"I'm 22 about to turn 23 next month why." Vincent asked and glanced at her and then he blinked realizing the illness and he sighed

Asha lowers her eyes. "I'm sixteen...and I'm going to die in four years...and then there will be no one to watch my children." She says.

Vincent blew out his breath and leaned back shutting his eyes "I know that by now." Vincent said his other hand over his eyes

Asha pulls away and leans against the couch. "I'm sorry...I don't even know why I'm thinking about any of this."

Asha shrugs a little. "What's the point anymore? Unless there is a cure, we're all doomed." She says, her eyes going dull. She was tired both mentally and physically.

Asha was pretty much limp at the point, barely conscious.

Asha rests her elbow on the arm of the couch, and slumps down, resting her head on it.

Vincent sighed as he leaned back closing his own eyes and found himself lightly dozing

Asha reaches for the remote control and turns on the tv. On the news, there were reports of people blowing up yet another lab for trying to find the cure. It was ridiculous how people would think that science was the problem and now we have to live with the consequences.
Her mind was practically numb as she watched the lab burn to the ground, and seeing all those people chanting as the raved in their 'victory.'
