Marco jumped, "There's nothing wrong with my shoulder!" He raced off to the closest room and locked the door. Moments later he burst out of the room and out onto the lawn, "AH! Sock puppets!"
Horo laughed as Marco took off down the street, "I actually feel bad for that guy."
"Well then," Ren said sternly, "since that problem has been taken care of someone can fill up that hole."
Horo glared at Ren, "Why don't you do it. You're the only one who's complaining about it."

"Ah, well, never mind then, Shizuka. I hope someone takes care of him, he's going to be really sore in about a half-hour. As for the hole, I'll do it. If the small Chinese boy noticed a pot hole, God knows Anna will." Faust turns so that no one will see his twitching eye.

"Small Chinese boy!?" Ren glared at Faust, "You know damn well what my name is!"
"Geez Ren," Horo laughed, "Relax or your hair is going to skyrocket and break Anna's roof."
Ren became so furious his face turned red.
Horo sweatdropped, "Man, where's Jun when you need her...?"

"Calm down," warns Faust coolly, "or you could rupture a blood vessel. One is standing out quite prominently in your temple."
Manta enters, looking worn out. "Faust, lay off. If Ren is small, what does that make me?"
Faust's expession softens. "When I was your age, I was shorter than you, Manta. You're still growing, don't lose heart!" Obviously enjoying himself, he turns back to Ren. "Do you know, Ren, that there is a new study in Sweden suggesting that the kind of milk you drink stunts growth?"

Horo snorted a quick laughed, "Uh-oh, here it comes..."
"WHAT!?" Ren shouted, "And just how would you know what kind of milk I'm drinking!?" He cooled down a bit to smoothly spit out, "It's nice to know you admire me, Faust, but please don't stalk me."
Horo sweatdropped, "I hope Anna doesn't hear any of this, or Ren will be mopping the floor."

"Well," sighs Faust, "the way you stock the entire refridgerator with your milk, anyone who opens it knows what kind of milk you drink. And you of course know there was only ever ONE person I stalked on any level."
"Faust," Manta snickers, "I think Horo said something about Anna making Ren mop the floor."
Faust = biggrin "Anna will make someone else work? Instead of me? Make Ren angrier, Horo!"

With some sort of newfound respect for Faust, Shizuka poked at Ren's pointy hair, seeing if it would sling back to it's original position when she no longer had physical contact with it. As soon as she found her prediction correct, she immediately did it again, oddly amused.

Faust nods with approval. "I like your technique, Shizuka. By the way, I have a theory that the brand of milk Ren drinks, "Glowing Udder Farms," is highly radioactive and responsible for his mutated hair as well as his height."
Manta blushes, watching Shizuka play with Ren's hair. "Hi, I'm Manta. Are you a friend of Yoh and Anna's?"

Shizuka just stared at Manta for a little bit, wondering how someone could be so short. During this time, she continued to poke at Ren's hair. "Shizuka doesn't really know who Yoh and Anna are." Amaya told him. "I guess it's their friends who invited us here. You see, an official never came to test us, so we came to figure out what happened, and someone kindly offered to check with one of them to find out."

Jun finds Ren and smiles while standing behind him. "Getting reacquainted with old friends, Ren?"

*YAY!!!! EMI'S BACK!!! biggrin *
Manta looks sad. "Oh, you can't talk, Shizuka? I'm sorry... it seems like you and your ghost have a good connection, though. I'm jealous. I'm not even a shaman."
"Hello, Jun," Faust says. "You're just in time to see an impressive display of hystrionics, courtesy of your brother."

"I beg to differ." Amaya told him. "Anyone who can even see spirits is a shaman, and they surely have potential to do great things with that gift." Shizuka nodded in agreement, still poking Ren's hair, but paying much less attention to his rising fury.

"Well, I have to go. Marco might get hurt in the 'Real' World. See you later. Ciao" said Jeanne as she return the empty glass to Tamao and left the house.
"Hmm. Ok I have the cement mixture. Anybody want to pour it" said Tamao while putting chunks of meat into the Humongus pot.

"Wow... that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me all day. Aside from Faust's professional opinion about my height." says Manta, smiling at Shizuka.
Faust clears his throat. "Thank you, Tamao. Say, Ren, do you know what builds strength and nullifies the damaging effects of cow radiation? Pouring cement. Which is why I think this bucket is good for you."

Shizuka smiled back, choosing not to ruin anything with words, incase what she wanted to say would get this kid depressed again. She liked it when she made others happy, but only some others. Like she enjoyed annoying Ren. His reactions were quite 'animated'.
