No! No no no no! Absolutely not! Even if that wasn’t what the human desired the Kakuna was going to make sure that this wasn’t going to happen at all! There was no way that the Kakuna would even let the human have a chance! It was going to evolve quickly so that no matter what the human girl would have a hard time trying to this yellow creature. So the Pokemon decided to check its progress through this land of grass. Well all it could really see was more grass in the back of it and in front of it. Whether it made a lot of progress or the opposite was really difficult to tell.

’Am I making any progress? I gotta get to the forest even if I gotta chance it!’ It looked like the Kakuna steeled its resolve to book it. There was still no guarantee that nothing was following it but the Bug-type was going to take the chance. If something was following it then it was going to make sure that it was going to out-hope it! The creature took one last glance around the area, one last long look to make sure that everything was going to be okay. The creature looked dead straight, the direction that it last saw the forest, and booked it.

It was hopping as fast as its one point end would go. The minute it made contact with the earth it was already hurling itself across the land. The grass around it was rustling vigorously and it was no longer paying attention if that rustling was coming from itself or from some different source. The Kakuna wasn’t going to pay that noise any attention. Distractions weren’t in the agenda today.

’This place has got to end soon enough, I’ll be there soon enough!’ It was hopping and hopping, following the instincts inside that told her to keep going on. This place was bound to have an end just like it had an beginning. It was just a matter of keeping heading north where the forest was. Though the one thing that the creature didn’t do was look ahead of what was after the grassy terrain. Was there another? Was the forest right after this place?

Perhaps the Kakuna was blind to it as it was concentrating so much on getting away from this place but a shimmer began to arise from it. A shimmer that was growing vigorously as Kakuna was hopping along with all of its strength. It didn’t want to be eaten or attacked by any unknown thing in this area. That drive to get away, the drive to become stronger, the drive to prove to its human that it wasn’t going to be weak; all of it was the key to unlock its evolution.

A hop, hop and hop soon no longer became what it is. It began to hover above the ground, above the grass, and extend itself in the open air. It was such a shocking transformation that the newly evolved Beedrill was unable to accept this new turn of events. It looked down at the grass below and then to the sky above. So much had just happened in a second that it wasn’t quite sure what exactly it should process.

While the newly evolved Beedrill was looking at its new form the human male from before had been watching. It watched as this Beedrill sprouted from a brightly lit Kakuna from just moments ago. At its side was a Geodude with a smug expression on its face and a Keckleon who appeared quite bored. What the Beedrill did not know was that it had been already undergoing training the moment it had hopped out of the Daycare’s doors.

The human male took out a walkie-talkie from his back pocket, pressed the button, and began to speak into the device. “Yeah, its me. It looks as if the task was accomplished more smoothly than what was needed. Should I head back with it?” The other end of the line was dead for a minute, perhaps the other individual was thinking as to what the next step should be. ”Let it train a bit more, although it has evolved it looks like it didn’t learn anything. I wouldn’t want the reputation of the Daycare Center to be tarnished because we didn’t fulfill the customer’s request.” “Understood.” Thus the human watched the Beedrill make a beeline towards the forest.

Having wings was a glorious feeling! It felt as if things could be done so much more quickly! It no longer needed to hope from one place to another. Now it could just zip there in a jiffy. And of course it had to check out what other features its evolved form had. Yes, there were Beedrill in the Viridian forest but it wasn’t as if they were all buddy-buddy with them. Each Beedrill, just like with any other Pokemon, had their own personality. Most of the time the Beedrill would just spend time with each other in their swarm. There wasn’t much room for a Kakuna.

Beedrill recalled the time when it was a Kakuna and how it watched the passing Beedrill. Those bee Pokemon were really territorial and if they ever met a Pokemon or human that looked them the wrong way….a fight was surely planned to break out. The Beedrill were so cool looking in her perspective. They could get anywhere with those wings of theirs! It was a wonderful form and Kakuna did long for it which is why it was waiting for its evolution. The creature had not planned that it would evolve in such a fashion.

For now this meant that the human girl, who had captured it as a Kakuna, would be unable to cook it! It would no longer be able to tie down a helpless Kakuna and roast its inside. But there was something missing. Although it evolved it hadn’t been able to get stronger in terms of moves. It could fly about and run away from the girl, if need be. Yet how could it possibly attack? It still only had the ability Harden which meant it could up its defense but not its attack. It was useless!

’I can’t even attack! What use would I be to her?!’ Up until now it didn’t think that its human trainer cared much for it. In fact, the thought hadn’t even crossed her mind that the trainer had maybe planned to use the Beedrill for a battle! But all this Pokemon could do was just Harden! Was use was that in a Pokemon battle! Yeah, it still recalled its defeat to that girl’s Pokemon. It was no wonder the then Kakuna was so easy to catch.

Beedrill flew its way towards the forested terrain of this whole establishment. It was actually making quick work now that it could fly there with no interference. It didn’t even care about the bird Pokemon that could be flying about. That was how confident it was in its new power even when it didn’t have a single attacking move. It just needed one attack, one solid attack to not only impress the girl but to prove to itself that it was capable of being reliable.

This strange feeling welled up inside of it...Determination was a part of it but it also felt like….anger. All it did when it was living in the Viridian forest was to live its life. Yeah, it wanted change but it had thought that change would occur when the Kakuna would evolve into a Beedrill. Due to unforeseen circumstances a Kakuna got itself caught up by a human. The Pokemon didn’t even know what the human wanted or who she was at all. But this feeling of wanted to prove to her, to show her that this Beedrill was capable of so much more took root inside and all it wanted to do was strike this tree down!

Maybe...anger was too much of a word. There was this built up pent inside of it and it just needed to go! So as the Beedrill cornered the closest tree it began to stab it repeatedly. Over and over and over again without the sight of exhaustion. “Hold it there pall! We don’t need you to break down one of them trees.” The voice of oh-so familiar human male broke its concentration and the Beedrill turn to face it. “Easy there pal and Congratulations! Yer human wanted ye back so I’m here to get you to her.” The human male picked up Beedrill’s pokeball and returned the pissed off Pokemon to its ball. “And now to send ye on yer way.” ”Beedrill exits the Daycare and returns to the PC”
