History

A Lone lyra boy was given his first duty to protect the boarder of his herd from dangers, one day he wondered how quick his herd mates would come if he called for them if someone attacked them. So he called, and sure enough they came running, even though there was nothing there. They all warned him not to call them again unless something was there. He gave them an ok, and so he was left at the boarder again.

What if they weren't going to come this time? So again he called them saying there was a wolf attacking the boarder. He'd seen something in the brush but they found nothing, and scolded him. But he promised this time he would only call when he needed it.

This time a creature he had only heard of, it came in the form of a wolf and transformed into that of a horse beside him, he was suddenly afraid cried and hollered for his heard mates to come, the wolf star only looked at him hungrily it attacked him the lyra boy didn't remember much after that only he fought as hard as he could to survive, he'd been bitten in various places, he only knew he'd finally heard his herd mates coming and he saw the flash of fur run back into the woods.

Altair had collapsed feeling extremely exausted, he panted.

"Where is altair?" One of his herd mates asked

"Did the wolf get him his feathers are everywhere." another commented

"I'm here." he replied weakly moving toward his herdmates

"The Wolf, the wolf is there." the cry rang out.

Altair was lost for a moment before he realized his herd mates were angrily descending upon him. he scrambled as quick as he could, for some reason he couldn't feel his wings so he used the strength in his legs and ran as fast and as far away as he could until he came to a moonlit lake cautiously he peeked into it seeing a wolfs face he recalled what his herd mates had said... what had the thing done to him? was all he could wonder How was a young yearling going to survive on his own?
