brooystart Lanfaer Guren's crystals were able to resonate the "technique" he was using. Perhaps with my crystals someone can utilize a sound based jutsu and, through some unstated possible effect, increase the rank of that jutsu. But even if this was, in some way, the case, we would need to have a sound based genjutsu or jutsu in general to do anything.
And for the record, I have used Genjutsu on Bijuu before. It is possible. Isn't sound the weakness of shouton? No, actually. People are assuming that because someone made a reference to it within the description of the bloodline. However, it is not a weakness. Lightning, actually, is the stronger element against Shouton. And in fact, that little guy's power was based off of his "screaming", which was sonic. If sonic was truly it's weakness, the crystals Guren used would have shattered, not resonated.
And in essence, last I checked crystals are used for many, MANY sound-based things in our world. If crystals broke every time someone played music we'd be ********.

Earth and water I can crystallize.

That defeats the purpose of getting to know a character. I already had to warn people about her personality because people tend to believe that in-character reactions reflect out of character opinions on others, when that's not the case at all. I'm not going to tell people my character is insane when, for the most part, there's no way to tell off-hand. That's the same thing as giving someone permission to meta-play.
As for the gender of the character, it's already in the post, at the top, along with her name.
To clarify even further, I will have a picture of her when I have time to draw her.
