They still weren't ready to challenge Roxanne, but they thought that maybe they could watch Roxanne train for a while. Mudkip was happy to see his friends again. They went to a beach near Rustboro to train, and Mudkip jumped back into the water and played with different Pokemon like Wingull and Marill. He came across a Magikarp, who wasn't much fun.

Eventually it was destroyed because ZIgzagoon and Shroomish were tackling it too hard. Mudkip came up with seaweed for them to eat, and Day washed them and started a small fire to roast the seaweed.

want to roleplay together? I've got to go know but I will be on tomorrow.))
Shroomish had woken up and Mudkip and him were becoming friends. Kent decided that he wanted to try and catch another pokemon. "Let's go over by the lake." He said. "Muuuuuudkip!!!" Mudkip streaked out the pokecenter. Kent scooped up Shroomish, who could only waddle slowly, and raced after Mudkip. "Wait up!!" Mudkip ignored him, intent on the lake. They reached it with Mudkip diving into the lake. Kent was huffing and puffing as he set Shroomish on the ground after Mudkip. He noticed another girl there already.

"Mudkip!" Mudkip quickly swam over to the other Mudkip. Shroomish changed his direction and hurried over to the other Shroomish. "Shroom Shroom!"
"I'm Kent. I'm going to try to yes. I'm not sure how far I'll get but I'll try. And apparently we both have nearly the exact same pokemon. Except you have a Zigzagoon."

"True. Shroomish will have an easier time until Mudkip learns Water Gun. At least Mud-Slap would be good against her. I caught Shroomish in Petalberg Woods yesterday." His Mudkip was still energetic. It kept running ahead then back. "Thank you for letting me join you."
