Less movement? The monster obediently tilted his head, but was clearly waiting for further explanation. Less movement! Okay! He could remember that! Sort of.
His hands were happily thrust out to the girl when they were requested, fingers wriggling a little before he found them set on her hips. Was he supposed to pick her up? It seemed so, because she was soon touching his shoulders again! Gargantuan's mouth opened in a grin before he gently plucked her into the air this time, and, well. Swayed!
It was easy enough to begin swaying from side to side, but then he remembered she'd said something about music. Oh. That was harder. His tongue poked out between his teeth in concentration, but he was doing a passable job. One, and two, one, and two...

The hunchback shifted uneasily, eyes dropping down to lock on his boots and Mal's hooves, mismatched brows furrowed. How could he explain? "I do ath commanded, thir. I will be a good Igor." But he wasn't, yet. That much was clear to him. "It'th not my plathe to argue anything. Thith wath... an exthperiment, thir. When.. when it's worn out, that'll hawe to be the end of it." He was lucky to have gone this long, after all. Malodore and Riley's concern only made him more anxious to get back to Morrigan... before it was too late.

She was sure - sure - she'd said something about staying on the ground. And yet, there she was, being held up against G's form once more. At least he wasn't slinging her around like a toy anymore - being up in the air wasn't so awful. It was just.. kind of.. close. Her grip tightened, in case he got any funny ideas and decided to fling her about again, and she nodded hesitantly.
That's, ah, good. I think. Really, I'm such an awful judge of this. I never learned how to dance. It was an irrelevant and abstract concept, that we never found had any merit. It surprises me how much dancing has actually occurred in the last few weeks for me, however. None more than this, though, I assure you.
She held her tongue, realizing she had been rambling just slightly as her thoughts got away from her, and focused on the present. Her eyes crinkled at the sides, in lieu of a smile. Well. Are you enjoying yourself tonight, G?

"Experimentation is always worthy," Malodore acknowledged. "If nothing else, I am sure your singing will be remembered for quite some time..."
It paused for a moment, then leaned in a bit closer, dropping its voice to a quiet murmur. "And, ah... there was one other thing. The other night, with the sugar-sticks in Riley's room - you did an excellent job. Aiding even though it left you in pieces, even though Riley was so angry - you are an eccellente Igor, Christof." There was that firm-but-protective edge in its voice again.
"Now... andare da lei."

Christof's expression crumbled slightly at the sudden compliment, eyes rising up to those goggles and beak, brows raised, "It... it wath for her own good!" He managed, "Thometimeth loyalty meanth... doing what'th betht ewen when the Mathter doeth not know what'th betht." He just hoped Riley would see it that way... eventually. For now she had made it pretty clear she was furious with him... for more than just Icky Stix. He tried to toughen himself up, straightening (as much as he was able) with a polite nod, "Mulţumethc, Maethtre."

"Indeed it does," Malodore said, quietly, releasing Christof's shoulder. "Go get some use out of that tongue of yours before the stitches loose completely."
It still didn't like what it had seen, but... it seemed the irritant would soon be gone. And if the patchwork had the urge to replace it later, well... by then, perhaps Malodore would have learned enough...

Christof grabbed another handful of ice cubes, bowing to the Plague Doctor before scurrying off towards the door again, praying Morrigan was where he had left her... and she had missed his embarrassing display on stage with his so-called-friend.

It seemed as if Christof had a habit of disappearing for short periods and really, she was pretty much done with the party. Without shoes, she felt awkward and she had a good time. There was no sense dragging it out longer than needed. She decided it was time to head back to her room. She wondered if she would have to walk back through the cafeteria or if she could cut around the outside of the building and find another way in? The last thing she needed was to be stuck behind a locked door so she opted to go back through the cafeteria.
She nearly walked right into Christof as she entered. "Oh, there you are! I.. I think it's time for me to go, Patches. I had a really nice time here with you but my feet are getting cold and I'm a bit worn out. Also, Mimic needs his dinner," she quietly added. She had hoped he would mingle with the other pets and familiars, eat some candy and have a good time but he never left her side. He was probably starving.

The hunchback jumped as he nearly missed her- but looked relieved she hadn't just left. "I... I'm tho thorry about... about abandoning you. Um. My er... athothiateth can be er... demanding," He murmured a bit bitterly in regards to Calder. Still, Malodore's concern had put him on edge, "I... I could... walk you back at leatht?" He managed weakly. "I... I did have a good time. I'm glad you came and um..."

She really had no idea what he was trying to say. Athothawhat-a? It was probably not important. "I think I would like that," she smiled at his offer to walk her back. She never had a boil walk her back to her room before. Of course, she had never been on a date before either. Tonight was a lot of firsts for her. First date, first dance, first kiss and now her first walk back with a boil. What did they expect? She really wasn't ready for anything more.
Still, it was nice to have him offer all the same. She had read about that in some of the books she hid under her bed. What had they called it? Chivalry? They said that chivalry died so maybe that was why the undead still had it? Christof had turned out to be a gentleman. "It's been an interesting night. The good kind of interesting." She linked her arm with his and lead him slowly towards the cafeteria exit.
What the hell? He that was known as Christof had a way of weaseling his way back. The b*****d! Mimic bounced behind, eyeing the undead's ankles with yearning. How he loathed the stinky one. Just do something forward, punk. Displease Morrigan. Scare her. Give me any reason to bite your face off.

Sin noticed that no one else was getting up to sing, but not everyone was gone yet either. The night did seem to be winding down though so she gave Barth's hand a small squeeze. "I'm gonna sing, I'll be right back..." She flicked her hair back and headed up to the Scareoke picking out a song.
Sin smiled as she made her choice and then took the mic her voice slowly changing into the sultry whisper she so rarely had to use at school.
"Baby did a bad bad thing, baby did a bad bad thing. Baby did a bad bad thing, baby did a bad bad thing. You ever love someone so much you thought your little heart was gonna Break in two? I didn't think so."
She held the microphone close her fingers slowly caressing it as she sang, her hips slowly swaying to the music.
"You ever tried with all your heart and soul to get you lover back to You? I wanna hope so. You ever pray with all your heart and soul just to watch her walk away? Baby did a bad bad thing, baby did a bad bad thing. Baby did a bad bad thing, feel like crying, feel like crying."
She tossed her hair back slowly turning and touching her heart before her hands went back to cradling the mic.
"You ever toss and turn your laying awake and thinking about the one you Love? I don't think so. You ever close your eyes you making believe your holding the one your Dreaming of? Well if you say so. I hurts so bad when you finally know just how low, low, low, low, low, She'll go."
Sin's eyes closed and for a moment her arms slowly wrapped around her as if holding some imaginary love. She slowly let go and leaned back, back, back, almost the limbo at the words 'low, low, low...' Her spine snapped straight again and she swayed slowly as she finished up the song.
"Baby did a bad bad thing, baby did a bad bad thing. Baby did a bad bad thing, feel like crying, feel like crying. Ohh. Feel like crying, feel like crying. Ohh, feel like crying, feel like crying.
Baby did a bad bad thing, baby did a bad bad thing."
She put the mic back and stepped off the stage heading back towards Barth and looking around for Pantaloons and Ladyluv, those scamps still had her purse after all. She was about ready to call it a night though, after all she had eaten, drank, danced, and sung...all that was left was a goodnight kiss.

"i'we... newer been to a p-party before. Um. I don't think that Truth or Dare meeting a few weekth ago countth. It wathn't like thith." He flushed, practically floating along as she tucked her hand around his arm. "I... I think I liked it, though." He shifted, trying desperately to think of what else to say. Well... well... Ghouls liked compliments, right? And... Riley seemed to swoon every time Malodore spoke to her in it's native tongue. He decided to give it a go. Granted, Romanian was not quite as romantic as Italian but... "Er... Um. Ethti foarte draguta. Ai buzthe minunat... proporţionale." He muttered. Alright, it sounded a lot more romantic in his head. But at least he was *trying*, right? It seemed to work for Malodore anyway.
As Christof lead her down the path towards the Demon Dorms, the patchwork hodgepodge of a scareon known as Scruff happily gave a burp. He had eaten his fill of garbage pickings and danced until he finally managed to pry his way out of the globulous oozing feline, and now spotted his Master making his way back with some stranger... that was not the way home! Trotting, it passed by an interesting thing he couldn't quite comprehend. It seemed like a box, it looked like a box, but it did not move like a box- boxes usually didn't move at all. but they did sometimes contain delicious things, and so he was intent on exploring this new found Interesting Thing closer.

Lucien smiled at Israfel and carefully tucked the gift away. He was so happy. Tonight was the best night ever. He had learned what a dance was, how to dance, got to dance with Israfel, and finally told Israfel how he felt. It had taken awhile but the air spirit had finally did it and gotten a very positive reply. Very, very good night. Lucien was all too happy to do whatever the siren wanted. He even waited without much of a worry in the world when Israfel left him for a moment. He was just all that happier when the siren came back and asked him what he wanted to do. He answered sincerely.
"I would be pleased to accompany you anywhere you wish." Always.

Malodore watched Christof go, a thoughtful... lack of expression on its face. After a few moments, it turned its focus back to the dance floor, and to Gargantuan and Riley...
... who looked a bit in need of a rescue. Well. Malodore threaded its way through the students until it reached the dance floor, then tapped the swamp monster on the shoulder. "Ah, I believe the phrase is 'cutting in'?" it said, a little awkwardly.

Gargantuan, at least, was having quite the wonderful time. "G like dancin' with Riley." He said simply, apparently not minding her flustered rambles. "Lotsa food 'n people G knows, and is nice!" He would twirl her about for several more moments--at least until a bony, familiar finger tapped him on the shoulder.
The swamp monster brightened immediately at the sight of the doctor, glanced at Riley in his arms... and, well, then pulled Malodore in for one of his infamous hugs. "Hiiiiiiii." He rumbled happily, then gingerly put Riley into the other's arms.
"Dance good with Riley, kay? Riley needs good dance."
