Bakura holding the rod didn't deter the Egyptian, and he launched himself at the male. Just as his body made contact with Bakura though his spiky hair went flat and his eyes widened, making a rather girly shriek as they tumbled to the ground.

Bakura's eyes widened as Marrik Charged at him. There no where to go and no time to move. He had failed and knew it. But as he fell to the grownd he heard a pitch that didn't come from Marik's control. As he lay on the floor with his eyes closed he asked a very hopefull question.
"Malik? Is that you?"
He really hoped it was

Malik sat up as he landed straddled on Bakura, his brow furrowed as he rubbed his temples. Marik was yelling his head off and pissed off as all hell, something about him about to win and Malik messing things up. "Ugh he's giving me a head ache, wait a minute......Ryou." Ryou was currently hiding in the hall squealing now because Marik had him cornered, unable to stay in Malik's Soul Room without him. His eyes took on a glazed look as he entered his mind, booting Marik around so he could let Ryou out and back into Bakura through the contact that they had.

As ackward as the position was Bakura was glad that it was Malik and not his Yami. But his fear reamerged when malik mentioned his own Hilari. He kept a hold of Malik's body as he went to save him. He was rewarded with a warmth coming to him with the young mans return.
"Ryou....."
He wasnted to join him then and there but he didn't want to risk Marik over powering Malik and there body just laying there.

Ryou was happy to be back in his own ' body ', hugging Bakura's Soul Room door before going inside and flooding it with warmth. Yes it was good to be back, and after that trip he was more then happy.

he never realised how cold a Yami was in a body alone, until Ryou return to him. Looking up to Malik he smiled though.
"I take it you can keep marik at bay?"
The sooner he could get to Ryou the better.

Malik blinked and stared down at Bakura, giving a shrug. "Yeah he's no prob, we need to talk a little is all." His eyes had that glazed look, of course the smaller Egyptian didn't see anything wrong about their current position.

This position was getting more and more uncofortable. He had been light deprived and kust standing next to them he could control himself, but like this? He was fighting every urge to eat Malik alive like Marik wanted to do with Ryou.
"U...Okay....Do you think I could get up and check on Ryou then?"
He wanted away from this situation. If anyone was going to be with him it was going to be Ryou.

Malik remained where he was unresponsive, his eyes keeping that glazed look. He was in his own head right now, not bothered at all by anything outside. Ryou remained in Bakura's Soul Room, his light calling like a siren.

Bakura soon realised he wasn't going to get a response soon so with a sigh he gentally rolled Malik off him and closed his eyes.
Walking down the hall to his soul room, a smile came to his face as he saw Ryou waiting for him.
"Are you alright?"

Ryou smiled happily and ran up to hug Bakura, smothering him in his light. "Ohhh I was so scared, I've not done that in a long time!"

bakura chucled softly as he brought his arms around Ryou.
"I'm glad Malik helped you escape."
His smiled dropped a little as it came to confesstion time for him though.
"I'm sorry if you feel anypain in your shoulder....I didn't think he'd actually try to knock me out of the tree with a brick."

The look on Ryou's face.....Bakura wasn't sure if he should be scared of the younger male or not. He would have to tell the truth though.
"Well...um...how to put this......"
He seemed ver nervous now.
"You told me to keep him distracted right...So I intced him into a game of chase using bait he couldn't resist."
He really didn't want to say what the bait was.

Ryou was suspicious, he could tell his Yami was hiding something. "What bait?" His eyes narrowed, worried what it might be.
