"Or maybe I'm just over reacting.. I don't know, but there is something strange going on around here. Those were no ordinary students. Their skill levels are too high for such a young age... And that doesn't happen normally, though there are exceptions."
::Motoko propped herself against a nearby wall and thought hard about this whole situation.::

spy: Tate-sama...I do not believe my cover will last long...i'm already suspicious in the eyes of some...and my background is shadowed and draws attention...we need to act soon...
Tate: not yet...hold your ground as long as possible...I need the kages vulnerable...their guards are still up...
spy: yes, that may be, but it seems the Kazekage's guard is slipping, and the Mizukage may follow...the Kazekage is spending too much focus pondering about recent occurances in the village...
Tate: about that teacher of yours...what threat does she pose?
spy: none...she is not yet of enough skill to take me down...I have yet to let them see my uncloaked...if she somehow manages to become stronger over the next few days, it may prove bothersome, but as of now, if I can just secure my trump card, she's out of the picture, and the Kages should be as well...
Tate: excellent...*turns to men*listen!! we will strike in a few days! our victory is at hand, and you will then be able to serve the most powerful shinobi in all history...
*loud cheering*
Tate: now go, and make sure this runs smoothly...
*spy disappears...returning to the village...*

*the girl was sitting atop a roof...staring at the sky...*
*the boy, deciding to take an afternoon nap after tiring himself out following the girl around, was fast asleep in his bed...not stirring...breathing so smooth and regular, it seemed non-existant...*

Kai walked through the village with the most boring expression he could muster on his face. His little dog, Chichimaru, sat on his head looking for something to do.
Kai stopped and sat down on a bench, Chichimaru kumping down from his head to lay next to him. He sighed and rested his arms behind his bed.
"Jeez, when the hell'm I gonna become a ninja? I'm fed up with only being an academy student. This' the pits, right Chichimaru?"
Chichimaru-"Rrrarf!"

::Motoko got a shocked expression on her face and looked confused.::
"You mean.. I've met you before and I don't remember you? I'm so sorry sir!! I feel just terrible now!"
::She bowed in apology over and over again. Then she got a serious look on her face, which didn't quite fit with her usual nature.::
"And I do wish that I could stay, but I really need to train. I have been slacking in these times of peace and if I don't stay on top of things I might be useless. And if I were unable to serve my Kage, then I would not be a nin. Good evening to both of you."
::And the walked off towards her usual spot in the desert.::

Nana strolled along, the day was warm and fresh, perfect for a walk. She spotted Kai sitting on a bench a little ways away. She sat down next to him and tried to pet Chichimaru.
"Hello Kai. Hello Chichimaru."

Chichimaru growled and bit Nana's hand. Kai laughed and scratched his nose as Chichimaru leg go and jumped onto his lap.
"Chyaaha! Shouldn't try to get near Chi Nana, you know she hates girls getting around me!"

Nana masasged her hand and sighed. She knew all too well that Chi didn't like other girls. That little dog was oddly protective of Kai.
"Yeah... I can feel that. What are you doing out here?"

Kai looked down and smiled as he pat Chichimaru's head. There really was nothing to do but go train maybe.

::Kazekage growled angrily, as she looked out. She knew Tate was nearby, and spies where all around here. She looked over at Mizukage, and for once she actually looked serious.::
"Mizukage, you really have no reason to be here for one. This is between me and Tate. Everyone is relying on me, and yet I believe I cannot do anything for them. I am starting to wonder if he was actually smart enough to have chosen me..You dumb ol fool."
::Kazekage walked away quickly with her hands in her pockets.::

Uindo Areno was becoming slightly agitated. The doors to the Sand Academy were closed, and it appeared empty for now... he began to walk the streets, trying to gain some information as to the whereabouts of the Sunagakure sensei.
There was little luck for the mean-looking youth, people either ignored him or moved away, whispering, as people do.

filter his frustration. "SHES SO STUBBORN!!" he finally shouted before turning and walking in the opposite direction, towards the gates, alone..

::For once Kazekage actually felt weak against what was coming. She looekd up at the sky. Kazekage continued to walk until she realized she was at her mothers burial ground. Kazekage bent down touched the spot.::
