 I was afraid of that... Rufus nodded.
"When the voices start coming again, I command you to tell me immediately, no matter the time of day or situation. You have to swear this, Kuro. I don't care whether it's the middle of the night, dawn or during a meal time. You find me. I will make sure you always know where I am, I'll need a schedule anyway since I'm King."
He paused. "Do you swear to find me and always be honest with me about your situation, Kuro Suji?"

Kuro nodded reluctantly. "I will try." he said softly, taking a slow deep breath. "You can bring Akito in.....just don't tell him all of this I don't want to scare him." he said softly, closing his shirt as best he could but since Sarah had ripped the buttons off they would need to sewn back on.

Rufus shook his head, leaning close and making Kuro meet his eyes. "No. You have to swear it to me, Kuro. No matter what I'm doing, you find me. Immediately."
He sat back. "Or else I'll dismiss Akito right this minute." It was risky, but he knew it was the leverage he needed... and Kuro would know he was serious since Meme and Akito were so close.

Kuro stared at Rufus, hearing the threat and giving a heavy sigh. No matter how young this Prince was he could never hide anything from the man. "You have my word." he said sternly. "If I fail.....I will endure any punishment you deem to fit....Even if that means separating me from Akito." He meant every word of it, he wouldn't have offered the punishment if he wasn't entirely serious.

Rufus nodded. "Glad to hear it. Though for both our sakes, I hope you don't fail - my wedding night might already be delayed by about a year, but if I had to get rid of Akito, it'd be delayed by at least five years." He winced. "I will be faithful."
He shook his head. "Anyway. If you need it, Sarah can prepare you a sleeping draught."

Meme heard the door open and looked toward it, seeing Kuro walk out and smiling. "Glad to see you're okay." he said softly, allowing Akito to hug the man if he needed but he hoped Rufus wasn't blaming himself for this.

Kuro shook his head. "No need. I think I'm gonna try walking. I need to let Akito know everything is alright." he said as he stood up slowly, luckily he was a pretty strong person so it wasn't much trouble to stand. He made his way for the door and slowly came out into the hallway, seeing Akito sitting on the bench staring at the door.

Rufus watched Kuro leave, then sat down on the bed for a moment. It's kind of funny: I'm 21 and already King. I have a husband, a country to run and my Butler trusts me most in the whole world. He pulled at his collar, needing air. He stood and closed the curtains, stripping fast and putting on would-be patient's pajamas before running past Sarah and out a back way.
I don't care if I throw up all tomorrow: I'm getting on a horse NOW!

Akito stood as Kuro came out, keeping his hands to himself just in case. "Are you alright?" he murmured, eyes on Kuro's face.

"Is Rufus still there?" he asked Kuro softly, upon his answer Meme couldn't help but smile. "I think I might know where he is. Thank you Kuro." he said softly, wishing the butler good health before he made his way to the stables. He had a feeling Rufus might be there to relieve some stress. When he found Rufus on a horse, Meme just stood by and watched him from the stables, careful not to interrupt him.

Kuro gave a heavy sigh and nodded, the corner of his mouth twitching into a little smile. "I'll live." he stated simply, opening his arms for Akito, knowing he wanted to run up to him. Upon Meme's question, Kuro looked back and shook his head. "I guess he left somewhere." he said softly.

Rufus had deliberately left behind his fancy clothes so he wouldn't ruin them. He walked close to his favourite horse, smiling softly as he brushed through the stud's mane with his fingers. "Hey Truant. I'm sorry it's been a couple of days." He offered an apple, which the horse gratefully ate with a whinny. Once the horse had finished, he climbed up and groaned as a twinge went through his stomach.
He knew both he and Truant wanted a proper gallop, but instead he walked slowly around the yard, getting used to the way his stomach reacted.
After ten minutes or so, he smiled and leant down to Truant's ear. "I think we're ready, eh, boy?" he murmured, sitting up properly in his pajamas and... spotting Meme out of the corner of his eye. Blushing brightly and looking guilty, he froze.
"Uhhh... hi Meme."

Akito carefully hugged Kuro, shaking his head. "You scared me."

Meme couldn't help but laugh at Rufus' expression, as if he were caught doing something he shouldn't be doing. "Don't mind me, just keep doing what you were going to. I enjoy watching you ride. I just wanted to make sure you were alright."

Kuro held Akito tightly and even kissed the top of his head. "I know.....I'm sorry. I don't know how I can make it up to you." he said softly. Kuro enjoyed feeling the boy in his arms again, it felt like Akito belonged there all along.

Rufus opened his mouth, ready to be gracious and simply thank Meme... "I'm not supposed to ride, really, not for another day or so, but I really, really want to." He gestured at the pajamas. "Enough to wear these in public."

"Don't worry, it'll be our little secret this time!" he said with a laugh. Rufus was indeed amusing to see in pajamas. "You should do what you love. Just make sure to realize your boundaries, we don't need another person in the hospital wing." he stated softly, finding a bale of hay to sit on for the moment.

Kuro blushing a little at the kiss but he didn't shove the boy away. "How are you feeling? Do your stitches hurt?" he asked, sitting on the bench nearby and looking at a few of the wounds on Akito's arm. It was difficult to look at all of the wounds since he dressed the boy in a long sleeved shirt. The wounds were still healing nicely though. Kuro felt a breeze on his chest and looked down, closing his shirt the best he could.

Again, the Prince started to give Meme a simple 'thank you', and found himself saying something else. "I don't think you understand: I want to gallop, which is definitely not a gentle, slow pace."

Akito shook his head. "Not at all." He lied, blushing as his eyes followed Kuro's hands to his chest. He'd never really had a lover, but he knew about sex in theory... and he found himself hoping the shirt wouldn't close.
He stepped back. "I should go - my brother's will be worried since I ran off like that."

Meme's smile faded slowly at the mention of his husband's desires. "O-oh...." he said softly. "Well....I'm sure if you gallop this one time it shouldn't be so bad. When your done here we'll just have Sarah look at you and help you heal."

Kuro gave a soft sigh, he didn't want Akito to leave. He wanted to keep Akito in his arms for the rest of the day but the younger man was right, he didn't want the little ones worrying. "A-alright.....Go keep them company for a bit. They looked forward to seeing you." he said reluctantly.
