Fooey slid to a halt as Xuza disappeared through the ground in front of him. This whole slipping through space-time looked like it was going to be quite troublesome for the demon. Fooey jumped up in the air and spun with surprising grace, landing back on the ground facing Xuza. He listened to Xuza explain her power a bit more. "So, hypothetically, if you went on vacation to France, left your watch on the dresser in your hotel room and then realized you'd left it there when you returned to America, you could just reach through and grab it?" He asked curiously. Fooey flinched slightly when he suddenly felt a burning pain in his lower abdomen. He looked down to see that Xuza was up to her old tricks, but this time she had super-heated her sword. The wound was clearly deeper and the smell of burned flesh filled the air. "Ow," Fooey muttered as the blade came at him again, this time cutting into an armored shoulder blade, searing and melting the metal plate where the attack hit leaving a glowing, molten metal streak in its wake. "Well congratulations you've forced me to start moving around now," Fooey teased as he bounded away from the spot where he had been standing. He kept on the move, circling Xuza as she floated in the air. He kept up his circling act for a few moments before suddenly launching himself forward and into the air like a cat, heading straight towards Xuza. He opened his mouth wide as he closed in on her, attempting to bite down hard on any part of her body he could reach. If successful not only would she receive a wound but she would also begin to suffer the effects of his Hemorrhagic Bite.

This means the bite will bleed freely (and since Infernus is so big, the bite is bound to be large as well). The opponent will suffer massive blood loss over a quick period of time, causing weakness, confusion and disorientation

Fooey's attack ground almost to a halt as his teeth bit the blade, his momentum still carrying him forward in the air. It was enough time. Fooey's long, hook-like tail whipped around from behind attempting to wrap around Xuza. If successful, Fooey would allow himself to fall to the ground bringing down Xuza with him and in the process swinging his tail as he as he could to slam her straight into the ground face-first.

Fooey allowed himself a small grin as he watched Xuza flail around while they fell. Just a few more feet and...."Er...what??" Fooey muttered in confusion as the floor seemed to suddenly be further away. He was disoriented for a moment as he felt Xuza screaming and struggling in his tail. It took him a moment to realize what had happened. "What!? You can take me with you???" He cried as they both fell again. Still, he was in the advantage as he seemed to have her still wrapped tightly in his tail. "Oh, I'll let you go! Just let us land!" He replied as they came down again. He planned to slam her straight into the ground. Then let her go.

"Hmmm..." Fooey replied as he heard Xuza. There was a decent chance this was a trick, but Fooey decided he would rather give her a temporary advantage and be right, than have her turn into a pancake and be wrong. "Very well," he replied. As they continued to fall he whipped his tail back and threw her up into the air in the opposite direction of the ground in an attempt to slow the velocity of her fall down using the kinetic energy of his throw in the opposite direction. The force of his throw was quite strong, his tail swinging upwards like a whip before he released her. He himself curled himself into a ball as he continued to fall, armor plating exposed as he tucked his head into his chest. A fall like this would be nothing to him considering he was made to take quite a beating.

Fooey slammed straight into the ground, causing a momentary tremor with the impact. When Xuza asked if he was alright his answer was to uncurl from his ball like a long-tailed porcupine. He quickly got to his feet as Xuza saluted him before taking off again on some kind of random flight pattern. Fooey couldn't make heads or tails of it. He tried following her movements before realizing it was an exercise in futility. Well, he had a little something just for situations like this. The only warning Xuza would have that something was amiss were the small, razor sharp spikes that began protruding from Fooey's armored body. They vibrated for a second before Fooey flexed his muscles and the shriek of metal-on-metal filled the air as the sharp pieces of metal shrapnel exploded outwards like a pincushion rejecting its contents all at once. Admittedly there was no aiming involved in this process, but Fooey was counting on the sheer number of metal blades flying in all directions would ensure that some of them somewhere hit their intended target.


Abilities used:

+Flak Blast: Metal spikes appear sticking outwards on the metal part of Infernus's body. In the very next second they go shooting out in all directions, sharp enough to tear or pierce all but the hardest of objects. If the spikes meet a hard surface, they will bounce off and come back the other direction.

Fooey watched as his attacks seemed to have some effects on the Meister. However, it seemed Xuza had another trick up her sleeve. The metal flak that had hit her began orbiting around her, presumably because of some ability she had. Fooey watched as Xuza put some distance between the two of them and start to heat up the flak. "Hmm, using my own attack against me?" Fooey mused aloud. He waited for a few moments but it seemed Xuza was intent on staying up there for the time being. Fooey decided to stir the pot a bit. He opened his mouth and let out a long stream of his Frequency Wave, shaking his head slowly back and forth as the wave continued to shoot forth, causing an invisible stream of energy to sway back and forth towards Xuza, much in the manner as water might spray from a hose that someone was waving back and forth over a small garden.


Abilities used:

+Frequency Wave: Infernus can fire a stream of sonic energy from his mouth. This energy is invisible but is able to tear apart solid objects and generally leaves a gouge in the ground where it hit. Even if an object is too tough to be torn apart, it is blasted backwards by the sheer force of the energy. He can do this in one steady stream or in short blasts

Fooey watched as his attack seemed to throw off Xuza's shard-gathering plan and cause it to backfire, burning her in the process. "Ah, the perks of sonic frequency," Fooey mused to no one in particular. Though it seemed that Xuza managed to pull herself out of that particular fiasco relatively quickly. She drew a blade and disappeared again, but Fooey knew what it was this time. Still, even knowing what was coming didn't increase his reaction time any. He had time to look to the side as she launched his own flak attack back at him with the addition of extra heat. "Oof!" Fooey stumbled to the side as the shards hit, some of them bouncing off his armor and the others digging into his muscle tissue between the plates. He quickly regained his footing and turned to face Xuza, not seeming too bothered by the pain the shards must have been causing him. "Not bad at all!" He told her as he once again took a fighting stance. "Using your opponents own tactics to bolster your own, a time-honored tactic." He slowly began to prowl around her again. After a few moments he lunged forwards again, attempting to chomp down on her torso and cause a Hemorrhagic Bite.

Fooey mentally smiled as Xuza disappeared from his bite. Of course she would. Although the attack was real, it wasn't meant to land; it was meant for the follow-up. "A final round is fine with me!" He yelled as he landed from his lunge. But rather than stop, he used the momentum to lean down and curl up in a ball as he continued forward. He felt the biting stings of Xuza's blade in his side as he started his curling motion. She was taking advantage of the gaps in his armored plating and it was working well. Blood spurted from each wound Xuza opened on his flesh between the armored plates. A brief but costly exposure. In the next moment he was in a full ball, tail and head tucked into his body. He then halted his roll forward and began to spin in place faster and faster like a top. As he did so his armor began to heat up, first glowing red, then orange and then white hot. Xuza would be able to feel the waves of heat radiating off his body from the plates. Touching any of the plates now would be like touching a hot iron.

Fooey then shot forward with surprising control, rolling towards Xuza like a bowling ball down the alley. His hope was that Xuza couldn't immediately warp again, giving him the opportunity to roll straight over her before she could escape. He bore down on her faster and faster, a blur of red and white-hot. Poor Xuza would be in for quite a bit of pain if she was even touched by Fooey at the moment.


Abilities used:

+Wrecking Ball: With this ability, Infernus can curl up into a ball, head and legs tucked into his stomach. Once he does so, he can roll around at an extremely fast pace. He often uses this to try and crush his opponent under his massive weight. he can combine this ability with Searing Plates for extra heat damage.

+Searing Plates: On command, Infernus can turn the metal plates on his body red-hot, causing extreme burning to anyone who touches them
