from the game, Bowman Wright created the Snitch.

The longest match was for three months. That was said in the books. Though in Quidditch through the Ages, it said and I quote: Quote: There is a tale that a Golden Snitch evaded capture for six months on Bodmin Moor is 1884, both teams finally giving up in disgust at their Seekers' poor performances. I would say the three months though beause the quote listed above showed the match wasn't finished. biggrin Hehe.

Protego is a Shield Charm.
It shields you from damage from other spells.
