Izumi had been working in the kitchen of the cafe for some time. It was hard work. The place was small, but popular, even if many of the customers took the food outside to eat. His break came and he came out of the kitchen, which was always hot and bursting with activity. The cafe itself was a much more comfortable temperature. He whiped his forehead with the back of a hand and then spotted two familiar faces. He walked over to them. "Tsuki... Ryan..." he said, smiling.

Tsuki sat in silence for the rest of the meal. Feeling both angry and guilty at the same time. He couldn't argue that fact, nor did he want to.

A bit relieved that someone had intervened a possible moment of him pissing off Tsuki again.. which he seemed to be doing accidentally quite a bit.. He looked up to see Izumi and gave a nod. "Morning." He said, eyes shifting to Tsuki again. Hopefully Izumi's presence would break the anger moment.. Ryan wasn't even going to attempt.. he'd likely just make it worse somehow..

"Odd how we keep running into each other, no? It's almost like fate, if you beleive in that...." He shrugged and then seemed to noticed the uncomfortable air around the two. "I'm sorry... I hope I'm not disturbing you two... It's just... I work here... I'm a cook, actually... Is there anything I can get you?"

Tsuki forced a smile at the younger boy, trying to show that everything was already. "You're a cook? Well no wonder it tasted so nice. My compliments." he said "I didn't know you worked."

"Thank you," he said, beaming. "Yeah... I have... a lot of jobs... I don't have any parents, remember? I have a bit of a scholorship for school and aparently some of the price of dormlife was docked off due to surcomstances, but I have to have a way to pay for the rest, don't I?"

Ryan busied himself with examining his mostly empty coffee cup. "We're not bothered." He added. Just sit down and talk to the angel kid.. change the subject or something.. He grimaced a little at the cup, relieved that a waitress had noticed it (or maybe that he was glaring at it) and came by to refill it.

"Do you mind if I sit down? I have break for a few minutes and I'm kinda hungry..." He motioned to a sandwich he had brought with him. "I had to skip breakfast because I overslept, so I made this to eat later. Is there anything I can get you?"

"Oh we're fine thank you." said Tsuki "Please, take a seat." he smiled and gestured to the empty chair between him and the Fallen angel. "So, what have you been doing with yourself, Izumi?" he asked, trying to start up a different conversation.

He sat down greatfully. He'd only been at work for a few hours, but he was already beginning to tire. "Nothing much... I worked a bit on homework after I got home from the cafe and then started back up here really early... I usually back the pastries an things, so I'm usually first to arrive because I have to start the ovens very early..."

Ryan watched the two of them thoughtfully, keeping to himself and his coffee as it seemed the best idea for now. He had his thoughts to sort for the moment, and Tsuki had been busy due to him. The angel needed the chance to focus on his own work, which was the odd boy who sat between them now. Although the strange vibrations of the boy's aura made his skin prickle a little.

Tsuki chatted lightly with Isumi for a while, deciding once again not to pry into things concerning his past. That kind of thing only got him into trouble these days and he hardly knew the boy enough for him to fully receive his trust. He sighed sightly at the realisation that Izumi and Ryan were in a very similar situation. How could he expect them to confide in a total stranger. He had been so selfish, so impatient. No wonder Ryan hadn't believed him earlier, he certainly wouldn't if were in his place.

"Ummm... is something wrong here?" he asked somewhat abbashed as he saw the expression on Tsuki's face. He wasn't used to asking about others or being asked about. It was a pleasant change in some ways, but it was a little uncomfortable sometimes...

Ryan blinked, looking up from his coffee at Izumi's question, eyes shifting between the two. So far he hadn't had much interest in the conversation really, and kept to himself and his coffee, and staring out the window at the bird that was eating bits of litter. "Izumi.." He took a drink of his coffee, hoping another waitress would come by to refill it again. It was a comforting distraction.. "What is your beliefs on angels and their opposites?"
