Just starting to get over what she had seen in the mirror, poke walked into the next room and was immediately assaulted by a haze of purple fog. She looked behind to find her friends, but found she couldn't see a thing anymore.
"Hey!! Hello??" She called out to anyone near. Hopefully her loudness would prove to be a good thing for once, and would lead her friends towards her. Or..attract something dangerous instead. Instead of a reply however, she heard some...giggling? Eyes darting about, she only caught glances of something. small darting about.
She held her fists up ready to protect herself, but a voice rang out telling her to get the heck out of here otherwise..she never would.
Well, better do as she was told. Although with as the things kept darting about while she tried to find a exit, she had to wonder if she...really had to worry or not.
Regardless, it was always dangerous to underestimate the enemy

As she stumbled about in the fog looking for the exit, poke could feel continual tugs on her pants and shirt, but could never see directly what was causing them. "Okay. seriously, what the heck are these things" Her hand suddenly reached out in order to snag one, but instead she felt the edge of the room, followed by nothing.
She must have found the exit!
"YEAAHH!" the dragon ghoul punched the air, amazed that she had somehow found the exit in all this fog. She graved the edge of the door so she wouldn't lose it again, then turned back to the fog calling out. "HEY! GUYS! OVER HEERREEE!"

Finally reaching a new room, Artemis breathed a small sigh of relief. This had to mean he was getting closer to the end, right? Maybe it would all just be easy breezy from here, easy as pie and so on. Maybe there would even be a shower in this room! Maybe-
Oh Jack. What. The. Heaven.
Purple smoke filtered into the room suddenly, nearly blinding him. He hacked and coughed out of habit, before realizing that it wasn't a terrible smell to breathe in. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't offensive either. Still, though, he couldn't see save for a few inches from his face.
What was that? He heard little giggles, not unlike a human's. But these were more dainty, a little magical, even. He could see flickers of whatever was making the sounds. They had dainty little hands and wings that glittered, and he even caught a glimpse of one of their faces.
Oh Jack.
Fairies.
The voice didn't need to tell him to run. He booked it, covering his face with his hands. Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack. This was definitely no bueno.

SMACK!!!
Artemis fell to the floor, clutching his head after running straight into a pink, glitter covered wall. About to stand up, he felt a little fairy hand clutch on to his hood.
"Not the hood!" He cried, attempting to pull the little bugger off. He struggled and tried, but to no avail. How the heck were these things so strong? Fairies on steroids? Ha, he wouldn't have been surprised, with the way this haunted house was going.
Finally standing up again, resigned to the fact that a fairy had attached itself to his hood, Art tried to find the faint outline of a doorway. Thinking he saw a large black rectangle, he started running towards it.

His eyes had been right! He ran through the doorway, already feeling better. He laughed and rejoiced, finally having done something when that voice appeared! He lay down in the open hall, still smiling like an idiot. He was finally getting his mojo back. Take that you stupid house!
A faint sigh escaped from his hood. Oh, right, the fairy.
Artemis looked at the creature, now able to fully see it. No, it wasn't on steroids. It was actually a cute little thing, all petite and tiny and such. It had porcelain skin, long blue hair, iridescent dragonfly wings, and deep amethyst eyes. Her color was fading quickly though, and she seemed to be shriveling up, outside of the room. Maybe that fog was keeping it alive? Maybe they couldn't handle Halloween? Biting his lip, Artemis took the helpless little fairy out of his hood and put her next to him. He had never really felt compassion for a non-Halloween being before.
Getting up, he took one last look at the fairy, and sighed.
And then smashed it underfoot.
"See you soon, maybe." He whispered, walking on. And on, and on, and on.

The image in the mirror wavers away, then the mirror itself is gone. For a moment, Tess almost doesn't realize it. But she gets back to the air, visibly shaken and disturbed, her hands gripping her forearms tightly. She turned towards Levi, "A-are you okay?" she asked softly as they moved through the rooms and there was... fog.
Purple fog.
No. No. No no no no no NO NONONONONONONOOOOOO!!!!! It was the Risk Factor all over again! She heard the giggling crackling out of the intercoms and the command to find the exits. She didn't need any further prompting. "LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!!!!" she shrieked to the tatzel, leather wings rapidly beating away as much of the purple fog as she could in an attempt to regain sight.
But she felt tiny hands tap at her shoulder, and spinning round she saw a fairy had grabbed her.

Tess screamed as a second fairy suddenly appeared, glittery wings fluttering in her face, getting in her way. She swatted at the creature, baring her fangs and extending her straw-like tongue as a warning. "Back off! If you have blood in you, I WILL DRAIN YOU DRY!"
Her threat didn't seem to have any effect on them, and what's worse, she was feeling compelled to... dance with them. Huh. Dancing really didn't sound all that bad to the winged ghoul, really. In fact, it sounded kinda fun~

A third appeared and well, that just made it a party right there! Maritess, despite lacking legs, and having large, cumbersome leather wings sure seemed to be having a grand old time dancing with the fairies! Of course, if she ever got out of here and ever encountered these three when she was in her normal state of mind...
She was going to show them her fangs and tongue weren't just for show. But right now she was dancing in the swirl of purple fog and misty haze.

Ulmuka blinked as they entered a fairly decent sized room that was flooded with a purple mist. Even with his superior eyesight he could barely see a few feet in front of his face.
"Stay together.." He screeched to whoever could hear him. He was already not following his own rule though, as he'd lost the few people he'd been with rather quickly. He'd have to find an exit. If he did he could yell out for the others to follow.
He wandered, his clothes being tugged, but so far was unable to find any sort of door. He hit a wall, finding no knob or opening, and started to follow it but as soon as he'd gotten a few feet a small being, a fairy, was dancing with him and tugging his hands away from the safety of the wall. It was distracting and made his head spin and before he knew it the safe surface was no longer in reach.

He was starting to get sucked in by the dancing. He swayed with the fairy and giggled even though the look feel of the happy creature reviled him on some level. Something about them was hypnotizing and he just couldn't get away.
It dragged him further away and soon some other fairies had joined in his manipulation.

Ulmuka seemed to be caught. His vision was spinning from the sparkling, the flashing, the dancing and the mist. He unfortunately became lost to the fairies. With a mass of giggles he whirled with the fairies.
Damn this haunted house had snagged him yet again!

Edel had tailing the group she was with silently, evidently still lost in her thoughts to make any significant attempt at socialising. The expression she wore was placid, but she suspected herself to have been a little more solemn than that. She glanced ahead of her to see that Ulmuka was still there enjoying himself as they crossed the threshold into another room. It wasn't before long that a thick purple gas started to fill the room, but this was probably the least startling of the phenomenons Edel had witnessed in this curious Haunted House. The ghoul remained unfazed as she walked on, but she began to lose sight of those in front of her as the swirling fog grew thicker to obscure her vision. Out of the corners of her eyes she could catch the beating of small wings, to which she responded with a wry expression. Perhaps butterfly-winged bunnies again?
Or maybe she should worry a little, as the omnipresent voice not so kindly reminded them. Was she being a little too bold for all this now? Edel mused over the thought, laughing it off quietly.

There was a faint tug on the end of her pashmina, which seemed to grow more and more persistent as she tried to ignore it. From a distance, Edel could hear the distinctive giggling of Ulmuka. She was a little puzzled at his apparent state of euphoria – she was sure that he would have detested the sparkles and glitter with a passion. She wouldn't bank on him having an abrupt change of heart, and grew a little worried as the laughter ensued. W-was he alright?
The frost demon tried to fan the fog out of her path to little effect as she carried on to find the exit. Hopefully the strix had already made his way out and had witnessed something that would tickle him so ferociously.

Something had perched itself on Edel's shoulder and began singing into her ear. She wasn't too sure what the creature was singing about over the extremely off-key pitching, but it was certain that it was a gleeful chortling. The ghoul frowned as the ringing in her ear became dizzying and tried to swipe the chirpy little thing off her shoulder. Her hand brushed against it and for a moment, she was allowed a short reprieve from the incessant singing. The thing had somehow found its way back to her and circled around her playfully, much to her annoyance.
Edel covered her ears to drown out the cheerful noise. Gosh. The frost demon was now determined to make her way out of the room as soon as possible.
