Reck came out of his frozen position after Kisoku threw a senbon at the dress and ripped it in two in almost an instant and quickly sat dowin in Kisoku's seat like nothing happened. He then turned to the waitress, smiled, and made his order.
"Allo. And can I have some fried pork please? No drink for me."

Kei did her best to smile at the waitress. "I'll take my usual chicken ramen and water please." As the waitress walked off with their orders, Kei turned to Kisoku. "Are you sure you're ok? That poison isn't affecting your appatire, is it?" She said the last part in a whisper... she didn't wish to draw attention.

Kisoku sighed, not caring if people heard about his predicament in the least. It wasn't like people weren't staring anyways- the dress incident made sure of that. "It could be a possibility, but...I'm not so sure. I think it could just be an off day. I haven't been sleeping very well, so it could just be my body's way of protesting my current habits."

Kei gave him a sympathetic look as the waitress put their food on the table. She gave him a hug before she started eating.

Reck sat back in his chair and watched as Kisoku told Kei about his recent injury and she showed him sympathy. The waitress put their food on the table placing his order of meat infront of him but he acted like he didn't even notice staring off into space thinking about what he was supposed to do about Kei's boyfriend and his little attitude towards him.

Kei saw Reck from the corner of her eye. Smirking to herself she whipered to Gomma to eat Reck's food since he wasn't paying attention. Served him right for not getting Gomma his rice, no?

Gomma flew over to Recks plate and started to eat his food right under his nose. After afew seconds passed, he looked down at Gomma eating his food and raised an eyebrow to it but lowered it again and just looked at Gomma eat his food slowly.

Kei tried not to laugh and was doing quite well. She still couldn't suppress a smile though. Thoughts passed through her head as she watched the scene.

Reck turned his head toward Kei and gave her a bland look like he wasn't aware that he was there.
"Hey Kei. Can I ask you a question?"

Kei's expression straightened. "Yeah... sure bro, what do you want to know...?" She leaned forward an inch and picked up her chopsticks. Swirling them in her Ramen she got a good amout and placed it in her mouth. She waited for him to speak.

The expression in Reck's eyes turned to a dark emotionless color.

Kei nearly choked on her food. "But... Reck, you're an excellent Shinobi... I mean... the only reason I joined the academy was to prove my mother wrong about shinobi, of course we all see how well that worked out... she died cursing me to the pits of hell... but I guess I'm still here cuz I like being a Kunoichi of Iwa and I have people I care about that I wish to protect. What are you thinking about doing...?"

Reck looked down at Gomma still eating his food and sat for afew seconds before responding to Kei with a low monotone voice.
"...n-nothing. Forget I said anything."
He reached out and pet Gomma on the top of his shell to which he fluttered his wings a bit and nodded a little which made Reck smile a little.

Kei was getting very concerned. "We'll talk about it later then...?" What was going on...? She had another one of those bad feelings... and they were always right...Like when Rai died... and when her mother returned... she just wished she could help...

Kisoku took one look at his food, and his stomach nearly rebelled. He kept his previous meals down, though, through an effort. He picked up his chopsticks, and began to eat his rice grain by grain, politely ignoring what seemed to be a personal conversation between Kei and her brother.
