Rayla sighed and walked out of Kris' room. Everyone had left, and she didn't want to just sit in someone elses room alone. She walked by Sanji and Scott without any acknowledgment and went straight to the upper deck. She found Joker leaning against the railing and yawning. She smiled and slowly walked over to him.
"You...seem tired. Maybe... you should rest..?"

He looked at Rayla and waved a hand dismissivly,"Nope, it's my turn to stand watch tonight." He yawned,"And truth be told, I'm not tired, I just find this really tedious." He sighed before popping his neck loudly. "So, you see to have something on your mind. Wanna talk about it?"

Sanji smirked at Kris, in between him and Scott.
"I wouldn't know, haven't been outside much. I'm guessing yes though."
He chuckled and removed her arm from his neck. He rolled his shoulder until he heard a satisfying pop.
"What have you been up to lately?"

Rayla smiled feintly at Joker and shook her head. She sat on the railing and let her feet dangle, kicking them back and forth.
"No...nothing to talk about...just giving my company.."
She swallowed and gave him a strange look.
"Is that...alright?"

Rayla gasped and blushed, nearly falling off the railing. She stabled herself and turned away.
"Oh, stop...you....you really think...I'm beautiful..?"
She blushed again and fidgeted on the railing.

Kris' dagger cracked his skull again. "Look, you bloody git, I'm trying to give you some company, and you just toss me aside? Hmm...I guess friendship has forsaken these lands..."
She sighed, letting her chin rest on the railing. "I don't know where Gill has gone to. He lied...to me...he lied to all of us. He's not telling us things that we should know...I'm doubting my trust in him...who knows, maybe I'm being used..."

He leaned back a little,"Look who cares what I think." He pointed out to the ocean. "Do you know how many people have hated the ocean over the centurys?" He looked up to her,"And if the ocean really cared it would have dried up so many times." He laughed,"Well I guess my point is, it doesn't matter what people think, or say. Just be yourself and good things will come your way."

Sanji rubbed the back of his head and growled.
"Damnit woman, i was accepting your company!"
He closed his eyes and nodded, letting Kris' words sink in. It was only slightly ironic that it involved the same conversation that he and Scott had.
"Yes, Scott and I were just discussing that. However, you do seem to be the special link in the group. You're close to Gill, even though he might stray from us. You're close to Scott and I, even though we might not be the best company. And you're close to Joker and the women, which seem to relate to you better then the others. In a way, you are being used."

Rayla bit her lip and tapped her fingers on the railing. She sighed and looked at the Joker, smiling feintly.
"Thanks...but..."
She sighed again and shook her head.
"I cant... tell how many times i've told myself that...I just...have something holding me back...I'm too doubtful...My heart is saying yes all the way...but my mind disagrees..."

He stood up and looked down at her with a girn he snatched the hat right off her head. "Well, I guess sometimes you just need a bit of help." He laughed and threw the hat over the railing. "Let yourself hang out eveyonce in awhile, I promise you'll feel better for it."

"The only reason why I get along with people is because I don't let anything get to me. I'm only close to Gill because I've known him for a while, you seem like a good allie, I owe Scott so much from before, Joker's just a nice guy, and the girls...well...they're girls."
She sighed, and fixed her ponytail. "Yes, but not in the way that you're thinking of. I could be bait...or a sacrifice for a greater cause. I like to always know what's going on. That's why I don't like secrets that are kept from me."

Rayla nearly fainted as her ears twitched up and her silver hair cascaded around her. She watched in shock as her hat flew gently into the water, being lost in the dark depths. She reached her hand up to slap him, but she convinced herself he was only trying to help. She buried her face in her hands.
"I...don't feel any better...I feel...bare.."

Sanji chuckled and shook his head. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and sighed.
"Well, you won't be sacrificed while I'm watching. No one will, I'll make sure of it. Even if it meant the destruction of VILLAIN, no one is dying while I watch them. Not going to happen..."
He folded his arms and smirked.
"And thats the way it is.."
