Storm laughed at Kibo's comment.
"You? Hold your liqor as well as a Drow? Perish the thought!"
She turned to Nini again, grinning.
"Sadly, this is all to real. Kibo over there can really raise the dead and your really not drunk. At least not enough to to create hullusations such as him. And Farind, I don't think Nini here much appricates a dead man slobering all over her hand, as handsome as you may have been in life."

Nini paused. Her past? There were so many people that she had thought she'd never get to see again. After her mother died and her father started abusing her, she had sunk into her miserable life and never thought that she would ever get out. But now so many possibilities came swooping down on her, and she was stunned. "Can you bring back anybody? Like my mother? Or my friends?" She turned to Farind. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I was just shocked that's all. I'm pleased and...a little surprised...to meet you." She smiled.

Storm smiled to herself and took a small sip from her bottle. Some people were just to easy to read.
"He probley could, but only for about a year. But no matter what you might feel like today, tomorrow or even a year from now, yes you'll feel worse when they go back. But better to have loved and lost then not to have loved at all? This is somthing you must find out for yourself."

Kibo: Bah! You say I do devil's work? True Necromancy does not work like that. With True Necromancy, the spirits live with energy from my own body. That's why if I summon too many spirits, I get exhausted, like with Forn. Putting the spirits into objects takes much of the strain from me, but it's still there. However, it allows me to keep living souls for as long as I need, for as many times as I need.

Nini paused at Storm's comment. It was true. She would feel worse if someone she had loved was brought back, only to be lost again. "I suppose it would be something like losing them twice, wouldn't it?" She sighed. "I think I'll just live with the happy memories instead of making it sadder for myself." She smiled softly and turned to Kibo. "When would I start working on your ship?...Whichever ship I end up on."

Storm frowned.
"No one ever said Necromancy was devil's work, sir. Besides, why would you want to have the dead following you around like lost pups? I'm sure it scares away many woman who would of other wise wished to spend the night with you."
Storm grinned and finished off her drink. She pointed a finger at it and muttered a few words. The glass of the bottle melted down into glittereing gem dust. Storm took out a small bag jsut for this purpose and calmly started to sweep the dust into the bag.

Kibo chuckled at Storm's comment, and then turned to Nini.
Kibo: Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, we have just added a new ship to our posession. We haven't really thought of a name, but it's a fine ship. Would you like to serve on that?

Nini watched the conversation going back and forth between Kibo and Storm. They seem so comfortable with each other. I wonder how long it will take me to get used to this... She jumped slightly when Kibo finally addressed her. "Oh, um, sure I suppose. I don't know anything about these ships...so I'll leave it up to you. I'm fine with just about anything."

Kibo grins.
Kibo: Well, why not have a look at your new ship?
Kibo gets up, and offers a hand to Nini.

Storm snorts and waved anyway Kibo.
"Oh sure, don't mind the elf. She'll be fine in a bar full of deprived pirates. We still need a lieutenant for Forn's ship, by the way. Maybe she's the one?"
Storm jerked her chin in Nini's direction.

Gwendolyn turns away, bored. She grabs a bottle of rum and sits down on a nearby chair watching the whole scene. Meh, I think I've with Tia Dalma for a little too long. There seems to be not enough action here. More quarelling raiding. Ah well. Gwendolyn takes another sip of rum and remains where she is.

Kibo sighs.
Kibo: Women. You just can't please 'em.
He chuckles at himself, and helps Nini up before walking over to Storm.
Kibo: Would you like a hand?
He holds out his hand, smiling slightly.

Storm shook her head.
"I have someone to meet in here in a few minuets anyway. Sweet water and Light Laughter until we meet again, Commadore."
She grinned and glanced around the loud and noisy taveren.

Kibo chuckled, and turned to leave, making sure Nini was following before leaving the tavern.
