"Heh, I'd say so." He held Mina closely and kissed her cheek. "We'll definitely bring her back here. We have many reasons after all." With that said, he continued to walk back to Eca's parents. It wasn't much of a longer walk for him, and he began to cheat by lifting her with his wind.

Once inside, Eca came to their side, relieved that they were okay. Eric sat down on a couch with Mina beside him, his arm wrapped around her waist.

"I'm sure glad you two are okay, did you get rid of him?" She asked.

Jill groaned as she heard them talk about Revenant and walked into the family room. "I would take him so lightly. Theres more to him than meets the eye, Mina." She kept her arms crossed as she spoke of Revenant.

"You sound like you know about him, he mention being a crystal sage. And he had the most unusual power, to control lightning. What's that about?" Asked Eric, this brought on once forgotten memories to Jill.

"Revenant is a relic from a once forgotten race Quinton from the Quintu world. It's unknown to even I as to how to reach that world if it exists anymore. Lightning may as well be their world's elemental trait. He's not just any crystal sage either, he's the very first. Eons ago, he researched the world rings, learned of it's secrets. Most have learned to live eternally in that shell of a form as well. His secrets were passed on to but a chosen few to be further researched, my bloodline being one of them. There's a Crystal Sage for every world, I myself am that of Tresion, for your world Mina, her name was Veronica Stassin." She explained to Mina, believing it was her that had given Mina such a strange gift.

"I believe you're carrying her life's work, concept yes? We were granted power and knowledge, but lost a freedom. We are tied to his existence now, used to keep him alive. What you saw with the wind crystal, that was one of them."

"A lot makes sense to me now, why the breeding home and guilds have been acting strange. The breeders are being used as experiment fodder for whatever reason Revenant wants Nina. The failures are all dumped into the wild, where the guild hall sends out quests for warriors to go hunt them as a way of eliminating the waste." Said Eca, however she could tell she lost Eric in her explanation.

"Short answer, Breeding Home using Breeders to make monsters, Guild Hall knows this and sends warriors out to defeat said monsters that are set into the wild. Breeding Home gets to continue research and Guild Hall gets to stay in business, all the while Revenant gets to see the progress in making such vile creations."

"Doesn't explain what happened to my world..." Thought Eric, nonetheless I got it and nodded his head. He held Mina closer and held her hand, suddenly this just wasn't fun anymore. People really wanted to take her away all to have Nina.

Nina lightly pushed all over when she was mentioned as being trapped inside her mother's belly. All to just drive the point on home. She then mimicked her mother's pats with taps of her own.

The woman shook her head and smiled at Mina. She pointed at Mina's plumped stomach. "I have no fear of you bursting Mina, you're earnest in your words referring to it as a trapped child. You're not impossibly huge, nor do you need a protection seal. You may just through the birth without magic or an operation. But are you sure you want the answer to what Mina is?"

Eric looked at Mina, unsure if he would like to know himself. Sometimes things are better left unsaid and kept as a fantasy. Nonetheless, he didn't feel it was his decision to say no, Mina deserved the right to know what was in her body. He moved his hand to support the underside of her belly.

"To put it bluntly, what you have there is a one of a kind Destroyer class of monster. I prefer to call her Child of the Crystal. Stassin's intentions were for a potion that would aid warriors of Uni in the fight against the Destroyers before they totally engulfed it and proceeded next for Duon. Something that would make the warriors more powerful, or an advantage." Said Jill, she at down on the couch paralel to the couple, only separated by a coffee table. Her husband came into the room with some food for everyone and placed it on the coffee table, receiving a kiss from his wife for his thoughtfulness.

"What she ended up making was a new form of life made of liquid crystal that were from the 4 known world rings, and lightning crystals from Quintu. Stands to reason there that there is an unknown 5th world ring. Nothing more than an incomplete blob Nina was, but it was an amazing mistake from what she wrote about in her letters." She added on, Jill took a sip from the coffee her husband gave her and then extended her hand to them. In the blink of an eye, a green crystal ring floated above the palm of her hand.

"She needed crystals to continue her research and development, but I see you two must already know that. Considering your size and all. We all agreed to swap rings only briefly, and only force a certain amount of crystals to materialize for our research needs.

(I almost can't wait till we get past the explanations, it always makes me write so much even when I try to condense it all!)

Jill shrugged her shoulders. "They aren't on your side. She's a one of a kind, to have that kind of power under your command is tempting i'm afraid." She looked to Mina's belly, reacting to the crystal in her hand by glowing a green color. "I take it by what I'm seeing here you still need these for her?"

"This is rather interesting, we've been having a problem with phoenix destroyers melting the ice. The lands are so far below the surface we all live on the ice. I actually contracted your sister to help us out with it." She closed her eyes, shards began to appear all around the ring as she forced it to produce wind crystals for her.

"That should be enough, we only needed 30." Said Eric, haven been quiet for most of the conversation. Nina bounced a bit, playfully jumping for joy over having more crystals to feed on.

"I don't know, so far she's being beneficial at keeping them away." Said Jill, as far as she knew, she was on their side. Eric added his own comments. "Who knows, there's Dolan remember? He's with the guild, and we trust him"

In an instant, the size of Mina's belly jumped from a month 6 to a month 7 belly. Nina had not hesitated to absorb the crystals she desired as usual.

"Heh, 3 down and two to go, those lightning crystals will be a pain to find though..."

Eric sighed and wrapped his arms around Mina. "She's your flesh and blood Mina. I know things aren't the best between the two of you yes, but do you really think that low of her to not trust her?" He asked, he was rather surprised that she wasn't only in the guild, she ran one herself. It didn't seem like everyone in the guild knew what was going on, or at least the whole truth.
