Rep crossed his arms. He was determined would not be outsmarted by clever words. "Because if the person doesn't give a ********, you are talking to yourself ok." As far as he was concerned that made absolute sense.
Jerry's arrival was met by a smile, followed quickly by a frown. He had the guitar with him. He wasn't sure how emotionally ready he was for a sing along.
And thankfully he was saved by a girl opening her pod and making him almost jump out of his skin. He almost summoned Tracey, almost, and it was fortunate he didn't because he'd have taken out a bit of equipment with a not-thought-out 12 foot axe in the room.
"Ah ******** it's another b***h." he sighed in disappointment. Dakota had it handled though, literally.

It was all very well and nice that she was in someone else's arms for a change, but once Pasha came to the very startling realization that this was most certainly not a dream, it became very, very bad. Without thinking, her hands shot up and shoved Dakota's face away from her, one palm against his cheek and the other against his chin.
"Angels are very scary." She chirruped even though she was currently trying to hide his face from sight. "Wings with eyes, multiple heads - ox, lion, tiger, man. Why would you call me an angel."
The next comment was even more startling though, and came from a man that was far too tall for his own good. She stared at him mildly for a second before her lips pursed. "But that's a female dog." She blinked out of her sleepy stupor and hesitantly pried her hands back from Dakota's face. "I don't think I grew ears or a tail in that pod - I didn't, did I?"
And then, in an even tinier voice -"Why are you all so tall."

"Me? Ah'm Ofie. Er...." She paused in her introduction and rubbed her mouth with the back of her wrist. "Ofelia Tanner, Sun Hunter." That was her proper title and she spat it out like she was on some business trip. Ofelia hated being formal since formalities where best left at graves and places where you needed to be formal. "Most people here jus' call me 'Ofie' so have at it."
No one was formal at Deus. "An' yer....uh. Yer name please. We'll go from there wit' that but lemme get outta the way that..." Another pause came from Ofelia as she tried to sort her thoughts. "A- yer not dreamin', that test ya did ta get here was real. B - monsters are real an' they hate us an' yer gonna have ta kill 'em. C - hope yer okay wit' voices in yer head 'cause yer gettin' one soon." Her hand went up and she counted off things. "Okay, that's good. Anyway yeah yer name again."Natsuko-neko so slow, whoops. sorry about that )=

Jerry jumped when the pod opened, and once he had regained his senses and the poor girl had had a few moments to refocus her eyes, his guitar was suddenly spun into hand, his face beaming with enthusiasm as he gave a strum and sang out: "They come from the darkest lands With claws and malice in their hands To reap Fear and sorrow and misery But we cannot just let that be..." His strumming suddenly picked up tempo, a good strong, folky STRUMMA STRUMMA as he belted: "Welcome to Deeeeus! You've awakened now cut loose! We're soldiers in a war unseen! Welcome to Deeeus! Those creatures may be a bit obtuse but our might and weapons will make THEM scream! You've been recruited! To Deus you have saluted, Your weapon is just as thrilled to meet you as us! Through trials, horrors, dragon's fire, We will fight and purge and aspire To rid the world of our darkest fears! Welcome to deus, you're a Hunter for the rest of your years!" If someone didn't stop him, it was likely to continue.

Dakota was about to comment on the tales of angelic beautiful descriptions but...
Jerry broke out in song. At first Dakota was like...WHAT THE ******** MAN ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL HER? And then the tune was really catchy and he started humming and then words and he wasn't the greatest singer so he swung the girl around.
"And so We welcome you to Dues. Tha'ts Jerry and I'm Dakota and the grumpy ginger is Rep."
Dakota was totally nuzzling the small girls face with his. "Also I called you Angel because beyond all that, they were often seen as creatures or beings that were peaceful and beautiful. Its all up to interpertation darling. What's your name?"

"It's a female dog. It's also a ******** name for a whore, also known as a woman." Rep grunted. He was sick of women being smartasses.
He was about to berate her further when Jerry started singing. Why was it always singing? Always. "I don't think she wants to go ******** deaf." he butted in, not even missing a beat as he added. "I'm no ginger either. And let me tell you angels are two faced little bitches with razor tongues. I'd know."

"Well, I don't think she wants to be molested either. Dakota." Jerry gave a few curious strums. "And it's not done yet anyway. Did you think that song was assuring and informative, Miss?" He ignored them both, stepping in to give the new girl as bright a smile as his burn-scar riddled face could manage.

There was singing too.
Pasha was pretty sure she had been relocated to some sort of strange hell. The song itself was catching - but then there was the big man with insults and the strange boy nuzzling her face and - why couldn't she have just encountered other girls instead? Or a pile of instruction manuals. That would have been nicer. And much, much safer.
"O-okay."
She wasn't about to argue with her strange harassment case, but the nuzzling only made her cheeks burn and she slapped him away gently after tolerating it for a few seconds, smiling weakly back at the scarred artist who'd stepped closer into the circle of bodies to say hello. "I think I can walk properly now, thank you for your continued... assistance...." And focusing her attention solely on that, Pasha swung herself out of Dakota's arms (with or without some mild wiggling) and landed in triumph on her own two feet --
Only to realize everyone was over a foot taller than her.
"Oh."
Tolerating Rep's berating tone, Pasha turned first to Dakota, tugging at one of her pigtails. She supposed, after all, that she would do everything in order. "Cordelia." She supplied quietly. "Cordelia Anthemilia Bennett." She supplied weakly, pushing her fingers to her burning cheeks, massaging them as though the blushing would go down. "But you can call me Pasha!" She spoke up suddenly, like blurting out an easier name to remember.
She swung on her heel to stare up at Rep, seeing as where she stood now, she probably only reached his shoulder... if even that. "I - " She bit her tongue on the idea of reciting dictionary terms and synonyms to him, because it was a bad idea. "I'm sorry if I've done something to offend you." She supplied timidly, bobbing her head.
Jerry was addressed next, her eyes falling on his guitar with unabashed fascination for a second before she looked at the man himself. "It was... informative, thank you." She clutched the hem of her dress, examining all three of them as though they were part of some odd historical piece in a museum she'd yet to find the purpose of. "I didn't realize weapons had the ability to be thrilled to see me though...?" She pushed her hair out of her face, tucking it behind an ear. "And who are you?"
She raised her brows at all three men. "All of you, that is."Nyxtsuki Moon sorry i am still trying to get a hold of rping pasha ;___; this is a bad post aaa

Dakota didn't stop nuzzling, even with all the small slaps. He was more surprised when she swung out of his grip. With his hands empty now, he looked at her like a very sad, very lonely, very kicked puppy.
"Oh okay Little angel...' He stuck his hands in his pockets and sent a eye roll at Rep, he didn't understand his hate for women but since Dakota LOVED women, guess there had to be some equilibrium on that part.
"Cordelia is a pretty name!" Dakota grinned, "Pasha is adorable though." Kind of like Saya. Seriously, such cute girls in his life.
"Don't worry about Rep, Pasha. He has this tendency to hate on the women, though I never understood how you and Molly...Candace get along so well." Those two ladies of course being Dakota's two favorite ladies as well.
"I'm sure YOUR weapon will be thrilled to see you though." Dakota hesitated and pointed a finger at himself. "I'm Dakota Rainstar of the moon division, If you ever need defense, I'm your man. And if you ever want to go out on a date or anything like that too, I'm your man." He turned to look at the other two like, I CLAIM DIBS look.

"I hate women ******** rightly. Most of them are ******** idiots. Until proven otherwise.." he gave Pasha a stern look as if it was her duty to impress him rather than some bizarre imposed standards. "..you are a ******** idiot, it's how it goes."
Dakota got a very even unimpressed look. "And aye, you might as well shag Dakota if you are going to shag anyone. The rest of the guys around here are..." he gave Jerry a look and declined to finish his statement.
"And the real catches like me are already engaged."
What a wingman.

"Ah... I'm Jerry, Jerry Collins. Sun Division." The third man gave a timid strum on his guitar and a fresh smile, although the more Dakota dove in for the kill, the redder his face got behind his thick glasses and burn scars. His voice dipped down a bit shyly, " And I'm available for dates too if you wanted..." Jerry loved women too. Unfortunately, they had a tendency to not love him back. His track record was pretty dismal.

It was all a lot to take in, and Pasha's mind was stuttering and stammering as information came from every single mouth - person.
She tilted her head at the explanations by Dakota. So, first there was a womanizer, and then a misogynist? And then of course the musician. What kind of place was this? Did all manner of crazy just attempt to congregate here? Wait - did that make her crazy too? "Oh - okay." She frowned at his kicked puppy look, reaching up just enough to graze her fingers across his hair, almost like petting an animal in dire need of attention. "I - I think I'm alright for now. I don't think I need any defense - " against anything but your advances, was not the right thing to say.
She bit her lip and finished with "oranydates."
Rep's response was met with a minor flare of insecurity - Pasha could write him off as just another schoolyard bully, that didn't bother her, but were all people in this place some manner of insane? She had enough trouble trying to make herself look presentable as it was! "I - am not very interested in shagging anyone. But thank you for the recommendation?" Her voice shrunk awkwardly with each syllable until she was barely whispering, her cheeks cherry red.
She took a step back from them all just then, ready to just beeline for the door and hope that they would go back to whatever it was they were doing. Jerry's shy voice was just enough to tip her dazed wake-up haze off a cliff and awaken her brain fully. Why was everyone so eager to mention their availability?
"that is very kind of you all, pleasejustdirectmetowhereverIneedtogoandIwilltakemeleavenow."
Pasha didn't even realize she was inching back still until she'd stepped through the open door to the room. Oh, thank god, an exit. She just wanted to hide and read a book and stop existing, because she was definitely in a land of crazies.
Was that too much to ask?

Dakota shrugged at the mention of no dates...
"Well I could lead you to the-"
A small sigh escaped from a a different voice, and a fourth companion to this merry band of trio in here.
Nevada had her arms crossed as she looked over the men surrounding the small girl and sighed loudly again.
"Excuse me, just what are you guys doing? I think you're overwhelming the poor lass. And she hasn't made it to the cove." Nevada gently took the girls arm, giving her a gentle albeit lazy smile and started to lead her from the group of men.
"Don't look back Cutie." Nevada urged the girl out of the room. "Just don't look back..."
Leaving the three amigo's to stand with each other.
"I think that went smashingly until Nevada showed up." Dakota stuck his hands in his pocket and looked at Jerry, "Also you are one of the best wingmans ever Rep. Seriously, might as well shag me if shagging anyone on the island." Dakota snorted.

Something was calling. A soft haunting sound, a primal song gently touching his thoughts from the depths of unknown darkness. This song quickly grew into a roar of noise that choked all his senses and rattled him down to his very bones.
His eyes shot open, revealing brown swirled with smoky grey and splattered with the green and gold of life. They quickly closed again as the cold bit painfully. The roar of noise now replaced by the sounds of air blasting across his skin. Reality greeted him rather harshly. It was like being born all over again, only this time no doctor to greet him.
He held perfectly still, trying to adjust.

Pod duty was the single worst thing as far as Rep was concerned, especially when he was on his own. It didn't help that his luck as far as people waking up while he was on duty was pretty ridiculously high. Today he was reading out of sheer boredom, glasses on, a book called Survival below zero open on his lap.
He almost jumped out of his skin when the pod nearest him started beeping loudly, setting aside the book to trigger the opening mechanism.
"Better no be another ******** b***h." he muttered as the lid drew back.
He took one long critical look at the man in front of him and sighed. "Wakey ******** wakey, rise and shine. Welcome to hell : Population - you. You don't get a lie-in."
