HelterSkelterX Um...yeah, I got randomly bored on day and ended up making this topic. I don't know how many people in this guild are drummers, but then again, I'm also relatively new. I've discovered that playing snare in marching band (which is what I happily do) is a lot harder than it seems, for me anyway. I started drumming with I was 4, which by all rights should've make it easier right? Nope? I started in colonial fife and drum, and then I played the trumpet all the way through middle school. I've been in the fife and drum scene for a long time, so I'm used to reading Swiss music. Yeah...so marching band music is in no way, shape, or form the same. Why can't there be more rudimental drummers out there?! im s drummer whee

I've been in drumline since 5th grade. I luv it with all my heart. It always seems that there are no girl drummers in the world. All the boys always ignore me. They think I'm weak, stupid, or something. Are drummers like that everywhere (no affence to all the guys)? Drumline is alot of work! This year I played 3rd bass. I beleive that I'm tring for snare this year. What about anyone else? smile

I challanged her and I was center my junior. Senior year ima try out again. ANYWAYS lol we have like 3 girls in our drumline and 8 guys. we are chill with eachother. All it is is hard work. Like rudiments. I came from bass to snare in two years. lol. goodluck with snare.
