Fleur continued to stretch her arms, anticipating the fight. "Why bother Chinchilla?" She asked, purposely mispronouncing her name. "Are you scared of a few flames? So what if she's carrying around that cigarette lighter?"

Texas watched the souls standing on the rooftops as they walked, a frown on his face. The tensity before a fight was one of the few things about fighting that he didn't like. They were obviously sizing them up, like vultures circling their prey or maybe lions lying in wait. "I...don't think they're just gonna let us walk away Mirai," he said as he kept careful watch.

Scratch suddenly saw Mirai's soul light up. "Incoming..." he said as he launched himself into the air to get out of the way of both friends and foes. He wouldn't interfere in the fight unless Chilia or Fleur asked him to. Well, maybe Fleur.

"Well it's gonna be kinda hard to launch of surprise attack if we're both staring right at each other genius!" Fleur replied angrily to Chilia, her vampiric fangs showing a little. Ironically she was so busy being annoyed with Chilia that she didn't notice the branches coming in or Scratch's warning and in a moment had several of them wrapped around her. "What the-?" She cried, looking down in surprise. She growled angrily and broke free in an explosion of resonance force. "Well so much for your great plan," she said to Chilia as she unfolded her slender wings, the crystals dangling off of them magically. In a second she had launched herself up into the air as well, hovering over the street, looking down at Mirai and Texas. "Nice try little girl, how about you try an actual attack next time? Or should I give you some of my resonance force just to not make this fight so pathetic?" She grinned wickedly down at the two as the crystals on her wings began to glow brightly. After Chilia's surprise attack, Fleur's crystals flipped from vertical to horizontal position and several beams of light fired out of the crystals, each one the color of the crystal that fired it. They lanced towards Mirai and Texas, aimed with deadly accuracy.

Fleur made an annoyed expression as Mirai disappeared from view. She turned in the air as she heard the massive wave of fire coming towards her. "Heh, too obvious," she sneered as she caused an explosion of resonance force to launch herself out of the way. She turned back to Mirai as the ground exploded behind her. "Nice try there little girl, but you have no idea who you're dealing with," she said haughtily, her crystals still in firing position. This time she fired a rapid stream of blasts towards Mirai, a grin on her face.
