Charity tried her best to copy the stance she had seen Arashi in earlier, clumsily hopping about on the pad, unsure of how she was doing. Oh my! she exclaimed in a wobbly voice, swinging her arms about, trying not to lose her balance.
I would love to spend some time with new people, Giovanna started happily. And of course it's not too personal. Hardly anything is. Ummm... she started with a soft laugh. My other daughter and one of my brothers... well, they were involved in an accident. So literally, they drifted away. she said. I'm so sorry, I need to joke about that in order not to go crazy. She looked at Ashili, calming to a smile. I have Charity, whom is my niece. My sister's daughter. Oh how I can't stand my sister. Giovanna glared briefly. Greta's one of my daughters. She was quite the mistake, but I certainly wasn't going to do to her what Charity's mother did to her. My parents are lowlives, my...lover... she paused, taking a deep breath. Isn't around, apparently.

Arashi laughed to her friend, stopping and turning to her once the song was over. That was a great start. You want to play again or do you want to move onto another activity? she asked with a smile.
Ashili laughed softly, shaking her head. Oh my, she said softly, looking to her guest. Well, I'm sorry about the accident, have you tried finding them? she asked, unsure of pushing the matter. And your love, if you don't mind me asking, where is he or she?

Oh I don't care! Charity exclaimed, catching her breath. You made it look so easy though. I'm just really slow, and my reflexes are horrible! She looked at Arashi and smiled goofily. You choose, I don't mind. I just like spending time with you and having fun!
My love... Giovanna started, looking past Ashili. He got mixed up with the wrong people and decided to move in with our mother. Doing one or the other would have been bad enough, but he did both. She sighed and shook her head. He had the option to stay where he was or move on, with me, and it's obvious what he chose. I don't know where he is now. His love must have not been very strong to begin with if he had no trouble choosing that path. Giovanna turned her attention back to Ashili. I don't mean to bore you with this. I don't know why you would like to know any of it anyhow. From experience, most people don't like to hear these types of personal experiences anyhow about other people...

Arashi laughed softly, reaching to unplug the mats and turn the game off. I'm sorry, I'll choose something better that the both of us can do, she said, shoving them back in her closet. What do you like to do? What are your favorite things? Are you hungry?
Oh no no, you're not boring me at all, Ashili said, shaking her hands in front of her. That's very unfortunate, that your lover decided to go his own way and do his own thing, but you shouldn't question his love, Ashili continued, because you never know how strong it was. Maybe it was just a bad choice on his half, and maybe... you never know, maybe he's looking for you now? I don't know, but... I do like learning about people. It's nice. Getting to know others is a part of life.

I'm sort of hungry, yes. Is there food? Charity asked excitedly. And afterwards, I really don't know. I like to hug people, and talk sometimes. I'm usually by myself, so I don't do much with others... she looked to Arashi and smiled, moving closer. What are your favorite things?
I suppose you're right, Giovanna said to Ashili. I guess I'm just selfish and never thought of it that way. But why would he leave me? Even after our daughter died, he didn't care, or at least...he didn't seem to. She looked away with a blank expression. I don't know...

Yes, there's food, I think Kenichi made food earlier... Arashi said, putting a finger on her lower lip. Hmm... yes, let's go get food, then we can talk about what we're going to do!
Well, it's human nature to be selfish sometimes, so don't be ashamed about feeling like that. People... Ashili started, sighing softly, people do things that seem like good ideas at the time, but regret it afterwards...a lot of the time it seems that they do the wrong things for the right reasons and the right things for the wrong reasons, she offered.
Arashi pulled Charity downstairs, running into the kitchen. She mumbled a polite 'hello' to her mother before making two plates, taking them into the livingroom and putting them on the coffeetable, gesturing for Charity to sit down. I'll get us soda! she chimed happily, running to grab two sodas, promptly returning and sitting down. I brought grape and raspberry, I don't know which kind you would want.

Charity smiled coyly. I really love raspberries, so if you don't mind...? She looked at the plates of food, gasping excitedly. Ohh, it looks so yummy! she exclaimed, grabbing at a piece of tempura, quickly dropping it. Oww...it's hot. Charity frowned and brought her hand up to her mouth, blowing on her fingers.
Giovanna laughed softly. You sound like you know someone like that. In fact, you sound like you know someone like him. She sighed. Do you think I should really believe that; all of what you just said?

Arashi giggled softly. Caaaareful, she said, quickly fixing Charity's fingers with a small kiss. She reached to pick up a piece of tempura herself, blowing on it before taking a bite, swooning at the taste. I don't know why my mom doesn't marry him...
I do know someone like that, Ashili said with a small laugh. Quite a few people, in fact... I can name a lover off the top of my head who does those same things, and always regrets it. The thing is to be patient with love, it's not something that comes easy and smoothly, she said, smiling brightly to Giovanna. I believe everything I just said full heartedly.

Charity blushed at Arashi's kiss, quickly hiding her hand behind herself. Why doesn't your mommy marry him? Is there something wrong with him? she asked curiously, trying the same piece of tempura again. After chewing and swallowing, her face lit up. It's really yummy! she squealed.
I just thought that we had something that was more than love. Something deeper. We had an understanding that wasn't like any normal understanding. We were more than lovers, we were tied by blood. Giovanna sighed. That's not saying we still aren't... I just didn't know how to react to the fact that he didn't do anything about the loss of his daughter. She looked at Ashili, trying to force a smile. I don't care if he didn't love me anymore. He should have shown some kind of remorse for his daughter. Ah...well... Giovanna swayed softly. Let's move on, shall we?

Arashi laughed, eating some of the sushi from her plate. My mom won't marry many people, though she's in love with so many of them, she said with a nod. I think it's sweet, though, how many she loves, who love her in return. Such sweet things are so wonderful.
I understand, Ashili said softly, looking to the clock. She smiled softly as she heard a door in the kitchen open, a man coming out for some food. He was only in underwear, he got himself a bowl of rice and some sake, moving back into the darkened room. She looked to Giovanna and sighed. So, are you finished, or would you like some more to eat? Maybe another drink? she asked.

Your mommy won't marry many people? Charity asked, tilting her head. So does she marry some people then? She happily chomped on some more tempura. I think love is special. I want to be just like your mommy! I want lots of love from lots of people, she went on, nodding. Arashi, do you love me? she giggled.
Giovanna smiled politely, shaking her head. No thanks, that was enough for me. Thank you very much though, she said. You're too kind. She shifted in her seat, looking at Ashili with a smile. So...

Arashi giggled softly, choking on some rice. She looked to Charity and smiled brightly. My mom does marry some people, yes! And they're mostly really cool people. I don't get along with some of mom's choices... she said with a slight glare in thought of some of her sibling's parents. Buuuut, yes! Love is special! Lots of love from lots of people does sound good... she tilted her head in thought. Of course I love you, Charity. You're a really cool person, and I'm so glad we're friends!
Ashili nodded to Giovanna. You're very welcome, she said, scooting her seat out and coming to a stand. Well, if you'd like, you could join me in my bedroom for a while?

Good! Charity exclaimed, moving right next to Arashi so that she was almost in the other girl's lap. I love you too, she whispered before planting a quick kiss on Arashi's cheek, giggling.
If it's too late, I wouldn't want to keep you up. Certainly you have sleeping patterns? I wouldn't want to ruin those. Giovanna stood as well, lightly smoothing out the front of her dress. However, other than that, I really don't know what to do. I hope I'm not intruding?

Arashi laughed softly, blushing an attractive shade of pink as she laughed, shoving a piece of sushi in Charity's mouth. I'm glad to hear that, Arashi said with a nod, leaning back against the couch with a piece of shrimp tempura in her hand.
Ashili smiled softly to her guest, shaking her head. Nonsense, my sleeping patterns are hardly regular, she said, gesturing for Giovanna to follow her. We can hang out in my bedroom until you wish to go to sleep, then I'll either show you to the guest room, or let you make any other decisions you see fit, she said, beginning to walk up the stairs.

Charity quickly chewed and swallowed it, sticking her tongue out. Meh, that wasn't as tasty... she half-whined. I like the yellowy golden stuff more better! She bounced in place, looking to Arashi. So now when we finish, what do we do?
Giovanna followed Ashili up the stairs. If you wouldn't mind, I would rather stay in a guest room. I'm still not familiar with the Underground. I hope to visit some more places soon enough though. I wouldn't know where to go if I couldn't stay here, honestly. She put her hands behind her back and nodded. I just hope I don't bore you!
