Mistress gave a ghost of a smile at Rykuu's confident proclamation. Best ninja, huh... well, she hated to admit it, but yes. On second thoughts. Karite Wolvine probably was her best ninja after Haru.
"It looks fetching on you," she offered. It wasn't anything more than a superficial compliment, but it was actually pretty darn nice of Mistress considering how she was like normally.
"Well.." she pondered his question and got up. "Normally, Batou would do all of this... forgive me, I'll have to look around." She disappeared, and reappeared quickly with documents in hand. She also had a pair of spectacles on now to see the small text clearly.
"Well... most of the units in the housing district are still empty. Just head over there and pick one, and tell me which one. Unless you'd like to tell me now, but I don't mind. As for your sensei, I think he's on a mission now. Why don't you go home and get used to your new home first? Maybe..." Mistress' gaze turned to Haru. "Haru, would you mind escorting this young man to Wolvine when they return?"

Haru bowed to Mistress and began exiting her office. "Come child" He announced. He began to wonder what Lady Mistress had in mind for this boy. Would she want him to be tested as usual or have him jump straight into training. He kept quiet, not to question her motives though.

rykuu quickly followed suite and ran after the young man escorting him to wolverine. The excitement built up in his body making the adrenaline pulse with the flow of adrenaline the ability to sense using the bathroom came in and he to hold it till he got to his new housing quarters due to the fact he didnt want to disturb the process

Haru returned from escorting the child to his new home. "I have returned my lady Mistress." He announced when he entered her office. He then stepped forward and knelt down on one knee, bowing his head.

"What would you have me do next my lady?" Haru asked still kneeling to Mistress. Since he became her knight he was expecting that he would actually be protecting her. However, there weren't any resistances or anyone else that wanted to attack her. He wasn't complaining though, Haru was pleased that no harm had come to his queen. Yet, there was his thirst for battle and blood. He obviously wasn't able to quench it here.

It had taken Hiru a while to find the place. He had never been here or even met the Kage in the past… he probably was a bit intimidated at the idea of meeting her. Very timidly, he pushed the front door open, slowly, trying to see if someone was going to chase him off the grounds because he wasn’t supposed to be there. He walked very carefully throughout the halls of the building, until he saw a pair of finely crafted doors that must have been the entrance to the Kage’s office. Close to the door, there were scrolls on display showing the available missions in the village. Hiru read down the list and a particular mission caught his attention. It was something about scrubbing a gigantic fish tank. Even though it wasn’t something that seemed particularly exciting, it was perfectly suited for him. It could help him develop his physical strength, his swimming ability and his ability to spot things which seemed pretty lacking after his last exercise with mean-sensei…
He knocked on the door twice before pushing it open and slid his head in the slim opening, trying not to intrude too much on the Mistress’s privacy.
“Miz.. Mizukage ? I read about the missions on the list here… C-could I maybe do the washing the fish tank thing?”, he timidly asked, still pretty much standing in the hall.

Mistress was just about to reply Haru, that she didn't really have anything yet, when a child came in.
"Washing the fish tank?" she echoed Hiru and checked the mission lists. Ah.. there it was. A simple D-ranker, and this kid looked plucky enough to do it. It would contribute to the treasury no matter how small. Mistress gave her assent with a curt nod.
"Go ahead," she said dismissively. She checked the paper again, and said, "Here's the address," handing it to Hiru.
Meanwhile... a messenger was running full speed to the Kage's office..

Hiru smiled when he saw how receptive the Kage was, he wasn't expecting to get his mission so quickly. Without losing anytime, he walked to the Kage's desk and took the piece of paper that was handed to him.
In a flash, Hiru ran out of the office nearly yelling "Thank you Mizukage!" as he dashed through the halls.

After a few hours, Hiru walked back into the tall building he'd come to to pick up this mission. He was still soaking wet from his last task and covered with the filth he had worked so hard to get out of the aquarium.
He walked down the hall and right to the Mizukage's office. Since Hiru was pretty tired, most of the stress and timidity he had the last time he came here were pretty much supressed. He walked right into the office and said:
"Mizukage-sama! I'm done with the task now. It reeealy wasn't easy but I've still pulled it off!"
Hiru was just standing in the middle of the room, dripping all over the floor with a huge smile on his face. He was so proud and happy just to have been trusted with something he thought was important.

About an hour passed since Hiru had been given the mission. The messenger carefully picked his way through the dense woods of the forest before finally reaching the Kage office. Which Mistress was thinking of pulling down and relocating. Seriously, what sort of genius made the control tower of the village so damn hard to reach?
Anyway, the messenger was one of Mistress' spies, with news from the west. The urgency of the news was immediately conveyed through his body language and gaze and Mistress nodded immediately to let him speak.
"Kage-sama, there has been a disturbance in the Wind Country," the messenger began, before swallowing and expelling his news in a rush. "Kazekage-sama, the Wind Master, is dead. It is believed that the Earth Master is responsible. She seems extremely instable right now. She could be-"
"-heading to Kiri at this very moment," Mistress breathed, interrupting him. Her eyes were wide open as she thought of the possibilities of what could happen. "When was this?" she rapped out to the messenger who promptly answered. So that gave them 1 day at least and a week at most...
"Thank you," she eventually said to the messenger. "You may go. I want you to continue gathering information on Rain." Bowing, the messenger retreated, and Mistress turned to Haru. She was just about to give him his orders again when Hiru walked in. This boy really had a talent for interrupting things, maybe she could use him as a spy or undercover agent in the future. Mistress forced herself to take deep breaths and make it seem like nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Here's your payment," she said and tossed him a bag that she had already set on the table in anticipation of his return. "Go. It's late," she explained in an effort to make him leave quicker.

Reports would begin to flood into the kage's tower. After all, something like this doesn't happen and go unnoticed. Rain could just picture the amount of bustling activity going on in the tower right now. She pictured the entire area to be like one giant ant mound with Mistress as the old, decrepid queen ant. She saw all the Kiri shinobi running backa nd forth into the tower giving status reports and getting their orders. To be honest, she wished she would have gone herself but no...even in her insanity she knew that to charge the tower by herself would be insane. So of course, she sent her pawns in to handle things first.
The guards of the tower would be thick as this was the home of their leader. But of course, so would the army she sent. Almost all of Rain's faithful servents would be sent in first. Many were shinobi from various villages that she had passed through, the most of which being Suna ninja. They wore their Sand headbands proud. To one who didn't know, they'd swear this was an attack on Kiri by Suna. Maybe the Wind Master had turnned on Mistress? Maybe they were rouge agents? Whoe knew? All the defenders of the mound knew were that they had a massive task ahead of them.
The army, at last count before the harbor attack was at least somewhere in the 2 or 3 thousands thanks to Rains various trips to multiple towns and ninja villages. Everyone pulled their weight as well. Thouse that could fight did so valiently...and if you couldn't...well you gave your life valiently as a human sheild or the carrier of huge amounts of paperbombs. Either way, everyone did their part to strike at the heart of Kiri. With no leader, the village was sure to fall.
To be honest, Rain knew this probably wouldn't kill Mistress. All she relaly wanted was for the defenses to be broken and thus, Mistress would have to come out and track Rain down for a fight if she wanted the assault to stop. After all, Rain already had dozens of new recruits waiting to be constripted in the form of Kiri citizens. No one could escap her Coils...

[ gonk crying That was fast!! i thought I could sneak in a Treat Injury lesson for my students!!]
It was just so like Rain in the urgency and the sloppiness of the attack, Mistress later reflected when she had the time to.
"Kage-sama! A torrent of mud has hit our Harbor!"
"Many Sunagakure ninja identified heading right here!"
"Wolf says that he saw a woman riding the mud wave!"
"It's hectic! The woman's in the village right now!"
And of course the screams and clanging of metal on metal as the fight finally got here. The genjutsu forest had only deterred a small part of the invaders, and the invaders didn't fight with the caution that Mistress' people did. (After all, they were duty-bound not to wreck the place with area-razing jutsu, but Rain's shinobi had no such qualms.)
Mistress could hear the army coming from her and from the sound of it she could estimate the raw size of it. Her shinobi, her knights, were being subdued through sheer force of numbers. She had to act. But this had come too soon. She'd had barely an hour of notice. The sound of screams had suddenly gotten so much more familiar and normal, and Mistress acted.
"Haru!" she ordered. "Stay here, I give you free reign to kill all enemy shinobi here. Search and destroy, although you won't need to do much searching." And with that, she was gone. To find, and put an end to the source of all this destruction. Already Mistress was thinking of the amount of time, money and effort that would be needed to repair Kirigakure. Was this a premature form of arrogance, assuming that she would be around to oversee that? Only future events would tell.
[Shunshin no Jutsu used...
Don't worry Brommy I will be spawning loads of enemy NPC shinobi for Haru to cleave his way through ^_^

Haru didn't even have a chance to reply. He wanted to stay by his queen's side and battle the earth master along side her but she ordered him to stay in the tower and kill all who tried to enter. He wanted to follow her orders but her safety came first above all else. Instead, Haru dashed down the tower and stood in front of the tower's entrance chopping down anyone who crossed him. "VERMIN! IT IS FUTILE TO OPPOSE MISTRESS!" Haru shouted into the crowds of soldiers.
