Beck's heart melted even more at the sight of the children fighting their sleepy signals before retorting that they weren't tired. "Yeah, I'll go ahead and do that." with that, he knelt down on one knee and looked at the kids, offering "If any of you want, I can carry you on my back." Daniel blinked and looked at the new King as he offered to do what others before him wouldn't even consider. Beck offered a "piggy back ride" to the three poor children. Many other Kings wouldn't even consider looking at these kids. A small chuckle left the young baker as he said "You'll be a great King, milord."

The kids all looked at Beck and smiled and nodded ad yelled out "yay piggy back rides!" Tray looked at them and smiled, she definitely agreed with the baker on this no doubt about it she then looked at Jaden who had his arms folded."I'm too old for that."Somehow Tray saw right through it, Jaden wanted one just as much as the other three did, however their was a problem with that. Beck would only be able to hold so many and since Jaden was the bigger of the four it would be hard to carry him too she smiled and stood up and walked over and held out her hand. "Okay then you and me will just walk I'll hold your hand how about that?"Jaden looked at Tray and blinked then looked down and nodded and getting off the chair he took her hand.

The King smiled as the three clambered onto his back. "Now hold on." laughed Beck as he said "I can't hold all three of you on my back." With that he motioned to his arms. "It's not that far from the castle so..." he looked at the three and smiled. "Two boys on my arms, and your sister on my back okay?"

Tray smiled at the children when they all seemed to be fighting over wanting to ride on Becks back she walked over. "He'll give you all piggy back rides but you got to take turns okay?"
After a bit more fussing and then finally relenting the kids were hanging onto Beck and Jaden holding onto Tray's hand. She bowed to the bakers as they left then headed towards the castle to put them all down. She was watching Beck interact with the children and Tray could not stop smiling at it.
When they arrived at the palace all the kids wanted to explore but Tray convinced them to sleep first they would have plenty of time to explore later. She ended up taking them to the room beck had given her and after calming them down from the sight of the room and putting them all down she tucked them all in and then stood back she smiled a bit then turned and left he room and closed the door gently. She looked at Beck then. "can we talk for a moment beck?" she asked softly.

Beck smiled as he watched Tray tuck the children in. Once she closed the door he let out a small, content smile before looking at Tray. Beck blinked before nodding and saying "Yeah, of course." He then slowly opened the door to the sleeping children to make sure they were asleep before shutting it silently. After a few hand gestures and an incantation, Beck turned to Tray and replied "I went ahead and put a protective spell on the doorway." The New King then began to walk towards his own room that was down the hall before nodding. "Of course. We can go ahead and talk in my room so that way we don't wake the kids." he smiled and opened up the door, standing to the side of it and motioning for Tray to enter.

Tray watched him as he used a spell and after he told her it was for protection she smiled and nodded at that before following him to his room. After he gestured her inside she walked in and looked out the window for a moment before looking back at him. "I wanted to tell you how impressed I was by you today Beck. Especially how you handled Jaden stealing."

Beck nodded with a smile as he shut the door and took off his shirt before tossing it on the bed. "Yeah. I was surprised too." He then pointed a finger at Tray with a smile "I couldn't help but see you treat them like they were your children." responded Beck as he leaned against a nearby stand. "It was actually quite fun."

Tray watched him she looked at the shirt then back at him again then she blinked and then looked at the floor. "It was not a big deal...I just wanted them to feel comfortable is all."

Beck walked across the room to his bed then took a seat. "No big deal? Tray...it is a big deal. It's amazing how well you cared for them, especially when you showed them how to properly eat their food." He smiled and put a hand on his shoulder as he moved it in a circle before repeating it on the other side, his muscles kind of sore from holding all of the three kids. ---------------- A messenger walked into town and looked around before noticing the castle in the distance. After a moment of admiration, the mailman kicked his horse into a rather fast trotting pace towards the castle for an urgent letter.

Tray watched Beck then looked at the floor for a moment "You are flattering me too much Beck."------- Since Beck's new position as king all the guards that remained were on high alert on any activities. One noticed the messenger approaching and stepped forward and held a hand up as it drew near to slow the rider from going further. "Hold on what's your business here?"

Beck chuckled and said "Not at all. If anything you deserves those compliments." he then patted the bed beside him as he said "Have a seat. Those kids probably wore you out like they did me." ------------ The horseman stopped his horse a few feet away from the guards and got off before turning and walking towards them, taking off the hood as he did before reaching beneath his cloak and pulling out a letter with a black wax seal. The letter engraved was a K. "A letter for the new King."

Tray looked at him for a moment then sighed a little and walked over and sat down. "I'm still not the only one who was handling the children well. You definitely were too."------- The oneguard looked at the messenger then at the letter "Who is it from?"

Beck gave her a light chuckle and said "Thank you. I helped out a little but you were phenomenal." The King then laid back, his muscles showing rather vividly as they tensed when he lowered. "It really looked like you were their mother for a second." ---------------- The messenger gave a small grin followed by a nervous chuckle. "Sorry but my Master told me that I can't tell you." he then added quickly "But don't worry. It's from another Royal. Over in the next country: Nibelheim."

Tray blinked she looked back at him but then blushed and looked away again. How could she be blushing? She had been with Beck for so long she knew how much more muscle he had gotten since she met him. So why was it affecting her now? "I don't even know the first thing about being a mother. I was guessing the whole time."------- The guard blinked "Nibelheim?" He looked back at another guard. "Go and get the king see what he wants to do." He looked at the messenger again then. "Sorry about this, we are on high alert since the new king took his place."

Beck patted beside him and said "Well then those guesses were spot-on. you just did it so...naturally." smiled the King as he patted the spot next to him on the bed. "Kind of reminded me of before..." ----- One of the guards looked and nodded before turning and walking towards the Castle while the messenger nodded. "I completely understand sir." he said and waited before adding. "My Master told me it was also important that he got it as quickly as possible." The guard that was walking stopped and looked at the Head Captain. "Sir...should I take him with me then?"
