It was just unfortunate timing as a Hunter, a not so sane Hunter, pulled him by the foot down. Immediately several of them followed, like rabid dogs, attacking him violently with blunt weapons. A particularily nasty shovel hit his face, immediately dislocating his jaw. There was a loud crack as a rib, or two, or maybe three broke. Their eyes were a maddening green. They did not stop attacking. carhop cavalier Lex takes -20 damage! For each action he makes until someone rescues him he takes -5 damage and +5 virus. In order to save him, you need to free him from the cumulative mob of 10 HP

Just as Mimi pushed through, a Hunter with glowing green eyes rammed into her, causing her to go nearly flying as she rolled out of pure momentum forward. Something snapped, the pain for a moment was too much for her body to process. She couldn't see. [A.V.] blindness is temporary! Mimi takes -10 damage

Courtyard - Lex
Unfortunate was an understatement, in Lex's opinion. Just as he saw Gale being bodily dragged by the same creeping vines that had woke him up a few hours prior, an incredibly strong arm pulled him down to the hard packed dirt.
The rest was just a mess of screaming, yelling, and pain. The displacement of his jaw sent white firecrackers through his mind and eyes, the cracked ribs like bursts of dynamite rocketing through his nerves. He wanted to vomit, to retaliate, to mow them all down in a rain of gunfire,
But there was no Regal, and there was no shield. His already swelling jaw proved that much.
He took a look at his assailants through the beating, taking note of the glowing green eyes and the mindless behavior - this wasn't them.
"Help!" He managed, trying his best to fend the rabid mob off.

Quinn had overexerted himself a little too much. His body started shaking, uncontrollably, as cold sweat gripped him. He felt a strange pressure grip his chest-
- and then he was on the ground again as his heart stopped for a second time. Lilwolfpard Hi yes Quinn needs help again. A player needs to roll 6d6. If two of those dice match he is saved

It was, of course, right when she said Gale was able to take care of himself, that her cousin decided to make a most dramatic entrance into the courtyard. She would have rolled her eyes if her first instinct hadn't been a flash of indignation and concern.
"We'll meet up with you here my gorgeous arse!" Nora growled, pushing past Evan and disregarding the growing sickness in her as she grasped at the vines and sought to tear them off Gale. Even better, Stormy wasn't around. Brilliant. "That's what happens when you don't listen to me!"

"Chance!" Otto grit his teeth tight as he kicked away someone trying to grab at him again. "The ******** are we gunna do now?" The dorms were completely taken over, and hunters were attacking blindly. Otto's little sickle would do so little... unless he intended to save every individual hunter trapped with vines on his own. But what would that do in the greater scheme of things? He needed to get to the source before they were all killed. But where the ******** was all this coming from? Otto: Virus 9 HP: 46

Courtyard
Lex finally managed to yank a table leg away from one of the mob, panting heavily and feeling more than a little queasy now. The bruise on his jaw grew angrier, blacker, a very large blemish on his otherwise perfect face.
He smacked one of the green eyed Hunters in the head before being taken down by another whack from that same shovel. ******** that shovel.

One second they were hand in hand, the next Gale was wrenched from her grasp. No noise left Stormy as she pursued the vines taking him away, and she barely made note of how much they hurt as she collided with the wall.

courtyard"Nora," Evan called after her fleeing back, cursing under his breath as she ran to help her cousin. A tough one, Nora had said of him; Evan only hoped Stormy wasn't anywhere near him. A call for help caught Evan's attention and he swore again--loudly and colorfully--as he saw a brief flash of who it had come from between wildly attacking bodies. "Stay here," he growled at Tommy. "If those things come at you, you run," he ordered. He dodged other hunters on his way to help Lex, only managing to pull at the arm of one of his attackers. It shook Evan off, not so easily deterred. Evan was hesitant to use more force against it; these, too, were hunters, even if they weren't currently in their right minds. Tommy- courtyardThankfully, a big strong incredibly good looking man was there to help him. Oh...wait that was actually the same guy he'd already met and been talking to this entire time. Who's name he hadn't actually even gotten yet. "Ah, thank you...." His voice trailed off as he was ushered towards where the circle of defensive bodies were taking a stand against the rabid hunters that were now trying to attack everyone in sight, and this was fine with Thomas, absolutely fine. Until Nora took off. "Ah, bella!" He called after her, reaching, but too late as she took off. "I will ah, just be right back!" He said to Evan, pulling away from him to go and lend her a hand, trying with all of his might to make sense of what was going on, but noting that Nora was attacking some vines that appeared to be dragging somebody across the ground. The panic would come later, eventually. Right now she was hyper-focused on getting through to the other side, where her family waited. And if there was one thing her depression had shown her, it was that while she might not have been the most capable, she definitely had the endurance.

Quinn- Courtyard- going into Cardiac Arrest (again)He pushed himself to his feet to attempt once more to go after those vines that were on gale... Only to fall over again. This time he remembered a little more than last, the familiar pain of the episode he had (not even 10 minutes prior) back once again. The tremmors started off small, but soon he blacked out once more. xHELP Hi yes Quinn needs help again. A player needs to roll 6d6. If two of those dice match he is saved

At least in the mall, there'd been places TO GO. There was nowhere, here, but a sea of thorns that snarled into her skin, slowing her down. She had to get back to her room.
