Ciyari matches Layla glare for glare. Snotty she may be, and obnoxious, but she's a stubborn, willful little thing as well. Not even bothering to look up, she mutters to the avian: "When I learn something from you, beaky, then I'll start worrying for my sanity."
She lets Hodari make the first move, staying quiet, brows knitted.

Urari sat off to the corner from the two grey cubs, pretty much unnoticed. There was another black cub in the shadows.."Hmm..I wonder what she is doing..?" he asked himself. "Maybe she'd be kind enough to talk to me?" He didn't realize that every cub in this land was not like him, he wasn't going to get along with all of them.

The hawk turned his head to the side to look at the cub. :Little Queen cannot even get her own food: he clicked his beak at her. :Little one would starve if not for others: Inzi was a master hunter. Even the others looked up to him, and that is what had won him he lovely mate.

( xD I love Msuko! She's funny. *had to say that* )
::Hodari raised an eyebrow when he got no response, taking one more step towards Layla, ears flicking back to a relaxed state.::"Well...?" ::He inquired, tail swishing ever so slightly.::
::He lifted one of his paws to set it down, pausing in mid-action to stare a while longer.. Why wasn't she responding? He wasn't scaring her was he?::
::The grey-white cub looked back to Ciyari, not really wanting to leave his place beside her.::

Montsho had had quite enough of this, she didn't want to make the poor little lioness scared of others afterall. The large, powerful panther stepped gracefully over the leafy branch near layla and cleared her throat lightly.
"Her name is Layla, she is young yet and has not yet learned how to communicate," her deep voice seemed almost unnervingly neutral.

((Thank you Kitsune. ^^ I love her to bits.)
Msuko peered over at the dark furry thing near her still, and she flew down to the ground, more like fell. Standing up and shaking her head, she picked a leaf from her uninjured wing and noticed the two-toned cub she'd spoken to last night.
"Kree!" She called to him, waving her unhurt wing. "Urari! You no try to eat me, I like you! Come here!"

Ciyari's glare snaps suddenly towards the hawk. "Get lost, bonehead," She snaps, good temper all gone in the briefest of instants. "How d'you know I can't hunt? I can hunt better than you, and smell better, too." Her ears snap back, and she looks about to start again, when she spots Montsho.
A thousand warning bells go off in her head. Adult! A panther, but that doesn't matter...any adult feline, no matter what species, gets Ciyari's defensive and arrogant attitude going. With a final, harsh glare towards the little ebony cub, she nudges Hodari with her shoulder. "C'mon," She mutters, trotting off a distance. "Let's go."

Urari had heard Msuko, but he pretended not to notice. He was still ashamed at what had happened yesterday. He had climbed a tree, tried to eat a bird, fell out, and he doesn't remember a thing. He doesn't want it to happen again.

Inzi laughed so hard at the cub that he almost fell off his branch. :Little one is arrogant: he cackled. He watched her trudge off and turned his attention to the others

"U-uh.." ::Hodari stuttered, glancing at the two panthers before turning to follow Ciyari...:: ::He began walking slowly behind her, speeding up a little to get up next to her. The whole time wondering what had caused her to wish to leave so suddenly.. He dare not ask...::

The leopard held herself proudly and watched the light grey cub as she moved to walk away. Waiting the proper amount of time she let out a rough chuckle and leaned down the slightest bit towards the adopted cub.
"My, short stuff's got some attitude on her," she allowed herself to easily be heard, and smiled the slightest bit at her work, pushing Layla playfully with her paw.

Msuko could be quite loud when she wanted to be. Maybe he just hadn't heard her? She filled her little lungs with air, and cried in that lovely high pitched squack of hers.
"Kree! Urari, hey furball! Over here, it's that bird you tried to eat!" Satisfied that he must have heard her, she waddled over to an outgrown tree root and rested upon it. Her wing wasn't feeling the best, and if she had to hop all the way over to the onyx and snow colored cub, she'd be a bit irritated.

Ciyari's spine is stiff and uncompromising, head held high. She doesn't turn back to the dark leopard and cub, nor towards the irritating bird; nor even to Hodari, merely expecting him to follow her. When he catches up with her, she lifts her paws into a sharp trot, and disappears down the path, further into the jungle.

He trilled for a moment and hopped of the branch to drift over to another one. He landed not far from the other cats and the lound bird.
