Enzo rolled, still snarling with rage as he scrambled to try to better the slight ghoul that unfortunately had become the target of his rage. Everything frustrated him just then, enraged him. He knew very few people, he was in a strange new environment, the damn ROACHES kept ITCHING under his clothes and this girl was too busy trying to kick and punch and scratch to even woo properly. Alright, so maybe his tactics weren't the best just then but dammit he was ANGRY. The Boss finally had finished licking up the cake that had fallen on the floor, rumbling a low beat of notes as he rolled his way over to his master but there was little he could do.

SO HOT! It's strange how Bea's head is starting for feel clouded. Too clouded. She began to fan her face with her purse. Still staring at the punch bowl, she filled her cup once again, hoping it could cool her down. She took another swig and moments later... She was starting to feel calm. Still a bit irratated but also sleepy? Everything was turning blue-ish. Woozy and sweating a bit, Bea was definitely not feeling like her usual self. Sounds of a low picked notes played around her. Was that... licking cake off the floor? Without much thought, Bea followed it towards a boil who she vaguely remembers. At the moment, she couldn't think of where they have met, but there were other things on her mind. Like that bass... "HEY!" Bea shouted at the bass then stood there like a dope, slightly wobbling from side to side.

Maybe if they'd locked the minipet pens up a little better, Cam wouldn't keep escaping. Or, maybe there was no lock in the world that could keep it at bay. All that mattered was that the little Cthulhu was out and about, looking for legs to hump and people to eat. The tentacles that ringed around it's mouth lifted up in the air, sniffing for something familiar - but there was so much crazy going on, that all it could smell was sweat and fear and hate and - Cam was disgusted by the big pets. All of them. Disgusting. Not worth eating. And that was saying something. It toddled up to a leg that looked like it wasn't moving very much, and sniffed appreciatively. Wait a minute, it recognized this leg! So.. so familiar.. what was that scent.. had it eaten from this flesh before? It smelled like the sea. So delicious. heart

It was just so magical and amazing! Merope had to put Sibyl down in order to stare in amazement and begin clapping as several boils and ghouls lit up with rainbows and glitter. "Woooow!" It was like watching fireworks, except without the noise and needing to crane your head all the way back! A touch below made him look down and down, his glow brightening in recognition. "Cam! It's been aw-" He cut is greeting off to reach down and scoop the minipet up, and subject it too to the quick twirl of excitement and joy. "Caaaam! Have you come to spread the love too? You should've brought your poetry book! I wonder if I can remember one..."

Suddenly hands were touching the Cthulhu and an angry hissing sound emitted from underneath it's tentacles as it writhed and wriggled in disgust for being touched - no, being picked up, by a lesser being. Every extension of it's body was trying to wriggle up against Merope in an attempt to rend and tear and defile, but all it managed to do was slither around his arms and suck on his hand a little, as it had no claws or teeth anymore. Purple pet was a cruel pet indeed.
Finally, when it reached high enough to see Merope's face, it stopped wiggling long enough to recognize the boil that had picked it up, and let out a low, keening sound as the hissing stopped. It knew it recognized that seasalt smell coming from the flesh of this one! This was the one who played that game with it a long time ago, and it had given him that present of the book it's pet held so dear underneath her pillow. It liked this one, after all! Cam stopped trying to eat and/or destroy Merope, and wiggled it's butt affectionately before slobber began to drip from it's tentacles.
That means it likes you, Merope. heart

With Cam's wiggling, it was true that Merope nearly dropped the minipet more than once on its ascent up. He thought it was pretty cute how it fussed and hissed and wiggled. It was... cuddly, in a way. Not the same sort of cuddly that a foxfire owner might expect, but cuddly in a way that Merope had to fight against the urge to squeeze Cam against his chest like a favorite stuffed animal.
That didn't stop Merope from making any sort of "D'awwwh!" noises when Cam began showing his affection onto him. Okay so possibly at this point the minipet was squished against his chest for a moment in a hug.
"Heeey Cam! Are you thirsty?" Merope inquired, still struggling to recall lines of the poem. Livers are red, suckers are blue? No, that wasn't it...

"Complicationsss," Barth said. "Why are there elephants here? Nothing makesss sense, I hate it, and it's so hot."
He looked over at Riley, making a pile in his mattress with Christof's parts, and the anger and frustration broiled up.
"Don't bother, we can't sssave it. It'sss....Jack, I can't even...ssss- talk. I'm going to rip sssomebody apart and ssstitchess won't sssolve- Candlejack."

On the one good side after taking another cup of punch, with Edel being thrust in his hands he no longer felt the need to go the bathroom. Instead his face grew into a flush color but not the same flush color of embarrassment. Instead he was angry, more like ticked off, the same sort of seething rage when one of his mice chewed a hole though his new composition. HOW DARE HE! HOW DARE MUKA MAKE HIM DANCE AND THREATHEN HIM! They were good friends weren't they? Then why tell him not to hurt her? Joachim wasn't even capable of hurting someone let alone a ghoul. ".. JACK DAMNIT WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS ANYWAYS.....ERRRRR.. I MEAN..... I'll go get us some punch...." He snorted as he cast his eyes to the ground and picked up two cups of punch and filled them still feeling rather rage like and not himself.

Cam was not thirsty. Cam was hungry. Hungry for flesh. But it could not explain these desires to the big creature that was carting it around like a personal slave, so instead it just made several bubbling sounds under it's tentacles and tried to climb around in Merope's arms until it was upside down, so that it could watch the world from a new vantage point.
It almost missed the ground, because there were so many delicious legs waiting to be defiled. So many shoes waiting to be slobbered on. So many skirts waiting to be looked up.
Still, being carried around like a king was acceptable, as well. And it would not say no to a drink, if it was offered one.

Once Cam made himself comfortable, Merope chattered aimlessly at him while moving towards the refreshment table. "Do you remember how those poems went? Not all of them were poems, but I remember they were all the sort of thing that you couldn't look away from. I think I remember a bi- wait. Waaait," Merope stopped, his single eye squeezing shut as he concentrated.
"Mmmnope," he sighed, disappointed in himself. "It's weird. I can remember you showing that book to me and reading it, but I can't remember the words themselves. The general idea, yeah, but anything specific it's like... Blank. Nothi -- oooh! Cupcakes!" Merope perked up as he caught sight of them, reaching over to grab one. Or two.
"Uh, Cam? How do you eat anyway?" Merope asked, looking at the minipet a bit worriedly. Was he supposed to dunk its head into the still smoking punch bowl? Shove a cupcake into its tentacles? Helpless, Merope held him up and over the treats and waited to see what he would do.
Or what he would defile. At least everyone was concentrating on the punch and not the snacks anymore.

The upright bass swiveled on it's wheeled stand, glowing eyes blinking at the eternally damp woman with a quizzical sound from his strings, tuning pegs flexing like spider legs before leaning to point one in the direction of his Master and the poor ghoul he was locked in battle with, with an urgent thrumming.

Cam stared at all of the food before him, and then cocked its bulbous head at the question. It turned around almost completely, shifting enough so it's head was facing Merope. The big creature had asked a question, after all, so Cam was only too happy to oblige showing him exactly how Cthulhu's ate. Once the maw was open enough to be drooling, he snapped back around to face the treats, and Cam bent in as far as it could go and began shoveling food into it's mouth. Cupcakes, sausages, gore d'oeuvres, everything was being pulled up by it's tentacles and being devoured by the gaping hole underneath them. The sound of Cam eating was a chilling mix of watery slurps and juicy suckles. It was a soul-killing sound.

Merope stared.
He wanted to keep him.
This feeling only intensified as the Cthulhu began to vacuum up the untouched treats on the table. He was just too cute! And adorable. And -- wait. Cam was eating everything.
Merope reached out and snatched a few treats before they disappeared into Cam's waiting mouth, shoving them in his own before beaming benevolently at the tiny minipet. "Awf whaom frrm maham roo."
Hopefully Riley wouldn't mind if he fed her minipet. And watered it, maybe? Merope cautiously filled a cup from the punch bowl and set it near the Cthulhu, unsure of whether it would drink or not.

"Hm?" Bea watched the bass direct her attention to the boil on the floor. She puckered her lips a bit while she took a better looked at him. Again, he seemed vaguely familiar, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"Hey, are you okay?" Bea offered an arm to help him up, though he was crawling with critters.
