But that would be so boring.

...and plus it would retro-actively make all the years I've spent learning French and Spanish totally futile. gonk

I love what a complete mess English is, though. Say what you like about prescriptivism (and I frequently do), l'Académie Française has managed to keep French 'beautiful' and spelling fairly consistent, if not intuitive.

English is just like "screw it, we started as like fifteen languages all smushed together, and that's the way we plan to go on!", largely ignoring the plaintive cries of the OED. Not to mention the Great Vowel Shift pretty much screwed us as far as consistent spelling anyway.

omg, most traumatizing day of school ever since 1st grade burning_eyes

in gym class today we were playing kickball and a girl fell down. we thought she was fine because it wasnt that bad of a fall but then she wasnt getting up...then someone said that she dislocated her knee and i could see that from all the way across the field eek her knee cap was jutting out the wrong way! the whole class got freaked out even though there wasnt any blood....she ended up going to the hospital sweatdrop
next we were talking about mentruation in bio followed by my monster global test gonk and after lunch was a math test on top of this...

wow scary stuff stressed

Oh, no! gonk I've never broken a bone before. They say it really hurts. But I've been through labor, so I think I could take it. xp

The French helped my country be able to read and write out language. You can read it like english, not just a bunch of symbols.

I know some sign language, but my favorite is Japanese... I know a few things in Japanese. It's almost a perfect language. NO room for misinterpretation at all when your conversing back and forth. There's words for EVERYTHING. I wish my school taught Japanese when I was in school. emo

I wish they taught Vietnamese. I mean I think I would do pretty good and anyways I need to learn to read and write it better. They have it in Westminster..... where Little Saigon is. rolleyes

I have to do so many sheets. I never get anything done in class because people keep talking. Today I finished two sheets because everyone was quiet.
