Dorian, was calming himself down, he turned his head to the side and gave Daft a sidelong unreadable look, "Watch what you're doing." Was all he said before he left the bathroom, closing the door, which miraculaously wasn't damaged, behind him. Instead of going downstairs he went to his room and curled up on his bed, closing his eyes.
Aya scowled at him, "You guys!" She chided.
Mrs Aramaki knocked lightly on the door, "You sure you're alright, dear?" She called through the door.

"Fine." Daft muttered. "Just let me take my shower..." loosing his towel once more, he stepped into the shower, which he had adjusted to the right tempature. He began to grow a dull headache, and soon stepped out of the shower, careful not to slip on the rug, and dried himself off, using an extra towel to work on his wings. He put back on the same clothes, and exited the bathroom. "Hey Tip, which room is you'rse?" He asked, his voice oddly mellow and seemingly distant.
Tip pointed before he bounded downstairs, each step making Daft wince. Derek eyed Daft for a moment before he and Linx followed.

Dorian's ears twitched as he heard approaching feet. He was glad he had not left his door open. He sighed adn rolled over so he was facing the wall, "Whatever..." He muttered.
Aya and her mother were in her sewing room. Aya, getting tired of the boys helped her mother with her latest commission.
As the light in the sky died, Sawyer walked in. She didn't acknowledge anyone and went straight back tot eh sewing room. She smiled upon seeing Aya there and found a seat, "Could you show me?" She asked them both.
Mrs Aramaki shooed Aya away, "Show her yours." She suggested.
Aya grinned and went over to the second of three sewing machines to show Sawyer her project.

Derek, Linx and Tip returned to the diningroom for yet another oh-so-enjoyed game of chess.
Daft curled up on Tip's bed, sighing because the small boy seemed to have left his pillows and stuff in Dorian's room. Wincing, he stood again and exited back into the hallway. The only door that was closed, save for possibly Aya's room, was most likely Dorian's, he thought. Knocking softly, he winced and knocked a little louder, hoping the boy hadnt gone to sleep. "Dorian... I think Tip left his pillows and stuff in there... can I get them back?" He asked through the door.

Dorian opened his eyes and frowned, sitting up. Sure enough there it was, "Oh." He murmered and grabbed it. HE noticed the extra blanket as well and snagged that. He walked over, opened the door and handed them over, "Sorry." He mumbled then closed the door again.

Daft winced at the door closing. He, however, remained standing at the door. "Dorian... umm... are you ok? I'm.. sorry for when I first got here, and... well..." He frowned slightly, trying to come up with the words. "Sorry." He muttered, then re-entered Tip's room, closing the door gently behind him. He then put the blankets and pillows on the bed and curled up on them, trying to figure out what the hell his emotions were doing to him.

((DUN, DUN, DUUUUUUN!))
Dorian hadn't moved from teh other side of the door. He stared at it intensely, frowing. He was about to open the door again but hesitated when he heard Daft's retreatign steps he dropped his hand, "What's going on?" He wondered softly out loud to himself.

A couple of hours later, Derek's head popped into the sewing room. "Umm... sorry to interrupt, but some of us are wondering when dinner is." He grinned sheepishly.
Tip went into his room and shook Daft awake. "Wake up, sleepyhead! We're going to see if we can help with dinner. Come on!" He tugged at the sleepy boy's arms and pulled him into a standing position. Daft groaned, but followed Tip out into the hallway, yawning and running his fingers through his hair. "How long did I sleep?" He asked, grimacing as his headache began to come back. "A few hours." Linx said, walking out from his room to follow them downstairs. "We sent Derek to check and see when dinner is going to be, so we can help out." Daft nodded, and thought about knocking on Dorian's door, but decided not to. He was still confused about earlier that day.

Dorian was fast asleep at this point, not wanting to talk to anyone, he had lain down on teh bed and fallen asleep. Today had been rough physically, mentally, and emotionally, he was exhausted.
Aya, Sawyer, and Mrs Aramaki all looked up at him with identical expressions. A second later, all three of them exploded into action, streaking past him and into the kitchen.
"We'll need somethign quick but tasty." Mrs Aramaki was saying.
"Oh but I wanted to make duck soup for daddy, tonight." Aya complained.
"We don't have enough time, he'll be home soon." Mrs Aramaki replied.
"What about curry?" Sawyer suggested.
They both stared at her.
"That's perfect." Mrs Aramaki replied.
"I'll start the rice." Aya volunteered.
"I'll handle the curry mix."
"Then I'll make the soup. Don't worry, I know how, my mother is very traditional Japanese and she made me miso soup everyday." Sawyer said.
"Boys, could you tidy up the living room and set the table?" Mrs Aramaki called as they started on teh food.

Linx sighed slightly. "Well, there goes that idea..." He muttered. "Well then... I'll be back for dinner. Tip, you know the whistle. I need to stretch." Daft muttered, going out the front door. He changed into a raven and took off in flight, soaring around the area. It felt good with the wind between his wings, even if it was getting really cold...
Tip nodded and started cleaning up the table. "Dont mind him. I'll call him back a little before dinner, even." He assured. Linx shrugged and started cleaning up the table, Derek joining them soon after. They were just about done when Tip went to an open window and whistled a strange tune, and a raven crowed back to him. He stepped back as said raven flew in through the window and landed on the floor. Daft morphed back and shut the window, shivering. "Its cold outside..." He muttered. Derek nodded. "Thought so." He murmered.

Dorian still slumbered heavily upstairs.
They were just serving the dinner when Mr Aramaki came home. He kissed his wife and waved to the kids.
"Oh my, looks like we've got some new ones!" He smiled at Sawyer and Daft.
"Sawyer helped make dinner!" Aya piped up, hugging her father.
((Okay, I gotta scram. I'll post tomorrow! *huggles*))

Daft nodded to Mr. Aramaki. "I'll go wake up Dorian." He said, then disappeared upstairs. "Wake up, Dorian." He said, knocking on the door. "Unless you want to miss dinner, you should probably head downstairs..." Not hearing an answer, he opened the door slightl, and poked his head in. "Dorian?" He asked.
Derek smiled at Mr. Aramaki, and served himself up some food, as well as setting a bowl aside for Dorian. Tip dished up him and Daft some food, and the room became filled with the sounds of eating.

Dorian wasn't moving, his breathing deep. He was curled up impossibly on his bed, looking all the world as peaceful as could be. Anyone looking would never guess he could rip their throat out in a matter of seconds.
Soon the food was dished and everyone was eating.
Sawyer was unusually quiet during this meal.
Aya, who was generally quiet was a bit more bubbly than usual.
Mr and Mrs Aramaki were listening as their daughter recounted the adventures of the day.

"Dorian?" Daft said again, cautiously walking up to the side of the bed. He placed a hand on Dorian's arm and gave a slight shake, trying to wake the boy without him being kiled in the process. "Wake up... dinner's ready..."
Derek ate slowly as he observed everyone around the table. "Shees. How long does it take to wake him up?" He asked aloud.

Sawyer frowned at that and her dark eyes flickered to the stairwell.
Dorian jerked awake but did not sit up. For a moment his eyes opened wide in panic but then calm set in and he sighed. His red eye flickered up to Daft and settled there for awhile. Ever so slowly a frown pulled at Dorian's mouth and shadowed his brow. He sat up, brushign hair out of his eyes and narrowed his gaze on the winged boy, "What are you doing in here?" He asked sharply.
"He might be very, very sleepy." Aya commented.
