Hi, I'm KMarie. 23ish. I've been a phan of Phantom since 95. I was in the seventh grade when I discovered the music, because of the jazz band at the middle. One of my friends was in the jazz band, and had the entire play on tape. We listened to it in one sitting one night.

I was hooked. biggrin

Asked at the library for a copy of the book, because I had to read the story this awesome musical was based on. They had a copy for people learning how to read to read, and my mom thought that would be enough. HA! The very smart librarian told my mother that no, I didn't want that copy. The copy I wanted would take a few days to get there, but I would have it in no time.

We went back a few days later, and I became completely engrossed in the world of the Phantom of the Opera. I completely sympathized with Erik. I fell head over heels in love with Christine. I thought that the Meg of the book was a complete brat but wanted to be best friends with Meg from the musical.

I was able to Phantom on Broadway when I was in the eleventh grade.

I saw Phantom again in Birmingham a few years later.

I've recently seen the movie, which I adore.

That's me. Phantom Phan till the end.

Other than that, I'm a senior at the Univeristy of Montevallo. I'm majoring in Costume Design. I love X-men, anime, and fan fic.

Hi. My name is Novembere A. Shadows, though I prefer to be called Nova. I love Phantom of the Opera, espically the music. I am using the music to help me improve my range (currently I'm an alto working to become a soprano...don't ask.)

Ahoy there!

As you can probably tell by the fact that I joined this guild, I am completely obsessed with Phantom of the Opera. I strained for quite a while to expand my vocal range to the point where I can now hit every note Gerald Butler hits in the movie. I actually keep having this recurring daydream where our music director lets us do Phantom as our school musical next year, and I get the part, and I get insanely happy, yadda yadda yadda...

Anyway, never got the chance to see it on Broadway, though I hope to make it to NY soon, and I have plans to see the new $40 million version opening Spring 2006 at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas.

I'm 16 and can sing in a manner that I personally describe as "not half-bad." Currently, I have a group of 3 friends (four including myself) that are totally obsessed with Phantom as well.

Okay, so I'm Mariah and I'm 14. I'm going to be 15 on October 20th. I'm obsessed with music, Broadway, and Phantom. I sing beautifully, so I'm told, and I think I'd agree, and my teachers say I really need to do Broadway auditions.
This month, I'm doing an audition for a professional musical theatre that my sis got for me. They're going to do Sleepy Hollow and I'm going to audition with either "Think of Me" or "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again."

I'm KisaMeg. I am obsessed with Phantom. Two of my sisters got me hooked on it. One had the Crawford/Brightman soundtrack and the book, both saw the play (at different times) and told me all about it. I read the book the first time in 7th grade and I wrote an essay on it in 9th grade after reading it in two days. I love the ALW movie version, I still need to get it. I love the music and the story and.... Gerard Butler whee heart *phantom phangirl squeel* I also have a book about the play, and it has the entire script in the back.

Hi! My name is Betty and I'm 19 years old. Just like everyone here, I'm a big Phantom Phan!! I'm quite new though... I've heard of Phantom years ago, but I didn't get a chance to listen to the music nor see the play. A few weeks ago, I finally watched the Joel Schumacher film and... I'm obssessed with it ever since! heart I bought the DVD almost immdiately after, and I just got the movie OST and the original London cast CD's today! Nothing I've ever watched has touched me, moved me, or send shiver to my spine like Phantom had. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA RULES!!!! 4laugh I can't believe that I've missed out on it for all those years. I plan to make up for it in the future to come, though. I hope that the real Phantom opera will be showing in Vancouver soon. crying

Hello, my name is Amanda, but most people I talk to call me Christine and ErikA.
I'm 15, part of a huge opera chorus in Canada, currently in Advanced ballet, and a serious Phan Obsessor.

My mom says it's not healthy. 4laugh

I saw the play when I was six and recently became a obsessor after seeing the movie. Horrible way to start, I know, I know.

I'm planning to go to New York before Christmas to shop for dance stuff and go see POTO, and faint in the Phantom-ie goodness.

Okay, I'm done. ninja
