She suddenly hugged him as tightly as she could manage, hiding her blush at actually voiceing that thought. "Do you still smile?" she asked him, sounding seconds away from crying again.

Neko pulled away from Asmodai, and went adn sat on her bead, her braid flopping next to her. She half hugged herself, not wanting to face the reality. So this was the real Asmdoai, not the one she had coem to knwo and love. She shock of it would ahve sent her to tears, if she had had any left.

"It doesn't matter anymore." She muttered, sounding angry, but at herself, not at Asmodai. "And it's not like it was your fault. You did go tell that oni to kidnap me or anything." She sighed, anger still in her voice. "Damn shadow oni..." She muttered.

"Death is death." Neko said simply, purring slightly and quietly. She put her hand over his, though her was smaller by quite a bit. "But I got out, and I am not going t let that scumbag oni get its hand on me again." She said, her voice full of anger.

Neko was at her computer, typing up something when her era caught a bit of sound.
"Hm?" She asked, cocking her head to one side to catch the sound better while still typing. She had all the lights in teh room on and was twitching ehr tails nervously.
