Never Again...Herald looked down at Emma quietly for a few moments. "Very well...." he said finally, his thoughts slowly becoming more clear. He flexed his arm that was previously injured. He looked around at all the blood on the ground, his green energy swirling around him though it wasn't violent like before. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma nodded "Thank you..." she replied before she began walking towards the door. She was actually a bit tired from the events that occurred that day and wanted to lay down and relax. She glanced at the room once more before walking through the doors to head towards where the bedroom was located, hoping Herald would follow. ☾

Never Again...Herald flashed back into his human form and looked around the room. He gave a sigh and walked out. The spirits moved into the room to clean up the blood. They were already in the hallways repairing the damage and cleaning up the blood. Herald walked up the stairs to their bedroom, closing the door behind him as he followed Emma into the room. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Once in the bedroom, Emma slipped off her shoes, arm bands, and scarf before falling down onto the bed. She buried her face in a pillow for a few moments. Her adrenaline levels lowered the rest of the way between the battle with Divine, Herald's sudden rampage, and a close brush with either having a sword through her chest or her throat clawed out. She sighed deeply and stared a wall, how the heck were they going to be able to leave this realm without Atticus trying to kill them or Herald trying to kill Mirai. ☾

Never Again...Herald sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "I suppose I'll have to kill Atticus too," he said to no one in particular, his tone neutral. Will I be bound in chains

☽ With that, Emma buried her face in the pillow again "Can we not talk about your growing hit list please?" she asked. She didn't like thinking to that moment with Atticus. He basically called her an object, something she despised deeply. He made her feel pretty useless as well, it was a surprise she didn't want to kill him. ☾

☽ Emma only shook her head in response, ears pinned back slightly. She honestly wasn't sure about what to do with all these new issues arising. She thought it would be better now that Divine was gone but no. She kept her face in the pillow and just laid there silently. ☾

☽ Emma frowned slightly as Herald turned her over. She glanced to the side "Like I said... nothing... just tired that's all. Today was complicated." she told him. She glanced towards him again "Don't fake acting like you are fine when you are injured like that again. You scared me for a couple seconds then..." she admitted. ☾

Never Again...Herald continued staring up at the ceiling silently. He didn't know whether or not Emma was mad at him but he wasn't about to promise not to fight on if injured. He gave a slight sigh. He would have to kill Atticus now. Not only had he insulted Herald but he'd threatened Emma's life so Herald had no choice but to kill him. Oh well. He would have to go back to that room tomorrow. Will I be bound in chains
