"Oh yes..." Otogi mused, then jerked his head to a rustling in the trees. "I think there's someone else here." he notified Seto, sending out a few of his mage-like feelers.

Jou let himself relax, watching the two strangers walk closer and then a little ways past him, without so much as a glance in his direction. He may have been a warrior at heart... but he wasn't in the mood for fighting at the moment. Eating, yes. Fighting, not so much. He held still, only twitching a little when he felt a strange shiver up his spine. The hand on his sword's hilt tightened. Feeling like he was being watched didn't exactly strike his fancy.

"Thank you Yugi." Ryou said looking up and offering Yugi a samll and beautiful smile. I wish he realized how much this means to me. Ryou though to himself. I wish he knew I've fallen from heaven not because of the kiss but becasue I knew I could not be with him should I have remained an angel. . . perhaps my own feathers will grow black like those of my beloved brother.

Marik didn't jump from the pain. He laughed. "There you go, good boy. Do it again, if you wish. You can vent on me..." He had a bizarr look in his eyes.

The animalistic growl in his throat grew deeper. "Shut up." He hissed, hands wrapping around the faerie's neck. "Just shut up!"
He stepped closer, rage clearly visible in the darkening mood-black of his eyes.

"Just wait until you get to know me more..." Yugi muttered, trying not to let the dejection slip into his voice. He has no clue what he's getting involved in. Yugi thought to himself. Once he sees just how demons are he change his mind quickly.
"Well, no point sitting here all day." He said as he hop back into his feet. "First thing you need to learn about me is that I get restless easy, so you better get used to walking."

Otogi snapped his head in the direction of the trees when his feelers felt something. He then scaled the oak (though not very gracefully at all) to find a blonde warrior sitting in the branches.
"Hello there." he grinned. "Why all the lurking about? You hardly seem a mercenary or anything of that sort."

Immeadiately, the hand on Jou's sword tightened and unsheathed it's weapon; a rather plain blade, but nonetheless effective. He turned to face the source of the voice, almost losing his balance and having to grab out at another branch to keep himself stable. Returning the grin, Jou tried looking as genial as possible with a sword still in his hand. "Yeah, well... call me a little paranoid, but I got a little suspicious after bein' alone in the woods all day, and then suddenly finding a bunch of people... doing..." he paused for a moment, looking over the mage curiously, "what are you all doing out here, anyway?"

Standing gracefully Ryou nodded. "I do not mind walking. . . since I no longer have wings I imagine I'll have to get used to it anyway." He said attempting to make a small joke.

"Just the usual mage-ly duty." Otogi responded easily, running a finger along the flat part of the blonde's sword. "Just a little paranoid, hmm?" The raven-haired young man smirked a little.
"I was also bored out of my mind, but that doesn't last for long in this place."
