Dita glared at the other trainer. She kept her power under control so she didn't change but she used Dazzling Gleam that was overpowered. The fairy type move overwhelmed the other Pokémon. Dita panted looking to her teammates to see if they were ok from her attack. Trinity was a little busy taking on her own triple battles.

Rex grinned cheerfully. "You go, Dita!" he cheered, so oblivious to Dita's jealousy that it was almost literally painful to watch. Fortunately, Dita seemed mostly all right, though Kabu seemed to have sensed her anger and instinctively hid in his shell, not wanting to face the wrath of an angry female... that's one smart fossil. Bur, on the other hand, was waddling around aimlessly, clearly having some trouble seeing after the bright flash. On a side note, apparently the jealous Kirlia hadn't deterred the girl in the least, because she was now blatantly asking poor, heavily confused Rex for a date.
(Catfight! xd ...Well, not if you don't want to, but either way I find Dita's jealousy amusing.)
Trust: 82 (Ridiculously Trusting) Affection: 92 (Inseparable) Trauma: 50 (Scarred) Restraint: 50 (Neutral) Level: 24 Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Combusken, Saph the Wartortle
Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.
Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.
Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques: - Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however. - Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering. - Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)
Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not. - Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability. - Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.) - Fastball (Combination - Punching/kicking move and Dark Sphere): Shadow creates a Dark Sphere, then punches or kicks it instead of throwing it. This not only boosts the Dark Sphere's speed and power (albeit at the cost of the lock-on feature), but also imbues it with some of the power of the punch/kick used - for example, a Fire Punch will imbue it with fire energy, a Power-Up Punch will make it even stronger, and so on.
Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity

Dita glared darker before smiling happily. She skipped over to her trainer pushing the female one out of the way. "How do you think I did, Rex?" She asked him hugging close to him. Her head coming up to his stomach so she nuzzled it sweetly. Trinity took a look over to her friends and paused seeing Dita super cuddly with Rex. "What the?" She muttered before ordering Torch to double kick.

Off to the side, Aero made a noise to Shadow that sounded suspiciously amused. Translation: "Ten Pokéblocks says she'll officially stake her claim once she evolves." Shadow's answer was to give the Aerodactyl a similarly amused deadpan look. "That's a sucker's bet." Naturally, while Rex was still rather confused, he beamed down at Dita. "You did great, Dita!" he told her cheerfully. Then he blinked, realizing the female Trainer had left. In a rare burst of intelligence, however, he decided not to think about it too hard.

Dita was smug as she hugged him again. She had to make sure all the other females knew he was hers. Trinity was smirking as she walked back to Shadow counting her gained money. Another boy stepped up to her smiling, "Hey you want to go out with me tonight?" He asked smoothly. Trinity raised an eyebrow at him

Rex wasn't quite sure why Dita was being so clingy all of a sudden, but didn't complain; her hugs felt strangely nice, though he made a mental note to check with a doctor about the Butterfree that seemed to have taken residence in his stomach. Naturally, Shadow immediately pinned Trinity's would-be suitor with a rather impressive glare, reflexively letting loose a growl that would make even Dusk hesitate.

The boy frowned hearing the growl. "Man, whose ever Lucario is that didn't train him well enough." He said before bragging how well his own Pokémon acted. Trinity had a fake smile on her face ready to punch out this guy's lights. "So how about that date?" He asked. "It's not going to happen." Trinity said plainly. The boy frowned some more. He grabbed her arm, "Why not?" Trinity looked down to his hand, "You better let go of me."

Shadow vanished, reappearing by Trinity's side, quite firmly grabbing the boy's wrist and removing his hand from her arm. And if he happened to crack a few bones, well, it was the idiot's fault for not being able to take a hint - you could tell from the look in his eyes alone that he was starting to consider taking a page out of Dusk's book. Elsewhere, Dusk was returning from his meeting with his informant when he was suddenly torn between pride and an urge to disembowel Shadow... mostly the second one. He shook his head to clear it, deciding that he clearly needed to get out more if he had weird urges like that.

Once the trainer had left, Shadow quite abruptly returned to his normal, (relatively) level-headed self, hugging her back with just a hint of possessiveness. Rex had a brief moment of inner conflict, then decided that Dita wanting to go to bed outweighed his wanting to have more battles in terms of importance. "We can go back to our room at the Pokémon Center if you want," he offered her, smiling cheerfully down at her.

Shadow allowed himself a small smirk, crossing his arms and discreetly trying to look like the calm, collected badass he probably still thought he was. "Sounds good to me," he agreed. "Well... all right, if you're sure," Rex allowed, unconsciously adjusting her in his arms to allow the maximum amount of comfort while at the same time still giving him some degree of arm mobility. The fact that said adjustments made it look like he was holding her close was completely coincidental. ...Okay, so maybe there was some little part of him that enjoyed holding her close like that, but he hadn't really cottoned on to that part of him's existence yet.

Dita laid her head on to Rex's chest closing her eyes. She went right to sleep listening to his heartbeat. Trinity giggled, "Ok you pick a trainer, tough guy." She teased.

Shadow considered the question a moment, pointedly ignoring her teasing tone, then picked a competent-looking Trainer, motioning in his opponent-to-be's direction for Trinity's benefit. Rex smiled softly, then shook his head to clear it and went looking for another battle, making sure not to drop or otherwise disturb Dita as he did so.
