The Medium did not notice Penny this time, nor did he feel the full effect of what she had done. The great beast vanished from the sky and reappeared on the ground to avoid being hit by any of the incoming attacks. The Medium stomped across the raging battlefield and picked up his sword, which he had thrown down to the floor to free up both of his hands. Heaving the hefty blade back into his hand the Medium looked around for any real challenge. He was happy to see what he did. Their army was splintering as trust between them all faltered. The Medium had noticed that with each growing death, Ixio was sapping strength. Ixio was pulling from the power the Medium was gaining but not enough to ever significantly affect the beast. Ixio could be left alone for the moment. The Medium thrust his blade down into the floor and slowly twisted as if turning a massive key. There was a rumbled across the land, and then everything went to hell. For each little beast the Zaibatsu forces killed, two more would take it's place. But that was no the key to what the Medium had done.
Within a few moments his army doubled, then tripled, and it continued to grow on and on as it would always do until the end of time. Killing the minor beasts would only create more. However the armies rapid expansion was only a diversion. A bright light had shot forward from the ground where the Medium plunged his sword and storm clouds had gathered once again above them all. Lightning struck out around the war zone rapidly and repeatedly. The Medium stood firmly with one hand reached out to the sky and one hand holding the handle of his sword. Around him a barrier of pulsing black energy had formed. Whatever the Medium was doing would not end well for any in it's path.

The young girl shook her head and puckered her lips once she realized her mis-step by not astral stepping away. She didn't bother to make any noise or action. She simply swallowed the essence and finished the spell to link the two's life-forces together. In that split second there was a ripple in the spiritual plane as two opposing forces were bonded. Penelope held her arms out to the side and fell backwards through the veil and returned to her body. Penny inhaled sharply and coughed violently underneath the rubble.
Her eyes opened to the sight of utter darkness and quaking tremors beneath her. She could feel the dark nature nether swirling around the binding of the spell in conflict with the aether. Penny could feel the darkness in a manner far more tangible than before. The child laid there for a moment without motion as she took in the chaos around her. There was so much death that she couldn't handle it anymore. She immediately began to leech the energy and after a moment expelled it forwards in a burst of energy that launched the rubble of the cliff side off of her body.
Her blonde figure sat up and looked directly at the Medium for a moment. " Hey! You big dummy! Why don't you pick on someone your own size! " Penny screamed at the top of her lungs as she ran towards the beast. Her movement through the field of battle was assisted by airborne spurts of flight. She didn't want to waste any of the Aether that she was absorbing from the souls passing on. She wasn't afraid at this point and expected the beast to destroy her. She wanted it to kill her because doing so would kill it as well. The two were now dependent on each other for existence.
Eon cursed and snarled as he cut down countless child like demon spawn of the Medium only for two to take it's place and was slowly getting overwhelmed by their numbers. He quickly sliced the heads off of several of the fiends at once and quickly jumped away and made his way to a high building to catch his breath. It was like Purgatory all over again. He watched as Dameon's undead army fought against the Medium's children and was surprised to see that they were holding their own quite well. It also helped that the portal that allowed them entrance to the battle was wide open and allowed them to pour out in droves. He noticed, however, that the portal was growing wider and wider and he soon saw why as several beasts the size of an elephants bumbled through. He remembered having fought one such beast and how much damage and abuse it could take before it went down but seeing an small group made him shudder and for once he was glad that Dameon was helping them instead of against them. Though why his father had yet to attack the Medium he wasn't sure.
The young immortal shook his head as he cleared his mind and having caught his breath he jumped back into the battle but this time he ran straight towards the Medium's back hoping the chaos of the battle field would mask his approach. As he ran he began to channel holy magic into his blade so that if he made contact with the beast he would cut clean through from the hip up to his opposite shoulder and even if it he failed to cut all the way through or just scratch the beast it would feel the burning pain from his magic, or so he hoped.

This has been a fun time.
Sword no longer spending his time in the Divine Zaibatsu, its earth. The strongest is not comparable yet will definitely win the final war. The Medium's release has not accomplished the slightest to Sword. The pinnacle of strength is the Medium throughout all the land's history.

Sword Onto the battlefield covered in hot flames, corrupt earth, wild lightning, and death blessing the bloody, forlorn, bodies whom rests rather uncomfortably. Sword appeared behind Lucian's army, masking his presence and power, simply moving away from the midgets of an army. Instead, he only collect the dead while his army and the Medium's army battled one another, obviously Lucian is winning. Sword place his hand up and looks onto it while between two burning buildings. "Good. You may feast. Well done." He has spoken. The undead army Sword gave to Abryon pause and finally awoken transforming themselves into hellish monsters, so demon-like with a creature mix. Each one of them are unique, containing their own special abilities, yet focused on one point. Food. The regenerating army versus the undead army. The undead army took advantage of the situation to devour the Medium's minions regardless of its multiplication. Strange though, the minions did not come out of the undead's belly. You see, they were relevant to snakes, starving themselves for thousands of years to eat larger organisms and those bellies are bottomless. A slow decline in the opponents army, but this may Sword's chance to patiently wait in seeing the Medium's reaction, actually, to see how great this beast can live up to its potential. He might just have to poke the tiger with a stick. Though war takes place, Sword continues to walk on without any care in the world. Anyone who went towards the wanderer in offense are beheaded without a seconds notice. "Immortal Killings." Swords ultimate technique prospers out of his lips, gazing into the sky, continuing on with his peaceful task.
The Medium gave no great pause when Penny charged towards him. the child could do no harm, that much was clear to the great beast. She wouldn't even be powerful enough to breach the weak barrier he had surrounded himself with. However Eon had proven to be slightly more powerful when he broke the barrier surrounding the Medium. It was no great feat seeing how little power had been put into it but it drew the Medium's attention. The Great Beast turned and tore his sword from the ground sending a shock wave throughout the Zaibatsu. Then, after grabbing Eon's sword with his free hand the beast drove his sword forward towards Eon's stomach. The Medium pulled on Eon's sword to either force the boy into the Medium's blade or to force the boy to release his sword. Either way the mammoth of a sword was heading directly at Eon's stomach. If it pierced him the sheer size of the blade would probably chop the boy in half.
As this happened the Medium's demonic little beasts began appearing within Daemon's portal. All portals worked both ways, things could enter and leave. The Medium had reached out and summoned the army within Dameon's domain as a way to stall the undead. Sword's little play had done nearly nothing to stop the spread of the Medium's monsters. while those who were eaten by Sword's minions did not reproduce, they still gave off the poisonous gas and the Medium could feel it killing Sword's minions. The Medium could feel it because it gave it power. All of the death made the Medium stronger, every new army, every new wave would make the great beast even more powerful. They could not win this battle by trying to destroy the army, but they could not ignore it either.
"If you think this has a happy ending, then you haven't been paying attention."

Eon wasn't surprised that the Medium had seen his attack coming. The beast had already shown its superiority over them many times over so instead of hesitating Eon grit his teeth and let the holy energy in his sword explode forward with enough force to rip his sword free from the demon's grasp and hurl him safely away the large blade that would have bisected him. When he landed he tumbled for a bit until he managed to fall into a crouch and anchor himself with his now damaged sword. The top half was gone having shattered from the release of raw holy energy and the Demon's grasp being to much for the metal to take and having launched at the beast as shrapnel but his blade was still usable. He knew he alone could not take down the Medium, he was not that arrogant, not anymore.
But he had trained for five years solely so he could take down his father who was immortal in almost every sense of the word. The only way known to defeat him was to seal him away much like they had planned to do to Lucian and it was looking as if they would need to seal the Medium away as well. But Eon didn't know how to go about it. He had nothing to use as a container that would be strong enough, aside from what he had planned to use on his father and he wanted to save that particular item for that exact purpose but it was looking more and more like he might have to use it upon this enemy. After all what would be the point in sealing his father away if the Medium and Lucian destroyed the world anyway? He would wait to use the artifact for now.
With his mind made up he stood and wiped the sweat from his brow and channeled more holy magic into his body to further increase his speed and power and rushed at the Medium once more and once he got to just outside of the beast's attack range he darted left and started to run circles around the fiend and focused magic into his sword making it glow painfully bright to the point it looked like a solid ring of white light was formed around the Medium in an attempt to confuse and blind the beast. Eon knew this tactic wouldn't work for too long on the Medium and the second the beast made to do something, he would strike in an attempt to decapitate the beast.
The Medium was certainly interested by Eon's tactic and the beast immediately lost itself in counterattack possibilities. Eon was clever, if the beast couldn't tell where the strike was coming from it couldn't effectively counter the strike. However the beast was equally as fast if not faster than Eon was. He could move out of the circle but the beast figured that Eon would strike at him if he moved. The Medium was not worried about the hit but their were other ways to use Eon's method to his advantage. All the Medium needed to do was redirect Eon's blow and turn it against the young immortal. Then the Medium's plan was complete.
The Beast stood motionless for a few moments as he slowed Eon's movements in his mind by vibrating the back of his eyes to keep up with Eon's speed by blurring out everything that was not moving equally as fast as Eon. Then the beast waited until Eon had reached the peak of his circle in which he was running in front of the Medium. It was at that point that the beast darted backward for only a second to provoke Eon's strike. However when Eon did go in for the kill the Medium turned to catch the boy's arms and bend them again himself. In it's prefect display, the Medium would have turned Eon's arm completely and used Eon's own strength to impale him on his own sword. If there was a flaw the Medium would likely just break the bones in Eon's arms due to his intense grip. However the Medium would not be sure how it worked out until it was over.
"If you think this has a happy ending, then you haven't been paying attention."

The second the Medium moved Eon tightened the circle quickly until he was in front of the Medium. He crouched in low as got right in front of the beast but the moment he moved to slash his sword he pushed a burst of magic into the blade making its blinding light even brighter and rendering any who were looking at him or were to look at him blind momentarily. Having made his sword and by proxy himself unable to be looked at directly due to the brightness he cut upwards and spun in a complete circle using his body's strength as he stood for added power. If his plan worked the Medium would be cut in two.
The Medium was ready. When Eon made his move the beast began his counter. In a fraction of a second the Medium had already stopped Eon's blade with his own. He shifted his weight slightly, shifting his plan at the same time. When he shifted his weight he pulled upwards on Eon's sword with the intent to force Eon to drop the blade or cause the boy to throw his arms up into the air and hold onto the sword. Then another blade appeared in the Medium's other hand, a smaller blade that looked like a dagger compared to the size of the Medium but it was a short sword. Spending no longer than a single second the Medium drove the blade forward with such speed a sonic boom broke the air. He drove the blade forward towards Eon's ribcage intending to puncture the boy's right lung and shatter his ribs from force.

Abryon side stepped the slash at his wings. He watched in amazement at the sight before him. Ixio had appeared and saved them from a grave attack. Then Dameon unleashed his zombie army. Then he watched as the Medium was confronted by Eon's attack but was still one step ahead oy the young immortal. WIth great speed Abyron closed distance between them and force the short sword into the ground with Agony. I don't think so creature. With a deep breath Abryon unleashed a stream of hell-fire into the Mediums face and grabbed Eon away from the beast. That creature has yet to show signs of fatigue. We need to end this soon. He looks to the throne room. I hope 11 can handle Lucian without us. He brought his focus back to the creature.
Eon frowned as he was pulled away from the Medium's attack then turned to the man who had prevented him from being skewered and thanked the arch devil. "I may have a way to defeat this beast but I was really hoping to save it for my father. Nothing else I have seems to work on the thing." Eon struggled internally with his plan. On one side he would loose the only thing he knew could seal the man he was raised to hate and fight away forever. On the other doing so would be pointless if the world was destroyed anyway. Finally, Eon let out a sigh as he slumped his shoulders and turned to the arch demon.
"If you can distract that thing long enough for me to prepare my artifact I should be able to seal it away forever." Eon said quietly as he glanced around the battlefield. "I don't know how long it will take for it to be ready. This is my first time using it."
Dameon grew tired of the cyborg's lack of response and knocked his weapon aside before turning into mist and flying over to Abryon and Eon.
"I'm flattered that you kept such an artifact close at hand." Dameon said with a smirk as he looked at his son. He felt pride in how much the boy had grown in strength in five very short years. His face grew serious however as he turned to face his comrade once again.
"It's interesting isn't it? The most loyal of Lucian's generals happens to be the one who betrays him and yet I the most questionable of you all remained." Dameon chuckled at the irony before he once again grew serious.
"I do hope you two can handle the Medium on your own." his body turned to mist once more but lingered among the two fighters. "I have some bigger fish to fry." With that the mist launched off towards the throne room where Lucian and Eleven were fighting.

Abryon nodded at the father son duo, He sent Dameon a mental message Kick his a** for the both of us my friend. He then looked to Eon. He nodded as Eon asked him to keep the Medium busy. You might want to take a step back, releasing this much power can be brutal. Even though you survived Purgatory, you might not be ready for the miasmic force of an arch-devil. His eyes shined a brilliant red as he spoke. his words like thunder. Arch-devil blood output, 90% In an instant he turned again. This time he was a wingless vision of death & destruction. Before the cloud of smoke could dissipate from his release he was right in the Medium's face, staring it eye to eye, just as tall as the Medium. His next moves were so fast they each took one second to perform.
{1}With blinding speed he delivered a series of punches and kicks, {2}Agony transforming into Pandemonium, he unleashed a torrent of slashes all over the beasts body, {3} Putting all his force into his left leg, he launches the beast into the air with a kick to the face, {4} Finally he's in the air as he charges pure demon energy into his fist. Cocking his fist back he waits for the medium to get within range. FIST OF THE ARCH-DEVIL! The impact creates a sonic boom as the medium is sent rocketing to the ground. Abryon watches as the Medium hits the ground. I know this wont kill you beast, but do I have your attention? His thunderous voice echoes the battlefield.
It was when Abryon pulled Eon to safety that the Medium first spoke. His voice had been heard in the air and in the minds of everyone around when he first spoke but not once had the Medium yet opened his mouth to speak. His voice was low and gravelly but immense power traveled in every word. However he did not speak many words. "Clever boy." Then the Medium became quiet. He listened as the men spoke from their safety and he allowed them to plan. He overheard their intention to heal him, the Arch-devil was to distract the beast. But he could not distract him entirely. The Medium knew that and so he began to prepared counter seals to keep himself on this plane. The first came when the Medium sealed himself away, only he sealed himself to this realm. when it was destroyed he would be set free and could wreak havoc on the rest. He knew the seal would not hold against whatever Eon was preparing but it was only the first of many seals the Medium would begin preparing.
It was then that Abryon struck. The blows were fast and effective, while they did not necessarily hurt the Medium, the great beast certainly felt them. The next thing he knew the Medium was on his back, in a crater on the ground while Abryon hovered above him trying to taunt the beast. It took seconds for the Medium's body to heal entirely. "My turn." The beast's voice rang out from behind Abryon yet it appeared that the beast had not moved from the ground. Then he had. In an act of clear showmanship and bragging the Medium struck at Abryon with such speed that when he was done, only two seconds had passed. First the Medium appeared before Abryon and delivered a bone shattering punch to Abryon's abdomen. Then he kneed Abryon's stomach before driving a dagger down into the arch-devil's tail, the first of several strikes the tail would have to endure. Within the second second of his attack the Medium conjured a chain of black fire around Abryon's neck and threw the arch-devil down towards the ground only to wait and pull him back up with neck breaking ruthlessness, but he was not done yet. As the Medium tore Abryon back up into the air he vanished and reappeared behind the traitorous general, grabbing his tail and spinning him until the spins them self broke the sound barrier resulting in several more sonic booms breaking the air. Then the Medium swung Abryon like a baseball bat with the intent to tear off his tail and fling him towards Eon.
"If you think this has a happy ending, then you haven't been paying attention."

Eon knelt down once Abryon attacked the Medium and dug into his armor and pulled out an ancient music box. The entire exterior of the box was riddled with runic writings of an ancient and dead language that Eon was sure predated humanity. Though as he examined the box he noted that it was completely undamaged despite the beatings he had taken to his person but the young immortal chalked that up to the strange materials that the music box was made up of. Having finished his inspection he thrust his sword into the ground in front of him making it glow brightly to obscure what he was doing and began to focus magic into the box chanting quietly to the song that started to play. The music that played was low and sad creating a sensation of melancholy around him but he ignored it so as to focus on the box. He would know when the box was finished being prepared only when the music stopped playing and he hoped that it would not take to drastically long.

Abryon never knew what hit him. in seconds he was in the ground, a maelstrom of pain flooding his body. he coughed up blood as he stood to his feet. He proceed to stager into the air and was at eye level with the Medium. Then he began to laugh. Hysterically really. his voice just as omnidirectional s the Medium, thunderous an forceful. How wonderful, and here I thought I would die without having a worthy challenge. His eyes glow as his body heals instantly, his torn tail reforming. It was clear Abryon was succumbing to his inner madness. Now the fun can begin. Once I destroy you, I'll obliterate Lucian as well. Tilting his head he looked at the beast. You and I are the same, creature born of chaos. Though you aim your destruction at the wrong people. As we speak Lucian plans to destroy this world, all world for that matter. If he Succeeds, then you too will be wiped from existence. He then gets into a fighting position Though I doubt you'd ever listen to reason, we are play things for you after all. His red eyes narrow at the beast as he gives him a "Lets go" gesture.
