I've been studying Japanese for a couple of months now, I can write in Hiragana, and sort of in Katakana. All in all I still have a long way to go. If there's someone fluent in the language I'd be happy to have a tutor, I can't really find any. Thank you.

xO_SaMmIe_Ox Saaku Yay! Finally!! ^^ Hi everyone, my name is Saaku. I am currently trying to learn japanese on my own because there's no place where I can learn it where I live. I'm not doing so good currently, because there's so much work for school, but the moment the summer vacation starts I'm going to pull my self together and learn something useful ^^ You too?! lol, I thought I was the only one! biggrin lolz.Same here!

hi, my name is erica, and i've been studying japanese off and on for about 3 years, i have forgot a lot of what i have already learned so will have to relearn it, but i pretty much know all the basics. for as long as i have been studying (i'm also self taught like so many others) i feel i should know more than i already do. i just joined this guild and am hoping to learn a little more a little faster. it's nice to see so many people with the same interest in learning japanese as me, most of my family aside from my younger sister, think that my goal to learn how to speak japanese is stupid and useless, but i don't feel that way. i live in the u.s. where it is more efficient to learn spanish than japanese, but i don't want to learn spanish, i have no use for it. i love anime and i love j-rock and would like to be able to understand the language. plus it would really piss my grandma off (and she's a really mean person, trust me).
no, i'm not learning japanese just to piss off my grandma, that's just an extra benefit!

Hi. I just joined. I know little to no Japanese.
My name is Kyo_fan_for_life (real name: Jessy), but I wouldn't mind being called Kyo... whee heart
I know what kawaii means, but that's only cause I've seen it used in many posts in other forums, in relation to Kyo mostly, but also in relation to antics/pics/vids of the other guys.
I'm hoping to do very well learning the language.
