You wish to know why people are mean to you? Well, I wouldn't say that voting for you to give up is a mean thing, and I will tell you why.

Aurora is a bonafide Mary Sue. That's right, I said it. Put her through the Mary Sue Litmus test? I wasn't even 1/4 done with the test before she was a "Sue On The Loose" and then I just gave up. Let me count the ways?

-Amnesia or some other mental affect? Check.
- Calm, happy, tries to help people to the best of her ability and is OH SO NICE REALLY GUYS but she's stubborn and won't stop AND SHE IS SMART but she won't stop until she's overwhelmed by fatigue.
-Horrible past? Check.
-TWIN SISTER? Check.
- A not-normal name using some kind of noun or verb that is not generally found in a name? CHECK. Come on, sailor, EVENINGSTAR?
- Described as 'beautiful' at least once in the profile? Check, check, double check.
-SPARKLING EYES THAT ALWAYS SHOW LOVE AND HAPPINESS despite her horrible unspeakable past? CHECK! (Because, you know, actually dealing with crap and having bad days is TOTALLY unfun because it causes you to be disliked, AMIRITE?)
- KIDNAPPING? Check.
- A weird nickname? Aura! YAY.
- Mistaken as twin? Check.

Oh, there's more - but I already wish to claw my eyes out. Reading through that was already painful enough (though I lawled quite a bit throughout it).

Want to get on the island? Stop bumping your thread with emotes - it doesn't do anything. Really, it really doesn't. Except maybe annoys people. People like to check threads for updates - after a while, seeing a thread jump and only have an emote on it? Kiiind of annoying. Stop putting up emo polls. It makes the rest of us laugh.

Change Aurora's last name, cut out the twin, modify her past to not be so MYSTERIOUS AND HORRIBLE AND NOT WANTING TO TALK ABOUT IT. Cut out the Amnesia, seriously overhaul her personality - give her flaws. CHARACTER flaws - her scars (Oh I forgot to mention THE SCARS) do not count. And neither do mental disorders like Amnesia or Psychosis or anything like that. They're trite and overdone.

Honestly, I don't know if this concept can be saved. All of it screams Mary Sue and god knows the island doesn't need those. My suggestion? Tear it down and start again. If you want on the island so bad, make an effort. What's wrong with a perfectly normal, average character that doesn't have a horrible unspeakable past and a twin sister who almost gets her killed or whatever.

Sorry to be so harsh but...Well, the truth hurts. Your concept sucks. Royally. If you've been around for a year, you have staying power - kudos to you, seriously. You obviously are dedicated...Dedicate yourself to making a better concept and run with that. Sometimes, even if YOU love a character, you need to realize that a concept simply won't work.

I think that if you put your mind to it, you CAN make a better character. You CAN. Put research into it. Give it life that isn't every cliche rolled into one. You can do it if you try, but honestly, I see this and think "Five minutes, tops." spent on the concept.

Not only that, your grammar and spelling are atrocious. I know mine are not the best either, but at least I take the effort to type intelligently so people can understand what I'm saying. That was yet another reason I almost had to claw myself to finish reading through your quest thread.

I can do that And I did not know about the Bumping I guess I am to used to having a regular quest tread that is not in the guild. I am working on things but I hope that soon it will be better.

I would first like to know what is your definition of Mary Sue and examples that you have and also this

For your information I did a lot of research in to this. And also my spelling and grammar may not be the best and I know that. And that is not my fault I can read over some thing that is grammatically wrong and think it reads thought very clearly. I have dyslexia and ADD and to top that all off is a very bothersome case of anxiety Disorder. That make things like this happen all the time and I will not notice them. And the spelling ooh you will hate this explanation I spell the words by what letters I hear when I say them. If you can not accept any of this then I will have to say you are ignorant and a fool. If there were not people with dyslexia around the world would be a dull place. Dyslexia

I mean your charter looks to be some charter you made up using pieces from your other shop charters. I mean come on a gypsy I mean mine is more realtic and also I know there are Dig sites out there. You know how I know because I did research. And one of my professors teaches and field school out there. Got you again, I learned a lot about it from him. The Amnesia You know how much time I spent on that, No you would not. I hade print outs and tons of pages that I was looking over to make sure I got every thing just right.

As for the bumping the tread well at least my tread is seen by others and I pay attention to it unlike you who leaves there quest tread alone for 6 moths. And the polls I am also nice enough to have a place for people to get a little gold for there quest. And why do I put some things like give up because I am truthful. The Twin idea is one that makes the entire concept understandable it is different than all the others because of this.
